Hello guys, We have purchased the theme and trying to set it up for some time now. There is a huge issue – somewhere in the process, course categories disappeared from the list, course pages. Basically, from anywhere except the “widget” setup. I have reinstalled the theme, at no avail. LearnPress and Events still have the categories that we have entered. Can you please help us get back on track with the website development?

Hi, I have a problem on the widgets, the contents for the footer2,3,4 dont show up at all, only footer1 that works. I’ve tried to play around but still not overcome this issue.

Hi! I’m looking for a template and I think I have narrowed it down to yours, but had a very questions before purchasing that I haven’t been able to find in the previous comments.
1- We want to launch a simple version of the site first before the training section is completed. Can we disable all course/sign-in related functions and just have a blog/portfolio style site by using those pages? Trying to avoid having to change the template and style between the first ands second version of our site.
2- For the courses, I know you have to at least scroll through the previous course to get to the next, but it doesn’t seem like you have to do anything like actually get to the end of the video (if it is a video-based course) for the content to unlock. Is this correct?
3- Is it possible to edit the style/design of the certificate?
I think those are my primary questions for the moment. I really appreciate the feedback! Great theme, by the way! Seems to be very flexible and well thought-out.

1. Yes, you can do that. In the theme packge, we include the plugin ‘Goodlayers lms’ , just don’t install it and those functions will not appear.
2. I’m still a bit confused on this one. Could you please explain more about it? Sorry…
3. We provide shortcode for certificate. You can customize it by using those shortcodes (Background, logo can be changed)

Thanks for the reply! I guess we are trying as much as possible to “make” people actually do the whole course before advancing… it’s in their best interest but people love to skip ahead! If we have a video based course, is there any way to be sure that they actually make it through the video (vs. just scrolling through the lesson page which is what I noticed seems to make the next lesson unlock) before the next is available?
Last question: When we have a live site (blog-style) and are working on getting the LMS implemented, would we need to do that work on a dev site or can we work on it and just not have it public/live on the main site? I hope that makes sense!

1. Sorry but we don’t have that feature The system can’t force to stop the “next button”.
2. You have to let your dev setup the dev site environment directly (perhaps setting a subdomain for test site, or block public accessing by htaccess.) The theme itself doesn’t have ability to set up dev site environment. It needs to be done manually by your dev.

Hi! For the last question, I wasn’t very clear. I guess I mean can I work on the LMS on a live site while keeping it in draft mode or if I need to have a dev site (yes, I understand this needs to be done manually by me) to work on that and then replace the live blog-based site when it is ready to all be up together?

Oh ok got that. Yes I think you can do that. Just don’t put any content related to course system in your live site yet. For example, you may create course page but do not put the page or any links to it from your live site. (But person who have the url can access it anyway.)

hi, now i got the plugins but when i imported the theme sample data as instructed in the Guide, I can see error as “Invalid slider ID or alias.” on the Home Page. Why this is coming?? Can you help me in this?? I am not able to see the slider on the home page.

Sorry for confusion. The buy now will process instant payment(online payment such as Paypal.) and the book now is for booking only and student can choose to pay later. Student can also choose to submit payment evidence in case they do manual bank transfer.

I didnt use this theme when I first bought it and now the support has expired. Im finding so many weird things like 2 buy bittons per product. Can you please explain how to remove 1? Its crazy confusing to have 2. Also, why dont students receive a sign up email? I would think that would be a no brainer.

My client is using this theme. In the Transactions history, there are a lot of “Pending” items in the payment column.
Can you clarify what this means? And why they’re pending / how they can pay?
If it’s an online payment(Paypay, Paymill, Stripe, Authorized.net) the status will be changed automatically when the payment processed. However, it’s if it’s a booking : http://take.ms/zUuH8 admin will have to change the status manually after checking payment evidence : http://take.ms/t5Eef Also if customers book the theme but haven’t paid yet, it will still show as pending as well.

Hi, can i add a student manually, lets say in the case he paid cash for a course or western union?
Student must register online but in course purchasing, they will have book via email and transfer money option. After student book for course, they will proceed manual payment and submit payment evidence via their backend. Hello I’m trying to figure out how to send a student back to where they left off in a course. ex) Part 1 has 5 lectures, if someone only views the first 3 lectures, how can we send them back to where they left off? The only button I see is “Start this course” which always takes the person back to Part 1, Lecture 1
If someone takes a quiz on that part, is that part then checked off when the student goes back for future parts?

2. the lms plugin will come with this theme for free (our plugins.) And Woocommerce is a free plugin too. But note that this LMS system is not working with Woocommerce. It will work separately. Our LMS plugin has its own payment system.
Sorry, but as it’s a digital download product, we can’t process the refund.(unless it will not work as shown in demo site.) You should ask pre sale questions first.
