Hello, I just bought this theme (it might be the most beautiful theme I have come across so far!) and actually have the same question as the user Cobscreator a while ago:
How do I get the design of posts from the Crafts demo, specifically the framed titles of single posts on the blog page: https://s7.postimg.org/qi4wlbnff/crafts_title.png but also designs from the Make Up demo, like the sidebar headers?
I’m not sure how to pick and select all the design variations from the demos, or rather how to implement them.

Hi godfrina, unfortunately you can only choose one style from the demo now, for install the demo we’re already provided one click demo installation on Appearance > Demo Install, after that you can choose the craft demo to install

Hello again, thanks for getting back. I’ve been clicking about in the meantime and found some answers – however, maybe you could clarify:
I really like the category widget, but you can only add the background pictures in newly created categories, not already existing one? Is there some sort of migration or do I have to recreate and retag every post in the specific categories I want displayed in the widget?
Also, could you tell me the exact CSS to customise the sidebar to look like the Make Up demo version (I’ve installed the Craft demo). Many thanks in advance!
hello there, category images are replaceable anytime you want. if you dont find the option to change it in edit section please use the one in quick edit section.
also about sidebar, we dont use CSS there.. can you specify whether you want the content or the color scheme from make up demo version?

Regarding the sidebar – I’d prefer the header style of the Make Up Sidebar, —widget title—-, instead of Craft one, widget title and the ~ underneath, if that is understandable? Would it be simpler to use the Make Up demo? I would have to reconfigure all the changes I’ve made so far, I believe?

Hi, I can’t seem to change my default theme (Art) to Craft. I did all the steps recommended here – Import Customizer and uploaded craft.json but the theme is still Art. Can you help? Thanks!

Hi Love the theme! I have translated the theme via Poedit, but I have a small problem. The Subscribe, archive and search-button is displayed correctly, when I have chosen all three, but when I remove the subscribe button, the other two dissapear into the margin. The site is www.droemmefanger.com
I’ve decided to keep the subscribe button, so nevermind

hi sorry for the late reply, you dont need to do code works with the theme except when you want to add more feature/functionality to the theme. if you are happy with the design and just want to change colors/font or the available options you wont need coding knowledge at all.

first of all you can install the fashion demo first using the demo installer see : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAPI-D-G_U0
after it finished go to appearance -> customize. navigate to “general layout” and choose “standard” for blog layout and “List” for archive layout. finally navigate to “featured area” and choose “single fullwidth” as your slider style.

that’s not possible. it’s a limitation from WordPress, where you can only choose one by one.
Hi! – How can i format a row in the widgets area to span more than 1 column? I have 3 columns widgets in the second row, then 2 columns in the third and fourth row. I would like to have the third row with only one column spanning the whole row for my news letter signup form. Thanks!
hi unfortunately you cant do that, the front page template is predefined to always have
1st row = 1 column,
2nd row = 3 column,
3rd row = 2 columns,
4th row 2 columns,
and 5th row 1 column.
The page load time from one page to the next is slow. Is there any way to fix that?

hi its in the “functions” folder of your theme installation. remember to overwrite the old file there.
Hi, I want to remove the featured image from a single post but still have it display on the home page. Is there a way to do this? The featured image on the single post doesn’t work with the style of my blog as it ends up looking like the images are repeated. Thanks for your assistance in advance.
of course! just go to customizer -> post setting and check the Disable Featured Image on single post option there

Is there no way to have the featured image not actually appear on the single post but still appear on the home page? When I check disable the it removes the featured image from the home page as well.
may i know which version of applique that you use? in the latest version that option only affects the single post’s featured image. or you can share your site’s URL, so i can take a look.
hi you are still using applique 1.4, i recommend you to update to the latest version by following this guide http://daffyhazan.com/envato-wordpress-toolkit-tutorial/ to be able to use the feature and also avoid any other compatibility issue.
Ok, my site is finally up and running (wildgreensandsardines.com). Not sure if this is something you can help me with but when I do a google speed test I get the following message:Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content Your page has 12 blocking script resources and 14 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. Any advice?
hi you can ignore that message, WordPress and our theme need to use script in the content area, if you eliminate them it may cause some malfunction to some of the features.

1 – Featured Image – When we share to facebook an URL, example:

2 – Widget banner areas – After the top menu comes 3 pictures, and then we added using “widget banner” 6 banners. If you visit the website by mobile not only the banners, but also the pictures are not fitting mobile, is there a way to fix that?

I would like to have the sidebar 1) disabled on posts but 2) enabled on pages (Default Template) – how can I achieve this?
I can disable the sidebar on ‘Blog’ but would really like them to be disabled in the actual single posts, and enabled on pages.

I have the Applique child theme. Everything was fine, but I entered code into the functions PHP editor (was trying to redirect from blogger to wordpress) and now I get an error message with the Applique theme and the theme no longer works. Can you help me fix this problem.

I also have a problem with the buttons colors. They doesn’t change correctly on the comment button. The colors doesn’t change to the settings I have set. It works fine on other buttons.
