Would I be able to incorporate plug-ins for real estate sales?
You can use third-party plug-ins, but keep in mind that Skrollex not tested with it. Because Skrollex is Layers theme I recommend that you use plug-ins, which announced as compatible with Layers WP.
In addition, it should be borne in mind that if a plugin extends the functionality of standard wordpress editor, then these features will be available only in the pages that are created without Layers page builder.
I’m following the Create Page From Preset step by step, but it gets stuck at the “Add a page title” screen. After I enter the page name and click “Proceed to Customizer” the progress bar finishes and it stays there forever, it never makes it to the Customizer. Please advise
Most likely you will see the cause of the error in the server error log. Or you can give me temporary access to your admin panel. I do tell, what is the reason. You can use the contact form in my profile for this purpose.
The error log in my cPanel is empty. What admin panel do you need? cPanel or Wordpress. How can I share login info privately?

It’s difficult to me, understand why this theme is getting one star ratings, to me one star should be reserved only to bad written codes and lack of support wich is not the case. So i hope after get help people can enjoy their new site as well and rate it a little bit higher. I just purchased this theme and it is a clean install. After running into the same installation errors cited by others on this support thread, I changed the name of the “layers” folder to “layerswp” in Filezilla and only then was Wordpress able to recognize the parent theme and install Skrollex – however, when I click “activate” I receive this error:
Fatal error: Class ‘Layers_Widget’ not found in /home/bluelapi/public_html/wp-content/themes/skrollex/widgets/skrollex-widget.php on line 6

This installation has brought my whole Wordpress dashboard down. I cannot even access the dashboard, I’m getting this error. Yes, I’ve tried clearing my cache and access from different browsers.
I have also tried deleting the Layers and Skrollex themes from FTP and reinstalling. Still receiving this error.

It looks like a broken Layers.
Or may be some problems with the server configurtion.

Hello! I just bought Skrollex Theme and I am having some problems with ShortCodes.
Everytime I use a ShortCode, it shows exactly the ShortCode text, in stead of the Effect I want. Like;
text="Our awesome location" latitude="42.487606" longitude="-71.115661"]sx_map_marker text="Our sales office" latitude="42.485100" longitude="-71.113256"This would show that text in stead of a button to my Map. Do I need to install anything else in order to get it working? Sorry, I am kinda new to WordPress!

Oh never mind! I just found the problem. Missing activating a plugin
I added a white logo (png). How is it possible to change the colour of the logo to black, when the website is scrolled down? When the header changes to white, the logo vanishes because of the colour. I also have the logo as svg. What shall I do? Thanks for your help!
?olor of png image can not be dynamically changed, but you can change the background color (the menu and borders) for both states. If you use svg logo, you can control the color via CSS, but it depends on the your SVG code. If you have coding skills, you should use css selectors html.state1 and html.state2

In the admin panel you have notification about the need to activate some plugins. Please activate this plugins.

Is there a way to change the sliding header/border into a fixed postion?
Could you explain more what you mean? Maybe you should use a layout like demo Sofia, Rosa, Lynda etc?
On the opening section, where the outlined box (that contains the header, social media tags and page bullets) is fixed. I was primarily looking for a fixed header.

There are two layouts for these elements. Such as in demos Alice, Nina, Rosa etc. and such as in demos Rosa, Sophia, Lynda etc. It can be set in Site Settings / Appearance, or via presets. Other options are not provided. I note that if it were possible to fix these elements, the first variant would be not readable when scrolling while the second variant, and so is almost unchanged when scrolling

Is there a way to edit the amount of time the images in the background of the slider are shown? For example, the images are displaying for like 5 seconds and I’ld like to make that like 2
Sorry, but this feature is not implemented in admin interface. Animation time can be changed only in the javascript sources, but I do not recommend it, because it will complicate the upgrades.

Skrollex titled as One Page Theme primarily for marketing reasons, but multipage functionality is also supported. All demos consist of several pages. You can create multiple pages by Layers Builder and also in the usual way for wordpress including ordinary pages and blog posts.
How to enable or turn on sliding effect on HOME PAGE when using mobile ?
You probably mean the animation of backgrounds? Animation disabled on mobile devices for performance reasons. Unfortunately there is no easy way to enable it without the risk of hang on mobile devices.
I am also wanted to know if sliding effects can be enabled when using mobile. Right now using iPhone6, there is no sliding effect. And hence those images beneath 1st image not able to access.
If you want guaranteed display images on any device, you should use a ordinary slider rather than the background image. You can use widget Slider. You can select it by “Add a Widget”. This is the simplest way to create a ordinary slider on the entire section. Also, you can use slider in widget SX Section as is done in the section Work. You can use this slider in the normal sections also.
I’m trying to get my Contact page to look like the one in the Lynda demo. Nothing I do seems to work. Font sizes and colors aren’t the same, Contact info comes before the contact form (not side by side like in the demo), backgrounds don’t scale to full width (even the stock ones that come with the package) Please Help!
Just delete all contact forms from Contact / Contact Forms. Form will be auto recreated with default settings.

Do not use Contact Details & Map. Use SX Section. The easiest way – is to create a page from preset and see how it’s done there.

howdy. I just downloaded the skrollex theme and am getting the following error message. I have already download the layers download as well.

Looks like Layers installed incorrectly. If you give me access to the administration panel, I can tell you what has been done wrong.
Skrollex Version 1.1.3 available for download. Tested with Layers 1.5.4.
Hi – I’ve just installed both the LayersWP theme and the Skrollex theme via the wordpress backend, and I’ve noticed the following message at the top of my dashboard.
“Installed Layers 1.5.4. This child theme tested with Layers 1.5.3. We strongly recommend that you install version that was tested with the child theme. To remove patent theme, you must first deactivate child theme or you can use FTP to replace parent theme.”
I went and found 1.5.3 and installed it after seeing the message, BUT when I install “the version it was tested with” the Skrollex theme won’t even activate.
Is this something I should be worried about? Do I need to use 1.5.3, or is it ok to use 1.5.4?
If i need to use 1.5.3, why can’t I Activate the Skrollex them when it’s installed?
Make sure you have installed the Layers to folder:
wp-content/themes/layerswp
(not …/layerswp-1.5.3 or something else).
Download the correct version via link that is given in the notification.
Layers 1.5.4 was released only today. Last update of Skrollex was before, and it was tested with Layers 1.5.3. Next Skrollex version will be tested with Layers 1.5.4 or with the latest version at the time of publication.

I have noticed viewing Lynda theme on my laptop at 1366×768 the background images are static and do not move. But viewing on my 1920×1080 the images DO move. I understand disabling the movement for mobile, but why don’t the background images move and change on smaller resolutions?
Does your theme have a way to activate the changing of backgrounds and movement for laptop resolutions?

Yes. The laptop is touchscreen compatible.
Unfortunately, there is no reliable way to distinguish between touchscreen laptop and mobile device. The animation on mobile devices is disabled for performance reasons.
Then this is the first theme that I have come across that utilizes a touchscreen variable to determine if a device is mobile or not. Others use the device’s resolution and @media to establish a resolution threshold (ie 768px).
I highly recommend that you change your coding so that it falls more inline with industry best practices. As I said, if you look at all other themes, visual composer etc, mobile devices are detected via screen size NOT whether a device is touch compatible.
Determine mobile device by screen resolution – a very bad idea. And it certainly is not a common practice. @media rules designed entirely for other purposes. Of course it also used in Skrollex, but only where it is required to determine the size of window and not something else.

Simplest way is to upload (overwrite) a new copy of the theme’s folder to wp-content/themes. You can use ftp or other tools for this purpose.
