I have had continuous issues with this theme. I’ve had to delete my site and re-upload over and over again. I’m on the 7th try! Everything seems to run fine until the demo content is imported. My most recent issue is, I replaced one image on the home page and now the page gets stuck loading. Whether I’m using the editor or trying to view. Even if I create a new page with no content it does the same thing.
Each time I have worked with this site it seems that the images are causing the problems. I am running WP 4.5.2 I am severely disappointed in this theme, as I have spent 3 days trying to troubleshoot and ensuring that my settings are adequate. My settings are: post_max_size = 64M upload_max_filesize = 128M memory_limit = 256M max_input_time = 240 max_execution_time = 600 max_input_vars = 5000 I’m on a managed wordpress hosting environment.
I know it is not a hosting issue, because I have made a duplicate site on the same host account and used a different theme (avada) and have no problems whatsoever.

You need to directly translate it in the content itself. That mean that you need to add the translated content in the shortcodes.

Und where do I find that exact file where I need to change the words? By using ftp and looking into themes -> whistleV1.2 -> languages—> whistle.po I can’t find the days. So there must be another place for the shortcodes languages, right? Where can I find the files for the shortcodes?

You can find the shortcode language file from this path wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/languages/dt_themes-default.po. This file name should be renamed to dt_themes-de_DE.po and open the file with a poeditor and you can translate all the texts from our theme. If you language is different, then rename the file as such.
