pre sales question ….. does the theme support creating custom portfolio categories (or post type) for example products, reviews, awards, etc, and then also be able to customise the single post view for each of those categories (or post type) ? Thanks in advance

Hi I really like the theme. If I purchase it, would be to sell printed media? Artwork and photography. Can you please let me know if the woo commerce functionality will allow me to change the printed output of each item I wish to sell. Also, after the customer has purchased something from my website, how does the distribution of the product work? Is there print and distribution centres that can be included in the transaction to allow an automated process? Would this be in the form of a wordpress plugin? If so, do you have any advice on that?

I was looking for one slider with those fruit images, but did not find in the demo content as the slider shown in “SIDEBAR & FULLWIDTH MIX” demo home page. this theme is NOT compatible with Internet Explorer 9, unfortunately.

Hi, My developer has loaded images on to the front page of the Scalia theme. But, they load for a brief second, then disappear. He thinks the visual composer may be the issue and says this ” I see that visual composer is not enabled and not being used and has the same message to activate visual composer by clicking on a link that says you do not have permissions to access.

Kind of odd since it is asking us to do it.”

The more I use this theme, the more I absolutely HATE it. I regret having spent a dime on it.

There are multiple programming decisions that make no sense;

- the galleries are referenced by code in one spot but names in another spot, so you have no idea which gallery you’re referring to when you want to include it on the page.

- forces you to use one specific mailchimp plugin or the formatting breaks, even though there are better plugins out there.

- forces a grey background strip at the top of the footer that would normally be hidden by the footer menu. Remove the menu and you’re stuck with a grey strip that won’t go away, but serves no other purpose. There is no reason for it being there, let alone making it impossible to override.

- to add an icon you have t scroll through a loooong narrow list of the icons available, memorise the code for the specific icon you want, close the window, and input the code. As long as the narrow list is, it doesn’t have that great of a selection. Why they didn’t just use Font Awesome icons with their intuitive icon names and massive icon library, who knows.

- the code is so bloated it actually slows your server down

...and on and on. If you’re just going to change a few colours, slap your logo on it, and call it a day – and you don’t mind bloat and several typos in the code and demo text – you might like this theme. If you’re going to try to make a child theme this one will fight you tooth and nail over the smallest of changes. Very non-intuitive, very frustrating, very very not recommended.
