Yes, you can customize inner pages the way you want. In regard to the single post page you can fully customize header section by changing its background to a different color or image, color of the text, page subtitle and breadcrumbs style.

As for the individual blog posts, you can customize header style and typography from general theme options panel. You can also customize layout for single post (no sidebar, sidebar on left, sidebar on right), post and sidebar style, choose different format for the posts within single post settings.

Hi, I just came across your template and thought it looked amazing! I have a few questions, because I’m considering to buy it.
1. Do you have a demo for videos on portfolio pages? 2. Can you showcase a video through the portfolio grid by clicking on it; zooming it in? (The same way as an image does right now.) That would work great as my work involves a lot around video and my focus now is to build a one-page website. 3. Is it possible to change the color of the navigation bar to something other than white and black? 4. Is it also possible to make the navigation bar move along with the screen on mobile devices? 5. Say I have a video or image which I want to showcase on the top of my site (on the foreground of the header for example), is that possible?

1. No, we don’t have video portfolio demos, but we’ll try to add them in the nearest time.
2. At the moment there is no such feature, but it’s a good idea, so we will add it in the next theme version.
3.The color of header section can be changed with custom CSS. Our support team will gladly help you to make needed changes.
4. We specially disabled sticky header on mobile devices. But if you need this feature, our support team will help you to enable it too.

Hi, thanks for the swift answer! I have 2 more questions.
1. Is it still easily possible to create video portfolio items? (If yes, could I create a thumbnail for the video item to use on the portfolio grid?)
5. My mobile device can unfortunately not run video backgrounds. Would I be able to use an ‘alternative background’ if the video background is not working? Kind of the like having a video/image tag with two sources, where one browser will use the second source if it can’t handle the first.

1. Yes, of course. You can easily create video portfolio with available portfolio options, which you can see on this screenshot http://prntscr.com/bx70l3 On the portfolio grid pages there will be displayed an image that you set in the Featured image box http://prntscr.com/bx7278
2. Unfortunately, none of the mobile devices support video auto play function. But it is possible to show cover image instead of the video on mobile devices, that you set in the row settings.

Im trying to import demo data and the import process stuck and never finish. I already tried in my lap with out firewalls and in a server and is the same. I install the last version of WP and later a installed the Polo theme and plugins and activate them and later I did the import.

Probably there is small limit for max_execution_time on your server, during which demo data cannot be imported completely.
Could you , please, send us the following details to our email info@crumina.net :
- link to your site; - your Wordpress admin login and password; - FTP access details; - and name of the demo you would like to import.

Thanks, the solution was increment the max_execution_time.

If this is good – I am buying this theme as a previous customer too

Thank you for pointing to this issue !
There must display recent portfolio items under the categories. This issue occurred only on some portfolio styles and if there was installed some browser plugin, like Adblock etc. We just fixed this issue and items are displayed again. Please, clear cache of your browser and check the page once again.
The fix will be included to the upcoming theme update.

Great – I see some content now. Is it possible to add text over the image to give the person browsing the site an idea of what the project is about? A header and paragraph style would be good – I guess if this is not a feature, it could be added with a child theme and custom fields? Please let me know.

Polo is highly customizable theme. You can use any magazine or blog layout available in it. All of them are fully editable and you can combine modules the way you need.
In regard to the ranking feature, if you mean sorting news by number of views and popularity etc, this can be achieved only with help of additional plugins.
But if you need it as a core theme feature, we’d recommend you to turn your attention to News Category on Themeforest.
