How can I change the hamburger menu background color and hover states on the mobile menu? my domain is www.msmle.com
Replace your includes > custom-stylesheet.php with https://gist.github.com/contempoinc/97aa9da60b8146209c5ce5d7d0e260b4 and you’ll be all set, this fix is coming in a big update I have I’m just testing/finalizing some things before its released. Once you’ve done that the Secondary Background Color from the Create a Skin panel will be used for it.

Quick question. I do understand there is an alternate title field.
However, for ease of use, is there any way I can write something like “302 2nd Street, Unit 102” (with the unit number) where it doesn’t throw off the longitude and latitude. I noticed if I add a unit/apt number it throws it off. I take it out and the logitude and latitude are correct. Thanks.
Unfortunately that’s all in what Google Maps API interprets as the address for that street and unit number (out of my control), now you could manually update the latitude and longitude if you wanted.
I figured as much. Just double checking. Thanks.
Walk Score question. The themes integration of the Walk Score api doesn’t include the map of what is nearby, does it? Just the score. The free api does include the map of what is nearby, or at least from what I read. Thanks, just confirming to make sure that I am not missing something.
WalkScore actually only lets you link out to their site so when a user clicks on the WalkScore from the listing they’ll be directed to their page with all the appropriate information.
However I’ve also integrated Yelps API for “What’s Nearby” as an option you can see the demo here, and also how to set it up http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#whatsnearby
Thanks for your purchase!
Thanks for the information. From their documentation it makes it look like you can embed maps.
Yes, but not with the API they unfortunately limit it to only the score and the ability to link out to their site, you could embed maps manually on your listings if you wanted.
Thanks. Embedding on a case by case basis is not a bad idea as we don’t have huge volume. I was also looking at trying to pass your longitude and latitude fields over to the embed, but it is an iframe so maybe not posisble.
every time I try downloading the theme it takes me to another page saying “page not found” why is this happening?
Are you referring to http://themeforest.net/downloads area or are you talking about uploading to your WordPress admin?
Sorry, uploading to wordpress. I’ve tried multiple times… This is the only theme that won’t work.
Sounds like you’re trying to upload the entire main zip you got from Themeforest and not just the realestate-7.zip, checkout the instructional video and written documentation I’ve put together http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#installation
If that’s not the case and you’re uploading the realestate-7.zip it sounds like maybe your server upload and timeout limits are really, really low as the zip is only 45.8MB.
I’m uploading the right file, the realestate-7 zip. I changed the max file size on my server already and it still does not work.
I’d recommend uploading it via FTP then.
Chris, on the ‘search results layout’ with ‘side by side’ when you hover over a property how do you make the pinpoint on the map change colors or do some type of effect to show where that property is on the map?
Unfortunately that’s not a feature of the theme (as of now) and isn’t something easily done takes a lot of code to accomplish something like that.
I am having an issue with the mobile menu not scrolling all the way down. I have deactivated all non essential plugins and still nothing.
Odd, if you could post up the URL (I can take a look real quick) or open a ticket on the support site with your admin information and URL we’ll get that sorted out for ya. Thanks for your purchase!

Another Happy RE7 Buyer!
Chris, I’m using the vacation rental theme for my property management company. Is there a function, or plugin, that I can allow the guest and owner to login and see their respective info? Guest can see info about their booking and payment and Owner can see upcoming bookings, revenue etc…
This honestly all depends on the booking plugin you’re using, are you using the free one packaged with the theme?
Currently I just have the free one that came with the theme. However, I’m willing to change and/or pay if need be to get this functionality. Any suggestions?
Gotcha, yeah the paid Multi-User version of the same plugin (with a ton more features) would be what you need if you’re looking to have a separate panel for each user, agent, etc…checkout http://wpbookingcalendar.com/features/
However keep in mind you’re not tied to using that plugin you can use any booking plugin you’d like as long as it supports shortcodes.
I am really dissapointed by your support service! Why I must wait like 2-4 days for responds on my tickets?
This is definitely not the case the one ticket Hina is already working with you on, both were opened under two days ago. The other ticket you’ve replied back twice after opening without a reply from one of us which bumps your ticket back to the top of the pile which means it’ll be answered later and later each time this happens as they’re all answered in the order received. I’ve brought the other new one and your previous to the attention of Hina she’ll be getting back to you shortly, thanks for your patience.
I can’t publish any content on fontpage without pagebuilder when I save template as “Home”. How is possible to publish content in front page without pagebuilder – saved as “Home” template? Thanks
Please see the “Manual Homepage Setup” in the “Installation” section of the documentation http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#installation, thanks for your purchase!
Reply please #835016 and #835672, thank you.
I’ve brought them to the attention of my support staff, keep in mind all tickets are answered in the order received. Thanks for your purchase and patience.
I’ve brought them to attention of my support staff Hina, one of them she’s actually already working. Thanks for your patience and purchase.
Hi Chris, I just replied to your comment on the support site. My ticket number is: #830331 Thanks.
I’ve let Hina know, thanks for your patience.
Thanks I’ll get back to you shortly.

Hello, Thank you for your very good theme. I have a big problem with the search feature :
1- The search feature doesnt work. When you click on the “Search” button, you are redirected to the homepage with no results. Could you explain me why ? Do I need to create a special page ? You can try to search here : http://www.acrg.fr/rechercher-votre-bien-immobilier/
2- The CT Listings Search widget is not very beautiful. How can I manage the field of the research ?
Thanks a lot for your help
Please can you support me ? It’s very important. The search function doesnt work on www.acrg.fr
First thanks for your purchase!
- That’s because you’re not using the proper Home page template, please see http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#installation “Manual Homepage Setup”
- Not quite sure I’m following here, do you mean you want to modify its CSS? If so please see http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#childthemes “Find any CSS property, Quickly & Easily”
Ok thank you, how to use the “page builder 1” block for the homepage ? Because I cant configure the revolution slider block for example. It doesn’t find the alias, I dont know where to put it. Can you explain me pls?
No probs, checkout http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#homepage that explains all the functionality of the homepage.
It’s ok now. Thank you
Sure thing, glad to help!
my nav menu is all messed up since upgrading the theme… could you take a look? i’m also getting the api error.
www.northforkrealestate.com
Hello, I have a problem with google maps, the map is not loading and the console shows these problems https://goo.gl/T2xU37, I tried to add an api key but it does not work. The map is only showing when there are few properties so I dont know what the problem is. The website was working, the last change I made was add latitude and long for each property (more than 2000). Any thoughts?
That error is due to you exceeding the free API keys maximum calls, you’ll need to purchase a plan from Google if you have that many listings checkout https://developers.google.com/maps/pricing-and-plans/.
what is the code I should change in the CSS to make the Title Header smaller on each page so that it doesn’t take up so much of the top of the page.
For Example on the “Listings” page, the bar with the title is thick and just want to make it a bit thinner.
Thanks.
You would use the below where the 80px represents the top & bottom padding:
.page .dark-overlay { padding: 80px 0;}
For future please see http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#childthemes > and the “Find any CSS property, Quickly & Easily” section.
Sorry where do I edit that?
You can add that to Real Estate 7 Options > Custom CSS
That’s what I thought, thank you, just wanted to double check.
How can I make sure my website loads the correct look and doesn’t squish things or resize too much when loaded on different resolutions?
Also, how can I make it that on the mobile version my logo is smaller? It’s getting cut off slightly for me. Thanks.
Its already tested and designed to work on everything from desktop to tablet to mobile. You would need to use media queries to target that specific device something like this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
img.logo { width: 150px;}
}
All the media queries for the theme are located in css > layout.css > starting from line 1108 https://cl.ly/2V1x2j3X2S2p, however keep in mind you don’t want to modify the parent theme files you’ll want to create a child theme real quick via the generator in the admin, see http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#childthemes then add your custom CSS & Media Queries via its style.css.
Thanks for your purchase!
And that code will target specifically my logo on the website and make it smaller? For example making the width: 130px ? That’s all I change and it will fit better? Thank you.
Yes, for any device with a max-width of 479px or lower which would Mobile Portrait.
and sorry I place that code in the Custom CSS section of the RE7 Options?
Yes, that’s correct. Or in a child theme style.css if you’ve created one.
Doesn’t seem to be changing at all when I apply it. The logo remains the same size. No width or height reduction.
If you could open a ticket on the support site post the number here and I’ll take a look real quick.

URGENT
I am unhappy with the support. The problem with the Portuguese accent letters(áóí, etc) continues. Your theme is suppose to be able to be Multi Language but It’s NOT. I tested FREE themes and they work perfectly with Portuguese words. I need a solution soon because I have an deadline to finish it and because I paid for your theme.
You need to choose a Google Font that has support for those characters please see https://fonts.google.com/ then see the sidebar area and choose proper language subset https://cl.ly/123v1L2z2u3K then note the name of said font go back to the theme and choose said font in the Real Estate 7 Options > General > Heading & Body Font options.
It was what I did…....Please see: https://s31.postimg.org/mdu2koeaz/gold.png https://s31.postimg.org/83bs197wb/gold2.png
If you could please open a ticket on the support site and we’ll take a look, if the proper font is chosen like I see in your screenshot and the language is set properly and has been translated with the proper characters they’ll show on the front end of your site, now if the proper characters aren’t used when translating or entering content then they won’t be automatically used keep that in mind.
Please see the ticket
Whats the ticket number?

I created 2 slides on the slider “Accueil” for the homepage.
The both slides contain an image with the same size 1500×1138 px but the first slide is well displayed covering all the screen and the second slide is more little and it doesn’t cover all the screen.
How can I do ?
What I did wrong ?
I’m only seeing one slide when viewing your site http://www.acrg.fr/ that was created with Slider Revolution, did you remove it?
What I’d recommend is using one of the many slider templates/imports that come with the theme, I’ve also got a new one releasing can see it on the Minimal Child Theme demo here, if you’d like I can supply you with a download link for that.
