Qode slider allow video background, but it have to be self hosted video, and because it is slider you don’t need separate hosting for your video files since they shouldn’t be large. Beside that Layer slider is bundled with the theme, so you can use it instead. Revolution slider is not shipped with the theme but it will work just fine in case that you decide to use it.

Please note that the Frontend view for Visual Composer has been intentionally disabled since some of the added custom shortcodes require page reload because of script calculations, and due to this do not appear on the page while building with the Frontend view. The Frontend view can be used, however while building your page some elements might not display properly until you refresh the page.

You can enable it in theme files. Go to eden/extendvc/extend_vc.php and remove this code:

Mobile menu button works properly, and main slider buttons are not linked at all, we didn’t link them anywhere on our demo site.

You can ignore messages about activation these plugins, you have/get inside Plugin settings. Your plugins are legal and ready for usage.

There is an issue with jQuery after latest WP update. To fix it, please, update our theme to version 2.2.1 and update VC to latest 4.11.2.1 version. After this, please, clear all cache (browser and server) and everything should be back fine.

The css files are being rendered in this case – responsive.min.css and stylesheet.min.css

For both, you should change un-minimized files, and then to minimize them and replace this default ones.

We think it’s better to override this in Custom CSS field of your WP admin and not to change default files.

I understand the extended response because of New Years and I appreciate you responding to my initial ticket: Private Ticket #626712. After leaving the above comment here I left a second ticket as well: Public Ticket #628837.

Thank you for responding to my first ticket. As I mentioned on the ticket board in response to your request for my login and ftp info: I had no choice but to find another theme because your theme was so buggy that I couldn’t continue developing my website. I have already wasted ?days trying to get the advertised features to work properly. I purchased another theme yesterday and got farther in a few hours than I did in days with your theme.

Your theme is broken and I would appreciate a refund. I’m not into leaving negative reviews, but having experienced the horror that is working with the Eden theme I want to spare others from wasting their time and money. If a refund is issued I will note that in my review.

At this point I must recommend others to stay away from the current version (2.0.1) of Eden until it is properly fixed. Google will reveal that I am not the only one experiencing extremely slow loading time and a host of broken theme features.

Please note, options from Visual Composer, such as number of columns and their layout on various desktop screens are something that is working. We’re really unsure if you haven’t set it up properly, since there is an option to manually divide row to columns or there is some conflict with another of your plugins.
