I currently have Version: 1.6.2 of the theme. There are updates to Woo Com from 2.6.1 to 2.6.4 and updates Formidable 2.2.3 to 2.2.4. Will everything work if I just updated the plugins and not the theme to the newest version?
Hello, it’s possible but I don’t know for sure because we haven’t tested with an old version. I’m confident that the newest version of the theme will work with those updates. We are at version 1.6.5. I’m also feeling confident about your version working with the updates too but I can’t say for certain. Please always make a backup. I hope that helps.

I am looking for a theme for bungalow rental.
Here is the scenario:
I have a bungalow which has 8 rooms.
Guests can boom the whole bungalow or any number of rooms for the date.
If a guest books the whole bungalow, anybody else can not book the whole bungalow or any room.
If a guest books the 2 rooms in the bungalow, anybody else can NOT book the whole bungalow BUT CAN be able to book any other rooms from the remaining 6 rooms.
If a guest books the 4 rooms in the bungalow, anybody else can NOT book the whole bungalow BUT CAN be able to book any other rooms from the remaining 4 rooms.
same for any other number of rooms.
And it should be shown on the calendar (number of rooms available for the date, number of rooms occupied for the date). when a booking is made the booking calendar should be updated automatically.
Can I do this create a system like this using your theme?
Is there any demo for backend/admin panel?
Hello and thank you for your interest. Thank you for your detailed question. This is a unique scenario so I don’t think it can be automated but certainly you can manually update the calendars to reflect this. The calendar does support an auto-pending feature but i won’t merge multiple calendars or have multiple calendars talk to each other to coordinate availability like that. You can always use a plugin that supports this or a service like Checkfront or Schedulicity. Have you tried WooCommerce Booking? or the Pinpoint calendar plugin? Cheers!

I would really appreciate if you could answer this question concerning a use case i need :
is it possible when creating a booking form for a specific room to allow customers to order and pay for extras.
For example somebody wants to book a room for 3 nights and during the booking process, i’d like to suggest : A prestige breakfast that costs 10$ per night A driver who will pick the customers up and drive them back to the airport when their trip is over for 60$ (for the whole booking)
So in total : 3 x $100 for the room 3 x $10 for breakfast 1 x $60 for transport
$300 + $30 + $60 = $390

Thank you for the clear question. This sort of extras is not possible via the booking form but you may be able to add extras during the WooCommerce checkout. We’ve covered that in an article here: https://themovation.ticksy.com/article/7343/
Also, if you choose to use a plugin that supports these features, it should work flawlessly using this theme. We’ve had several people use other booking systems inside the Bellevue Theme framework.

Hi Asimi, thanks for your interest. It’s not like a Air BnB clone but you could certainly use a WordPress Network to make multiple sites for multiples property managers. I have a problem with contents boxes in Pages or Rooms. Since I installed Polylang plugin when I save pages the don’t save the data saved in “Select by group” field. When I reopen the page the field is empty. A big problem becouse every time I open the page I must refill all fields again.
Somebody know this problem?

hello and thank you for posting your question. May I ask if you have any plugins installed other than the ones that come with the theme? If so, would you mind deactivating them and trying again? Sometimes plugins can cause conflicts. This helps us narrow it down and hopefully it’s a simple conflict.

Hello! Thank you. Try adding Yoast or any SEO Plugin that allows to you add meta tags. We found that SEO plugins do a great job of creating xml maps, title tags and meta tags. I hope that helps.

Hi, I’m looking for a new theme for a tour operator site. Currently it uses Booking Calendar Medium paid plugin and WP Ecommerce but would like a theme with fully integrated booking system and assume we’ll need to convert WPEC to Woo. Do you think this theme would lend itself for tours? Currently… 1. Customer books tour and them and owner get an automatic acknowledgement email. 2. Owner approves tour in backend and client gets email template with store links to pay status in booking system is changed to pending. 3. Customer pays and owner changes booking status to paid and email voucher is sent from within booking system. There is a text area you can add custom text to for each voucher which is handy to add tour specific details about pick up instructions.
It’s mainly used for cruiseship passenger tours. Owner also sells tours to non cruiseships and a few tours abroad. Along with rental vehicles which use a form or go to partner portal for bookings. 4. We need to be able to book multiple people on same day for multiple tours with option to block dates out when tours get full. Could we do this? 5. Each booking calendar has it’s own booking form. Could we do this? 6. Is it possible to have a voucher email template to send to customer once payment received? 7. If so would this be just one template or could one be done for each tour? 8. Hello and thanks for your interest. I think the bundled booking plugin, WP Booking System is more suited towards booking small accommodations and small hotels. Yes it does support linking with WooCommerce. Here is an article explaining how it works. https://themovation.ticksy.com/article/7980/
It think a better option is to use this theme with PintPoint booking system which has a free version here https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking-system/ or paid here https://codecanyon.net/item/pinpoint-booking-system-pro-book-everything-with-wordpress/2675936 – you can use their shortcodes to display their calendar system on any of our pages. You will need to research a little to see if all your requirements are met but it’s does inventory I believe.

I checked the comments, but I can’t find the answer to this yet. Is it possible to have the person choose the dates on the calendar, fill out their info, go to woocommerce for payment, then the calendar is set to booked ONLY after payment is accepted? I don’t want to have to manually confirm the booking in the backend. It should be set to pending until the payment goes through.

Hello. The booking system hands off the number of nights to WooCommerce via add_to_cart shortcode but does not pass any other info to WooCommerce.
We’ve recently added support for passing Check and and Check out dates to WooCommerce and we’ve also provided 3 additional custom fields to be used in the future.
This code is available in the child theme that we have included but you may need to work with a developer or designer to enable this and to make this work to your needs.
The plugin is developed by another company and we have requested some big updates, they are currently working on them.

Sorry, more to that. I realized that you want the status to update automatically with WooCommerce. WooCommerce does not talk to the WP Booking System like this yet. The WP Booking System can set it to auto pending so that no one else can book those days once the request is made, then Woo takes over for payment. Once the payment has been made and confirmed someone will need to go in and confirm payment then set the auto pending status to ‘Booked’. Currently that’s how it works. We’ve requested some updates from the developer and this is something we would like to see too. I’ll be putting a request in. Thank.s!
Hello! Very nice work! Just one thing: slider images are not showing popperly on iPad. You can have a look at it on nosolomaderadr.com, using the password Nosolomadera00. I used the same image dimensions as the ones used in your demos but still doesn’t work. How can i fix this? Thank you very much!
Hello and thanks for getting in touch. Happy to help. When I look on paid the image looks great. How do you wish it to show? In portrait mode the image is cropped to fill the space correctly. If you would like the image to auto resize or to fit, then you may need to use the bundled version of Master Slider Pro. We include this for free.
