If you mean security issue hotfix, yes then it will not affect your design, if you mean entire template update, then depends on modifications which you made, or on your theme version

i tried the iqitfreedeliverycount module but i don’t understand how to select the carrier on wich free delivery will apply because i have several carriers for many destinations and only want freedelivery for one. Thanks.

Module make countuing for one value of free shippuing, which you can definied in backfofice for carrier. So it use default prestashop free shipping value.
It also allow to set custom free shippng value inside module configuration, it is fine if you offer free shipping only for one carrier

I update the theme but on category.tpl, line 86 : Why “category_thumbs” is become “medium_default” ?!
becouse prestashop introduded category thumbials option, so you can upload separate image as thumb and separate image image as main big image for category. unfortunatly it do not provide function to call thumb image, it only can be recognized by image size. if category_thumbs fits better do you needs you can change it
READ !!!!IMPORTANT SECURITY ISSUE!!! Site got hacked with this theme!
Our site was hacked through the following modules because of VERY bad coding of the upload script! (uploadimage.php): columadverts homepageadvertise homepageadvertise2 productpageadverts Maybe more but these were the ones we could find this fast.
Files placed on server by hacker/scriptkiddie: bun.php , iv.htm, x.htm, idx_config Hacker got acces to everything on the server. Even passwords and MySQL server.
There is NO check on filextension check in de file uploadscript and there is NO check if the upload is posted by the backoffice of Prestashop.or not.
We temporarly fixed it by creating a security token and checking on file extensions
The author must provide a decent and secure solution for these modules.

When in upload a image to category, in BO i can see it but not into front, it gives me an 404 into domain.com/c/31-category_thumbs/skoda.jpg I set the medium_default, category_default , regenerated thumbnails and empty / disable cache
