No it doesn’t – we recommend using the included Variant Page Builder for this use instead, it lets you easily change images, text, colours etc. That way you can construct a live mockup for clients
In the Isotope portflio, the filtering links are created automatically.. Is there any way to create them manually.? I want the order of the links in a specific way.. Thanks

Yes you can disable the auto-creation of the filter links by removing lines 187 – 202 of scripts.js

What do you mean exactly by setting element modal? There are instructions in the documentation for how to use modals as well as the demonstration on the elements-modals pages for how they work.

Though I had a few doubts, it would be a great help if you could clarify these.
1. I was currently using the builder on my iMac and had saved few pages on it. Then I had to shift to a windows laptop and the builder doesn’t show those saved pages that I transferred to it anymore. Does the builder not allow to save and resume work on a different machine? It doesn’t seem to work on a macbook as well, or in an incognito browser.
2. I also checked the pages i made on other browsers and systems, and found the font was not consistent somehow. Does this have to do with the OS?
3. I even observed layout changes on windows machine with the same screen size as opposed to a macintosh.

1. You’ll need to export your pages as .variant format, then reimport them on your new machine (there is cloud saving service or similar)

Hi there,
You can add these into the page via <meta> tags at the top. Foundry is pure HTML so it has all the SEO capabilities of any other HTML template.
You would need to add the tags into your output page after the builder.

Hi, there appears to be no page generated by the search function. In other words the search element isn’t working properly for me. I get the “type here” prompt, but when I type something in and hit enter, it just remains on the same page. I don’t see anything in particular that would correspond to that in terms of code in the files I have either.

Given that Foundry is an HTML template – there is no built-in search function. You would need to integrate it with your desired search provider such as Swiftype

1. No you’d need to add a rule inside custom.css to adjust the logo size (this will take affect in Variant too though)
2. Yes, you can add this to custom.css
.inner-title.hover-reveal .title{ opacity: 1; transform: none; -webkit-transform: none; } .inner-title.hover-reveal:before{ opacity: 1; }

Hallo, I have solved the problem of trasparent NAV which looks white in downloaded package. There is an strange whitespace (looks like simple space but is not) on line 1504 in fie theme-purple.css. It disables the CSS rule nav.transparent {... if you delete it, problem is gone.
Same problem in all of theme-xxxx.css files and in theme.less… same solution works.

Did you register your own API key and client authorisation code? We’ve had some instances of people’s generated API keys being nullified and they had to generate another to get the feed working again.

Yes I did. There is one idea. Registering, I pointed out a client domain. But i’m working on the test site. And the feed has disappeared. This may be the reason?
This may be the issue – the API has become a lot more picky with how it deals out requests. Try switching the domain to your test one temporarily perhaps

Is instagram feed working properly with everybody? May be I should try to register site for the third time?
And one more question. How can we change the background color of the drop-down menu to white? And the font to black.
The feed is working, though the process can be a bit tricky. Are you attempting to display the feed of the account that you registered the client ID with? For example: you can’t use your own accounts credentials to show someone else’s account on their website. (I’m not sure if this is your case, just trying to narrow down what the issue might be).
For the dropdown, add this to custom.css: .menu > li ul{ background: #fff; } .menu > li ul li a{ color: #222; }

Insta feed is making me crazy. I entered instagram developer site and saw my client was disabled for some policy reason (?). Ok. I deleted it and registered site for the third time. Replaced ID and token in scripts.js. Changed data-user-name in html. Not working (
Then i created test html from latest version of Foundry. And uploaded it on test site with yours default instagram settings. And even your feed is not showing…. May be there is another reason….

Forgive me if this was already discussed, but I found an issue with the portfolio-single-5.html file. On my iMac, it renders nicely on Safari, FF and Chrome …no issues. On my PC it only works correctly on IE. For Chrome and FF on my PC, the third image is pushed to the first column leaving a blank space in column 3. I’m running the latest release of all browsers on both machines. I tested this on a third PC with the same results. For mobile devices, both my iPad mini and Android are fine …it’s a full-width desktop issue. I’m currently using the latest version of Foundry (1.9.6)

Hello, I have some pre-purchase questions:
Does the Variant Page Builder only work online or do we get to download the app after purchasing the theme? Is it possible to update the site offline? Do we get the warranty that we will be able to use the builder 2 years from now, to still update it?

Yes you get Variant in the download package, and you can run it locally from your machine. As for warranty, you get support for 6 months but are free to use the builder any time down the track. Just keep a copy of the files

The testimonials slider works by swiping gesture on mobile, the arrows and paging buttons are hidden as they add clutter on a smaller screen.

In the builder you’ll need to add the blocks for the page one by one (I know this is not ideal, we’re working on a better solution to this). Or if the page is perfect, you could simply use the .html file and change your content.
