Hi, I have a slider related issue. The first slide is a vimeo embedded video followed by 3 images. The video starts on clicking but the slider goes with the video still playing on the back (voice). Is there a way to stop sliding when the video is still playing?

If you implement this probably the text will not be readable, because you will have an image as the background. Anyway, to achieve that you need to edit the single.php file (at least).

Hi. I’m interested in purchasing this theme for my business’ website, but wondered two things:
1) How does the menu deal with long page names? (eg: Author Success Mentoring)
2) Is it possible to make it so that the blog articles do not link to or show the posting user’s login username? In most wordpress themes, it will say who posted it, and even if the display name is different, hovering over the username or clicking it will reveal their login username.

1) You can try and reduce the font size or increase the menu bar width (it is a theme option)

hi pirenko, thank you for providing the nice samba theme. for me first it worked fine. i now have a problem when collapsing: large screen mode is ok, medium mode does not collapse properly, left side bar menue remains half way visible behind mini-logo. small mode looks ok. both medium and small mode do not show mini-menue icon (3 fat lines) in upper corner. i cannot remember, which samba options adjustment caused the problems. can you tell me? thanks!!

Works like a charm! Just a last help, how to active autoplay for carousel? I tried autoplay: “true” autoplay:”yes”. I will search in the main.js now. Maybe you will be faster?

I am having an issue with Row Settings. I would like for one row to be a certain color, which has already been configured in row settings and Row Type is Full Width. The issue I am facing is with margin, I believe. Overall theme background is a light blue, and the row is adding this blue to the very bottom of row color as a margin. How can this be fixed?

When you are editing the row properties there’s an option “Bottom margin”. Make it 0px.

I love the theme, except for one thing. When the menu is collapsed on an iPad, the menu bar, shrinks leaving a white area blank below it and the logo moves up and then down. I thought it was my installation, but the demo does it as well. I have the latest version installed.

Note the blank square area at the bottom right when you scroll the blog masonry page.
That is because the iPAdnavigation bar collapses and, until you stop scrolling iPad, does not refresh all the elements that are in the viewport. That gap appears only at the first scroll (it does not happen again after you scroll, because the iPad navigation bar is already collapsed).

If you install the Contact Form 7 plugin you don’t need to edit the theme files. You can add the Contact Form shortcode under Samba Options>Contact tab.
About the contact page: there seems to be a bug there. Please add the code below under Samba Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS:.samba_right_nav #contact_side {left:inherit;right:-20px;}
We will include this fix on the next theme update.

Hello I am working with your samba template for the website of a project of the ecovillage network.
I am noticing that if you place a real page in the left menu and you then place menu items underneath it, the unfolded submenu disappears right away after clicking the first menu item. Placing a empty link under the main menu item would solve this problem, but this is really not intuitive because noting happens in the screen except unfolding the menu. My client cannot accept this.
My website can be found at http://scipp.nl/v1/ . You can find the problem at the menu item “sustainable projects” I have made two test menuitems in it. When you click on sustainable projects the page reloads, the map appears, but the unfolded test 1 and test 2 menu items are folded again.
