The revolution slider is included in the theme package. You do not need to buy it. You can just install it from Dashboard >> Porto >> Install plugins. So please uninstall you personal installed rev. slider plugin and then install it from theme. After that refresh your page, You will also find ready to use sliders in theme package files Porto >> Revolution Sliders Demo. You can import sliders form here and use theme easily.

Thanks; I have deleted my purchased slider revolution and re-installed the plug-in from the Porto->Plug-in dashboard, and refreshed the page. But I cannot find Revolution Sliders Demo page as you said. Could you pls further advise? Also when I go to the Slider Revolution dashboard, I can still see the sliders that I created with the purchased version

Yes, You can create more custom sidebars from Appearance >> Sidebars. and you can place different sidebars on different pages by selecting appropriate side bar From page View Options “Sidebar”. Thanks

I think you are trying to upload the wrong zip file. There is no need to upload the plugin separately. Visual Composer is already added in the theme.zip file please go to Porto >> Plugins. If you will not get success then please contact us through our support system so we will do it for you.

Yes, I already found that setting, but I need a way to customize the text in the excerpt.

Now I’m working in a filter with css classes to show only a portion of the contents of each portfolio in the portfolio listing page, but isn’t really working yet, and isn’t the most elegant solution.

A textfield for writing an excerpt manually would be a great improvement for future versions.

Yes, you can create the sidebar as many as you can and also you can give the different title for different sidebars. And you can easily assign the different sidebars to different pages. All options are available in the theme.
