Hi there, I had a “horizontal chained image box” element and everything was displaying fine. And then suddenly, the element in the template is empty and I have to put in the info again. Later, it happens again. I cant show you the website because it is in my localhost.

Hello,
we purchased your theme and using it for one of our clients website. After we finished creating the site and moving it to our clients server and setting it up under a different domain we needed to change the urls (which is part of our normal workflow). It works when visiting the website at the frontend we can see the new links which now match the domain. But when opening the respective template in the backend it still shows the old links and when saving the template it will overwrite our changes in the database. This seems like a theme issue.
I guess there is some kind of a synchronization bug? How can we fix that without changing every template by hand because we built a lot of templates.

Moving a RT18 website needs to be done by ways of the duplicator plugin because the theme uses encrypted serialized data. Any other way will cause issues and unpredictable results.

Hello, How can I create a Menu on Sidebar, with expansion posibility whem mouseover? For example, I have 3 Important Categories, and each of them has 20 subcategories. I want to show only the main category, and when is mouseovered, the other 20 will have to appear.

I am sorry, but it is not available by the developers design. I will bring this thread to the developers attention and if he decides to implement the suggestion you will see in one of the next updates.
However if you see no further information on this here or in a future update release overview of what has been added. adjusted or fixed, then he has decided against.

Hi there, I have two websites that are using the rt-18 theme. It is a great theme! But I run into issue when migrating my two website from localhost to live server.
When I run a tool that changes all the localhost URL to live server URL, everything look fine and viewable including the TEXT and IMAGES. But I ran into some issue For example: 1. My home page showing a slider. If I were to edit the homepage in the template builder(whether to edit some text or image), I saved and preview, all the images in the homepage are gone. 2. When i look into the elements in the template builder, all the images are still in the localhost url. So i have to upload from the media all over again.
What I found out was when I migrate the website, everything is ok but once I edit the page, all the images goes wrong and when i look back at it the url is still showing localhost url. All my images in the wordpress media are showing the live server URL. Only the images in the template did not change thus causes this issue.
I want to know if the template is forbidding any tool, or settings that can change the URL during migration?

You can migrate a rt18 website only by using of the duplicator plugin as it has serialized and ecrypted data.

My product category thumbnails are not working. When I am adding product category I can upload photo but if I want to edit thumbnail on existing category pressing upload button does not do anything…

I forgot to answer your question. But sticking the columns together for one row in a page is not easy to achieve as it would require a rewrite of the column css for each viewpoint.
It is not a native ability the theme can do.

Hello, I have an issue with last version (1.9.3) of rt 18. After I install this version (i overwrite the old folder), I restored the backup template file for home page, but in desktop version I can’t see any information. The mobile version it look fine. I don’t now wath can cause this. Can you help me, please?

Please access http://www.scribsoftware.ro from desktop computer, after that from a mobile device. You will see the difference. On mobile device you can see all page, on desktop only header, slider and footer. No text and image on body section.Thank’s for helping me!
The JS minifier plugin you are using causes the issue. You can disable the plugin or try to exclude this file http://www.scribsoftware.ro/wp-content/themes/rttheme18/js/script.js

Thank’s!. The problem was caused by minify plugin. After I disabled this plugin everything works find. I thought it was a bug, but no it was a support problem. Because my support expired in march, I will pay another one. One more question: I use in home page 4 column with content box with icon, the title of this box use H3 tag, it is posibile to change to use H1? Thank’s one more time!

Second, as a long time WordPress web designer I encounter the same problem with almost every theme: missing translation for my client’s language, which the don’t want to pay extra. Since English is no longer the only language of the Internet, I bet you’ll have an even greater success with your themes if you include translations at least for the most common languages. Think about it! If you like the idea, I can provide you with translations for French, Italian and Spanish languages at a fair price. I’ve already translated quite a few theme so I know what I’m doing very well. What do you think?

I have a problem that i cant click on the “edit” button in the template configurator. So i cant edit the pages. Delete and cloning button works. I can also change nothing in the option three. Do you know how to fix this issue?

There are no issues in Edge on my computer editing a template. Try and use chrome, Firefox or IE 11. Does that work for you? If not you probably have a conflicting plugin.

Hi. I Try Chrome. Edge. Firefox. All can not edit and delete. only the clone and export are working ok. I had follow the steps on the RT forum. but no luck
