Hi There, We’re setting up a property portal, mainly using XML feed imports.
Are we able to set prices and collect fees automatically? And also limit the amount of properties uploaded via the xml import for each client? ie..
Basic – €50 pm – 50 properties Medium – €100pm – 100 properties Top – €200 pm – unlimited properties
Basically be able to create packages & automate the payment side.

I don’t currently have a way to purchase packages/limit the amount of listings automatically that would have to be done manually when doing the imports. However I am in the process of developing a full membership system that’ll allow for the creation of packages and limits.

Definitely not my theme, however there’s really no need for a separate app as the theme is 100% responsive.
Hi I like your theme, the support and the great reviews. Just one thing. We run a self catering agency and have a large website based on SEO. We know want a new site for all our expensive holiday homes. One of the issue we had was people did not know how to enquire. And fixed it by having the enquiry form in their face. I also like this theme http://preview.themeforest.net/item/javo-home-real-estate-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/12590130?_ga=1.228645788.1699210378.1469868139 and one of the reasons for is the contact form on the right that stick while you scroll and it pops up when you click it. Any ideas on how to get the same for your theme?

One last question: When I created my first WordPress site it was a WordPress multisite install. Now I am stuck with it. Would this theme work on a multi install?

You should have no issues using this on multisite. In regards to adding more fields to the single-listings.php template that can be done without th a child theme of you could please open a ticket on the support site.

The switcher will only be shown if you’re using the WPML, since it’s a multi language plugin.
Correct , but I am hiding my second language ATM, still I can read the first language in the switcher. I suppose you implemented somewhere in the theme,: <?php do_action(‘wpml_add_language_selector’); ?>
Ok easiest would be to hide it with some CSS use the browsers developer tools to find the class/ID then simply use display: none; and you’ll be all set.
Hello, I stopped getting update notifications about a month ago. Are you still sending out emails when the theme is updated?

Right, I didn’t get any email notifications for any of those updates since version 2.3.2
Those update notification emails are automatically sent from Themeforest I unfortunately don’t have any control over them, make sure you have notifications enabled.

All but one of those ”Extra Profile Information” which was missing the “contempo” text domain (got that fixed) actually come from WordPress itself and not my theme or plugins.”

Looks like someone has made some modifications to author.php which is adding the “first” class every two listings and not every third so its causing it to break. I’d recommend grabbing the original author.php https://gist.github.com/contempoinc/beef9c8162a4f393d0933bb08189698a and replacing yours, then you should be all set. Thanks for your purchase!

Need help to resolve another problem. An agent has uploaded some properties of which some I have set as Featured on the home page. Her properties have not been assigned to any Broker but I am seeing a Brokered by…... tab at the end of her Featured property. How can I correct this?
Her other properties that I have not set as Featured are fine in the Agents List. Only those set as Featured are showing a Brokered by…...tab. Eg.. here http://www.mybarbadosproperty.com/author/jleacock/

Hi. I noticed you have an embed virtual tour field. Is this geared towards a particular virtual tour service?
Also as a side note and something I thought was cool, and on a previous topic. I tried embedding the full walk score map in this field. It works! Although, I would need to change the title from Virtual Tour, but good to know as an option.
It can be used for any Virtual Tour service that outputs embed code, just copy/paste it in and you’re all set. Ah, yeah that’s because its just a simple textarea so it’ll output any code you add to it. Thanks for your purchase!

You would be better off using a CRM or Custom Relationship Manager plugin for something like that, checkout https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/crm-business-tools/, those are easily integrated.

Just a heads up WP Smush is not compatible with this theme it causes all kinds of issues, I’d recommend using https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/ its a mush better plugin.

Hi, I got a google map API, put it in the field, and now I am getting this error: Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

That’s usually displayed if the API key you have isn’t properly registered for that particular sites URL, go back to https://console.developers.google.com and check the details. Thanks for your purchase!
So, I’m using the Google Static Maps API and the API is valid and I left the referrers section blank.

Me again…switched to the server key. Now the home page map is a blank space (no error) and the big map is a blank space with the spinny gear thing.
There doesn’t seem to be any documentation on the Google Maps API key other than “get one and put it in this box”...

Sorry misread that as “its working”, reading through a little fast — that’s honestly all there is to it generate a key for your specific sites URL via https://console.developers.google.com copy/paste that key into the options field. Nothing more than to it, if you have any non-required plugins enabled (anything not packaged with the theme) disable them and test.
I’m not using any other plugins. I still can’t get it to work. How can I get some help on this? Do you have a paid support option?

Is there a reason that media search doesn’t work with this theme?
The theme actually doesn’t have any specific functions built into it that would affect the media library search.

But are you saying that the “search” field doesn’t work in Wordpress by default when inserting a file into a post from the media library? Because that’s all I’m doing. I’m just trying to search for a file I’ve already uploaded (to update the site with a custom logo), but when I use the “search” field to find it in the “media library” tab, it returns no results.
I’m saying that the backend media library search shouldn’t be affected by anything in the theme specifically as it doesn’t have any functions built in that would interact with it.
Well, something in the theme is causing the media “search” function to not work. I have verified this using these tests:
• WP Pro Real Estate 7 theme active AND plugins active = search doesn’t work;
• WP Pro Real Estate 7 theme active AND all plugins deactivated = search doesn’t work;
• Twenty Sixteen theme active AND plugins active = search works;
• Twenty Sixteen theme active AND all plugins deactivated = search works
So, when the WP Pro Real Estate 7 theme is active, the media search function does not work. Otherwise it does.
I’ll have to do some research on this today and get back to you.
Think I’ve found the issue and got it resolved, replace your realestate-7 > admin > theme-functions.php with https://gist.github.com/contempoinc/500771dc4cad4596b377c874858b527b and test for me if you could. I tested locally and the media library search worked properly.

Whats the ticket number? Actually you’ll need to fix that by unzipping and uploading the theme folder via FTP http://contempothemes.com/wp-real-estate-7/documentation/#installation looks like the Envato API timed out or gave you a broken download so files are missing, which are causing the errors you’re seeing. Super quick fix though just manually upload via FTP and you’ll be all set.
