running the theme for several months, everything works fine except that I cannot install many plugins, for example: all plugins of “related post” and “translation”
Hello! Thanks for letting us know. This is unusual. I wonder if this is theme related or server related. To test, please activate another theme, like Twenty Fifteen. Then try to add a new plugin, if it works then please create a ticket with access and we can investigate. https://themovation.ticksy.com/ – If you still are experiencing issues then please ask your web host if there are any known errors in the error logs, they might be able to tell what;s preventing you from installing plugins.

Sorry for my unclear expression, I can install the plugins but they do not work, I’ve tested the plugins on my other sites which work fine.

I am going to again open the issue with sub navigation on mobile breakpoints. We don’t want to duplicate the items. Can we get fix so that second click opens top page?

Hi, yes the theme now comes bundled with the Master Slider Pro plugin which allows for video backgrounds in the sliders. We don’t currently have it displayed in the Pursuit demo, but you can see an example in the demo for Stratus which is another theme of ours: http://demo.themovation.com/stratus/home-startup/

While very flexible inside the theme patterns, this theme is pretty rigid in terms of extending it. There should be a way to easily add a custom metabox without touching the core theme logic. It should also allow more alignment with WordPress content types to allow setting up repeating content that comes from wp_posts and not have to edit static pages for everything. If this is all possible, then we should have it in the docs. And speaking of the docs, they need to be more detailed. There are a number of fields that are not documented.

Can you give us a little more info on exactly what you are trying to do? Then we can help figure out the best way to assist you. We feel that the theme is very flexible and welcoming to custom post types. You can also add your own Meta boxes although I’m not sure what you are trying to do so I”ll need some detailed information.

I’m confident the theme can do virtually anything you like. You have free access to our child theme that is bundled. All our templates are supported by the child theme as well, so if you want to customize you just activate the child them and copy over any template you wish.
We’ve worked hard to make this theme very flexible and developer friendly. Can you please share with us what’s not working for you?

Thank for the direction about how to extend the meta boxes. This is excellent. The basic docs should mention this or make it more clear. The marketing docs should also promote this.
As for content types, there should be options in the metaboxes to include content from posts instead of manually adding tot he metabox. For instance, a service block could be managed by adding a post in a custom type or with a tag in posts. And metabox with a “multi field” type content area could be sourced from posts.
Hi, I just realized that you are using Pursuit and that meta box guide works with our newer themes, Stratus, Entrepreneur and Bellevue. Stratus is a tech theme as well and it does all features you are talking about, it has all the content types broken down into custom post types and you reference them via meta boxes. Sorry about the confusion. We are happy to switch the products for you if it makes your life easier.
I see what you are saying about the meta boxes, you need to enter your content on the page vs referencing it from a custom post type. To help with that you can use a plugin called duplicate post, that allows you to clone pages, then you can remove the ones you don’t need. That will speed up your development time.

I just reviewed Stratus and it pretty much the same with different style defaults. I would like to try Stratus if I would not need to rebuild the site as it stands.
The framework is different, so the content won’t import directly into the new meta box system. However we are happy to send you a copy so you can test it out to see if it will work for you. Can you contact us via email? Pursuit is great as well and if you choose not use Stratus we can certainly support you using Pursuit. Many people love the way Pursuit is setup and prefer this over Stratus but from the way you are describing how you want to work with the theme, stratus might be a better fit for you. Compatilbility problem with Gravity Form
?I have a two pages form built with Gravity forms. It has worked for months without problem but since a couple of weeks when I submit the first page I arrive on a blank page.
When I change Pursuit for another theme like Twenty Thirteen, the form works very well.

I update automatically. WP version 4.5.2 and GF 1.9.19

How can I use custom icons? I have the icons already and included the CSS, but I’m not sure how can I “insert” them into the service block. I tried the way you’re supposed to do with any Glyphicon, but chose “none” and used my class “icon-Monkey”. Any clue?
Hi, that’s basically how you would do it except you need to select one of the options other than ‘none’ and then use CSS. If you select none then no icon is output. Hi there! Can you check for any JS errors? Try loading up the site and then open Chrome Dev tools / JS console to see if there are any js errors. There might be a plugin conflict. It’s hard to know unless we see the site

Hi, I posted a response in your ticket. The issue was a conflict with a third-party plugin.
Whenever I tried to upload a .png or .jpg or any kind, the last one was ( 800×400 – 72 RGB – 72DPI ) I receive this error message. The theme doesn’t work well if I cannot upload images. Please help with this as I’ve already submitted several support tickets.

In the live previews, the color selection (settings on the right) seems to not work, but the background patterns and pictures do work. Is this correct? Where should the colours be changing?
I just tested and the colors are changing for me. They should change the buttons, nav link hover, some headings, footer icons, etc. Some page sections have custom background colors that aren’t changed by those demo swatches, but can certainly be changed in the theme itself.
I can’t add a hyper link in the footer section of the plans feature? Anyway to fix this?
