Hi jang5th, That’s correct, by placing php code directly on the website in the slides folders of warehouse, then from there further in PS, they are able to access the config settings folder of PS, thus the DB credentials and gain access to all the DB data. If you were infected, it’s absolutely vital to change at least the DB credentials (user and password) as well as the shop smtp account details. Also, rename your admin folder with a strong name combining caps, letters and special characters. Check every day that there are no pagenotfound type records in the PS connection table, especially on php pages. These are attempts to hack your php files and you must block these IP addresses in the website root htaccess file. We found many new php files placed by hackers like 12.php, ba.php, bun.php, index.php, indo.php, is.php, m.php, pler.php, t.php or yusa.php all containing hacker code (DB access, email spamming, backdoors etc). Make sure you don’t have a loginn or idx_config folders in PS which was also created by the hackers and allowed them to place new html form files asking for credit card details. Remove robots.txt file which tells the hackers were to go and rename as many folders you can and change the corresponding PS code…Hope this helps

Hello, I am still using version 3.7 because I customized it and cannot update easily. I tried to update Revolution Slider from 4.6.4 to 5.1.6 (taking the plugin from your last download).

I was able to correctly import my previous slides and slider, but I cannot see anymore the Revolution Slider modulo on Home Page.

Is there something more I need to do, please?

The module position is #1 in Header block…

Keep an eye on all php files accessed directly and trace their ip address which can be found in the PS connections table. Hope this helps others
