I see you like to mention this theme was built with “HTML5”. Where, besides the doctype, are you using HTML 5? I don’t see any modern use of tags. Not even easy ones for header, nav, content or footer. All I see is DIV soup. Please explain.

We for example use the footer tag, and other tags like article will come. Of course all older tags are still valid HTML5, so using them correctly, in fact means to use HTML5.
But HTML5 is not only about the usage of a few new element tags for semantics. It is also about different elements are used, which attributes may be used, which ones not, how CSS and scripts are included ec.
So while we are constantly working on improving the output markup, Avada is correctly implementing HTML5 just now.

It’s always hard to compare one site to another like this for several reasons, the main one is because of how each person views it. From what I see that site looks like a grid format and has nested columns. While nested columns and no column spacing can be done right now in Avada 403 via our Shortcode Generator, the Fusion Builder does not have that yet. However our next major update v5.0 will allow nested columns in the builder with a new interface. We’ll soon have some more demos to show off it’s new features as well.

I do understand that every site has combined with many little tweaked that not easy just say how its done…but I will look into the shortcode area for column spacing and see if I can get anything since I am beginner on this area. I wanted to create nicely fit home page and also masonry post and photo gallery and having a hard time creating it without adding extra plugin to WP.
I look forward to see the new update which seems like your team has worked on very much! When would that be coming out? hope not too long wait and include slider revolution update.

Hello! I like the Avada theme very much. But I have an issue with product registration. I have registered it successfully a few months ago and received two updates. But the registration somehow stopped working. It says I have the most recent version (which is not true). When I try to enter my registration data again, it says “Something went wrong”. Also check your system status and make sure the wp_remote_get and wp_remote_post is not in red.

Hello! I have checked with my hosting provider. It seems they are blocking php script connecting to the foreign servers. Please, can I know the exact URL from which the new versions of Avada are downloaded? If they unblock it, it should start working again. Thank you very much!

Hi I’m new to word press and your theme seems awesome and maybe too much for a newbie like me. lol. I’m trying to build an education site, quickly and easily and my questions thus far is are the various “themes” shown here included in this? how do they work with the fusion builder? do I have to put in a short code to use those themes? Also does fusion builder work with themes other than Avada like visual composer or site builder. Is there a way to add a member log in or log in page?Again forgive the naivety I’m new at this.

I’m checking out the demos, just a quick question… when you pull in the home page, for example, from one of the themes, if there is a Content area that I don’t need because it just would be too much on that page or a widget for example can I easily remove content areas and widgets to shorten a page and or replace widgets on them? Thanks for your response. They look good but not found anything quite right. It’s as if the banner would appear wider than the page and I suppose on just one slide rather than having to click through multiple slides. Also could you navigate just be using hover? Without click? Kind thanks

Yes, we do have default WP Gallery shortcode that works, however we do not have our custom made gallery shortcodes yet but they are planned and will be an addition to our theme soon, other than that some of our users do use plugins like Envira gallery and other famous ones.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

I had google font issue with avada theme.
When I am using Mozilla my website font are pixelated. It is fine on google chrome and opera.
