version 1.3.6: 1) How to remove/change subtitle in header when viewing portfolio items “All portfolio items from ‘All’ category”? 2) Portfolio Categories list can’t be seen because it is WHITE text. Where is setting to change this color? 3) Map Info Window Text: Clicking the marker icon opens a small text box above the marker, but text does not appear – perhaps because text here also is WHITE color? Thanks!

Hi,

we’re not able to access your site. It requires a username and password. That’s what the screenshot was for.

Thanks

Sorry – there was no screenshot at that link. covingtonbakeries.wpengine.com User: demo pass: c47ad6

Thank you! Please paste the following code in Bakery > Custom Code to fix all the issues above except making the magnify icon link to single portfolio.

.single-portfolio-item .top-section h3,
.single-portfolio-item .article-header-5 h3,
.vu_product-item .vu_pi-category {
    display: none !important;
}
.single-portfolio-item .article-header-5 h1 {
    margin-bottom: 30px;
}
.price-label .price-label-content {
    color: #fff;
}
.widget .list-arrows,
.vu_map {
    color: #684f40;
}

For the latter one we need your WordPress and FTP details to make the customization.

Warm regards

Version 1.3.6: typo in GENERAL settings: Smooth Scroll Turn on to enabale smooth scrolling. —should be “enable”

Oopsie! We’ll correct it in the next update.

Thanks for your feedback! :)

Hi, Milonga, Love your Bakery theme. We are using it for a client’s website, however we are encountering one problem.

The Shop page is displaying images at different sizes, which looks terrible. The images are not displayed in even rows (they’re showing up more like a masonry style, but it looks funky) and each image is showing up a different size. We’ve tried editing the WooCommerce settings for the image display size – we would like the image thumbnails on the Shop page to be square (perhaps 300×300 pixels). Nothing happens when we change this setting. We have also tried regenerating the thumbnails after changing this setting, but it fails every time whether we try individual or bulk regeneration – probably because the site has a large number of images.

We are stuck! Not sure what else to do…looking for a solution that is not insanely time demanding and doesn’t place a burden on the client to get us new images.

Hi,

You’re missing the ‘purchased’ badge! We first need to verify your purchase so please send us your purchase code and your WordPress credentials via our contact form. After the verification process we’ll take a closer look at the site and get back to you with the feedback.

Hello , i have installed your bakery theme , trying to configure it.First thing i would like to ask you is how can the map be visible , i have entered all the info , longtitude , latitude etc.Thank you in advance.

ok , how can the slider be shown at top of webpage?it’s only visible at footer , blog and eshop. Also please give me at least some basic info about how to use your photoshop files you sent me.I have photoshop.How can i upload for example your homepage file and adjust it to the web page.is it possible? how can i use these files?

Hello , i just figured out how to import the demo content , so i completely understand now how to proceed.

Hello,

Looks that you’ve already found the answers to your previous questions. I’m glad for that. Here are my comments:

  • You can place the slider anywhere by using Revolution Silder shortcode.
  • Photoshop files include can be used in case you wan to make design changes of the theme but the procedure for that is a bit complicated and takes more time.

Best regards

I want to translate some terms in the theme, like SHARE, and the ORDER FORM. How can i translate it? Thanks.

Hi Marcus,

You can choose to use the .pot file provided in the languages folder or translate them manually by editing wp-content/plugins/bakery-cpt/shortcodes/order-form.php and wp-content/themes/bakery/includes/vu-functions.php files.

Cheers!

I am unable to see the theme updations so how can i correct thet button

You can get the latest theme version by downloading the installable WordPress file from the your Downloads page.

I previous asked the question below:

Hi Support, am running Bakery version 1.1.2 and tried up update to the recent version. Ended up killing off half the site and messing up the products through woo commerce. Can you please advise the best approach to get Woo commerce working via a cart integration

Regards

I was asked to provide the URL however can seem to see any reply option so responding here

The URL of the site in question is ’ gourmetlove.com.au’

regards

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to update to the latest version of Bakery but get the following error when I activate the new theme: ‘Fatal error: Cannot redeclare vu_products_shortcode() (previously declared in /home/gourseec/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/bakery-cpt/shortcodes/products.php:11) in /home/gourseec/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/bakery/includes/wc-addons/shortcodes/products.php on line 121”

The error occurs when WooCommerce is activated.

Please make sure to follow the steps as below:

  1. Deactivate Bakery CPT, Visual Composer and Revolution Slider plugins
  2. Activate the updated theme
  3. Finally update the plugins from Appearance > Install Plugins

Hope this helps you!

Hi Support, am running Bakery version 1.1.2 and tried up update to the recent version of 1.3.X however ended up killing off half the site and messing up the products through woo commerce. Can you please advise the best approach to get Woo commerce working via a cart integration for the current products

Hi I have purchase the theme and created website on to it there some issues i am facing please guide me best way to resolve it or if possible you can do it your self 1.When we scroll on any product on home page, it gives us three options in yellow highlight: 1) photo enlarge 2)add to cart 3)product page. But all the three symbols have no representational text next to it and the customer would not be able to make out what that particular symbol implies, especially the middle symbol. Please try and see if that is possible 2.Would also like to know if we can start the “Order No.” from #0001 instead of any random order no. like #3278. 3.When we increase the quantity of any product in cart, it does not allow us to update the cart. Please have that feature sorted. 4.When we login, the login tab still appears on the top header. Usually on e-commerce websites, it says, Hi/Welcome, Alaap. But on our website, the login function is still visible which creates confusion in the mind of customer. Following is the statement which the customer sees “Hello alaapcakecity (not alaapcakecity? Sign out). From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details.” This line can get very confusing specially when one sees this with the login function on the header. It doesnt really add to a good experience. When a customer logs in, we should have signout option on top. Post login, if we can just have a simple “Hi, Alaap” and a sign out option on top instead of login option, that will be much better.

Hi,

Please find below the answers for question 3 and 4.

  1. Please use this plugin for setting sequential order numbers for new orders.
  2. That’s already been fixed in the recent theme update. Just make sure to get the latest theme version.

The options mentioned in question 1 and 4 unfortunately are not supported by the theme. The customization is not simple and needs more time. If you’re interested, please reach us through the contact form and get a quote for the custom work related to question 1 and 4.

Thanks

hello,

I LOVE YOUR THEME. can you send me instruction on how to update my theme…im not really sure how to do it

thank you

exactly! you’ve described the procedure better than me. :)

your awesome thank you ;)

It’s my pleasure to assist you. Could you please take a sec and rate us. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, my map isn’t displaying for some reason. I’m getting an error “Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.” Can you help please? The site is http://eggsbenedict.xyz/

As you have noticed there are two demo versions included. The main difference between them is the support of shop/WooCommerce. The default demo is meant to work without WooCommerce while the other fully supports it. That’s just for you to better understand which demo you really need.

Now you should reset you database using WordPress Database Reset plugin and re-install only the demo you need. You’ll find all related options for the default demo under Bakery > Portfolio, respectively under Bakery > Shop for the shop demo.

Thanks .. will re-installing the demo delete all the custom content I’ve already uploaded?

Unfortunately, yes! All the changes you’ve made so far will lose. :(

A new   rating has been received for Customizability.

“Great theme and great support. Love to work with this theme. Keep up the good work! Cheers!”

Hi, I have purchased the latest version of Visual Composer. However, when I deactivated and deleted the old Visual Composer and uploaded the new one, it allowed me to upload it, but it still won’t work.

When I try to activate it, it says this: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare vc_parse_multi_attribute() (previously declared in /home1/forgood1/public_html/wp-content/themes/bakery/includes/vc-addons/vc-functions.php:4) in /home1/forgood1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers.php on line 898”

I realize my support has expired, but I didn’t have a need to use it once in the first 6 months after purchasing this theme. I’m hoping you can help me figure this out without having to pay to renew for an entire 6 months just to answer one question. I have to launch this site soon for my client and they have taken much longer to get to the launch process than originally planned, hence the 6 month support expiration.

Thank you.

You can use also Envato WordPress Toolkit. Check this article for a step-by-step procedure on how to update your theme with the Envato WordPress Toolkit.

Warm regards

I figured it out. Thank you so much for your help!

You’re very welcome! Don’t forget to rate us! That’d be greatly appreciated. ;)

Hello, Great theme!!! I only have a small issue with the map. she appears for a second and then disappears, leaving this message :

Petit problème… Une erreur s’est produite Google Maps ne s’est pas chargé correctement sur cette page. Pour plus d’informations techniques sur cette erreur, veuillez consulter la console JavaScript.

Any idea on how to fix it, please?

Hello,

Prior to June 22nd, 2016 usage of the Google Maps APIs requires a key and we will correct this in the upcoming theme update.

For now you can generate a key and insert it manually in the theme files. Go to ‘wp-content/themes/bakery/includes/vu-actions.php’ file, line 25 and replace:

//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.exp

with the following:

//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?v=3.24&key=YOUR_API_KEY

Thanks

Hi,

I am having some issues with the Visual Composer. Whenever I try to update my pages the Visual Composer starts loading and eventually stops but nothing happens? Can you please help me, since as of now I’m not able to do any updates to my page other than in de code itself, in which I’m not really an expert.

Kind regards,

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

Please make sure you have the latest version of Visual Composer installed. The latest theme version (v1.3.5) includes the latest version of VC as well. Simply update the theme to get it.

Otherwise, you can send us via here your WordPress credentials so we can look at your issue from a closer perspective.

Thanks

Did you try to install it from Plugins > Add New menu item? Are there any issues happening during the plugin installation?

Hello, I purchased your theme and liked it very much. My Visual Composer has not updated since version 4.6.2, and I cannot make changes to my site. I posted a comment on here stating this and I was told that composer was included with my purchase, but every time i try to update it states “An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer.” My domain is www.bcdelights.com. When I click on settings, it states that I dont have permissions to access the settings. Please help.

Hey there,

You should update the theme to the latest version (v1.3.5) which includes the latest version of Visual Composer. After you update make sure to deactivate and delete the current version then install the new version from Appearance > Install Plugins.

If you do not want to update the theme you can decompress the zip from the latest theme version and update just js_composer files.

Best regards
