I am facing a few issues with the theme while using a pre-built website and editing it through Elementor. Below are the details: 1. Header Editing Issue (Elementor): When I edit the header using Elementor, the changes appear correctly the first time after publishing, including on responsive views. However, when I try to make further changes later, the updates do not reflect on the front end, even after publishing again. The changes still appear inside Elementor but not on the live website. 2. Cart Icon Size Issue: The cart icon size can be adjusted within Elementor settings, but the updated size does not reflect on the front page. The front-end display remains unchanged despite saving and publishing the changes.
I have tried clearing cache and re-publishing the page, but the issue persists.
Could you please help me identify what might be causing this behavior and guide me on how to fix it?

Hello, I’m building a bilingual website on my localhost using the PolyLang plugin. As you can see in the images, there’s a bottom block above the footer. I’ve created separate footers and bottom blocks for English and Turkish, but it shows the same bottom block in both languages. How can I fix this? Please help. Where am I going wrong? A detailed explanation would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support.. https://prnt.sc/uHq409oTNj9T & https://prnt.sc/HO6oJ9AQWNyf & https://prnt.sc/g8rObkhq-uM2 & https://prnt.sc/vHS5rF4u2uRm
Hello, @ercanm,
1. Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Blocks 2. Edit the bottom block 3. In the Language box (Polylang):
- Assign English to the English block
- Assign Turkish to the Turkish block
Make sure:
- They are NOT translations of each other
- Each one is a separate block with its own language
Then:
From wherever you select the bottom block:
- Select the English block for English
- Select the Turkish block for Turkish
Alternatively, please make your site live and contact us through our support system with your WordPress admin URL and login credentials. Our support engineers will review the issue and assist you accordingly.

Hi Porto, What is the recommended dimensions for products? 1000×1000? 800×800? or something different thanks
Hello, @Joaquim_,
For WooCommerce, we recommend using square product images. A minimum of 800×800 px works well, but 1000×1000 px (or larger, such as 1200×1200 px) is preferred for better quality and zoom support, especially on high-resolution screens.
WooCommerce will automatically generate the required thumbnail and catalog sizes based on your settings, which can be adjusted under Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Images.

Thanks and the recommended dimensions for posts articles? I have a shared hosting so the speed is important for me
Hello, @Joaquim_,
For posts and articles, the image size usually depends on the layout you are using. If the layout includes a larger image container, high-resolution images are recommended. Generally, a 300 × 300 image is sufficient for blog pages that use a three-column layout.
You can choose the image dimensions based on your specific requirements.

Hello
Does anyone know why the color change applied to the header top and hover/active area of the mobile menu isn’t showing up, even though it appears to be applied in the panel settings?
The new color should be #DA9100, but it’s still showing a light blue.
I’ve already cleared the cache and browsing history, but the color change still isn’t applied.
My website link is: fynsa.mx
Thanks for your help.
I tried this custom CSS without success.
Any suggestions?
.header-top { background-color: #DA9100; }
.menu-item .sub-menu { —porto-mainmenu-text-color-regular: #FFFFFF; —porto-mainmenu-text-color-hover: #DA9100; —porto-mainmenu-text-color-active: #DA9100; }
.mobile-menu .accordion-menu .menu-item .menu-item-type-post_type .menu-item-object-page .current-menu-item .current_page_item { background-color: #DA9100; }
Thanks again.
Hello, @sam-hain,

Hello Porto Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because my WordPress installation encountered a fatal error related to the Porto theme. WordPress’ recovery mode flagged the issue, and the theme settings page is currently inaccessible.
Site Information:
Website: https://belurmath.org/
WordPress Version: 6.9
Porto Theme Version: 7.7.2
PHP Version: 8.3.29
Issue Summary:
When accessing the Porto Settings page at: https://belurmath.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=porto_settings I receive this message:There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.
Additionally, WordPress emailed the following detailed error:
Error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Compiler::compile() File: /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/theme_options/save_settings.php on line 387 Stack trace: #0 /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/theme_options/save_settings.php(398): porto_compile_css(‘bootstrap’) #1 /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/theme_options/save_settings.php(181): porto_compile_css(‘bootstrap_rtl’) #2 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(341): porto_generate_bootstrap_css_after_options_save(Array, NULL, Array) #3 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(365): WP_Hook->apply_filters(’’, Array) #4 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/plugin.php(522): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #5 /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/ReduxCore/framework.php(2272): do_action(‘redux/options/p…’, Array, NULL, Array) #6 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(341): ReduxFramework->_register_settings(’’) #7 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(365): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #8 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-includes/plugin.php(522): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #9 /wordpress/core/6.9/wp-admin/admin.php(180): do_action(‘admin_init’) #10 {main} thrown
It appears that the theme is calling a deprecated or removed method (compile()) from ScssPhp\ScssPhp\Compiler, likely causing incompatibility with newer versions of the SCSSPHP library or PHP 8.3.
Request: Could you please investigate this issue and provide a fix or patch? I’m currently unable to access or save theme settings due to the error. I can provide further information or logs if needed.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
1. How can I import sections from different demos? I see no option in Porto Studio. 2. I see elements on Porto Theme website and there is “Import Post Type” however there is no tutorial how to import (video shows some instruction that is tbh unclear).
Thank you
Hello, @kmarek3,
1. If you can’t find the section you want to import in Porto Studio, you can install the theme on a test site. Then import the specific demo on the test site and copy the desired section from the test site to your live site.
2. “Import Post Type”;
Post Type Builder is a custom layout template for various post types, including Blog posts, Portfolio posts, FAQs, Events and WooCommerce Products.
And here is the detail in our theme documentation: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/type-builder-elements/

Hi,
This theme apparently has 2 security issues (not fixed in latest Porto Functionality plugin version <=3.7.2): https://patchstack.com/database/wordpress/plugin/porto-functionality/vulnerability/wordpress-porto-theme-functionality-plugin-3-6-2-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability https://patchstack.com/database/wordpress/plugin/porto-functionality/vulnerability/wordpress-porto-theme-functionality-plugin-3-6-2-broken-access-control-vulnerability
My website seems to suffer from SEO poisoning via malicious redirects (this particular xss is capable of doing this).
Can you provide a fix ASAP?
Thanks!

Only logged in users can see add to basket
Hello, @idlea,
The issue where only logged-in users see the “Add to Basket” button in WooCommerce usually stems from cache conflicts (page/server cache).
Also, please make sure you are not using the Catalog mode. If yes, then turn it OFF and check back the behavior again: https://pasteboard.co/UWPGysJ3otJW.png
If the issue still persists, then please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that our experts can check it for you on your site and help you out.

Hi – is there a simple way to convert the old ‘Header’ and ‘Footer’ options and design into the recommended ‘Template Builder’ option? one of the sites I have is still using the original header / footer options from the Porto Theme Options.
Hello, @MrADeveci,
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to convert a pre-built header into a custom header created with the Template Builder. However, you can use the Porto Studio feature to import custom pre-built headers via Template Builder → Header.
Please refer to this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/GlTcYYSPrDsF.png

Thanks, that’s helped with the header… but I can’t find the footer from the ‘Home Classic’ pre-built site?
Hello, @MrADeveci,
You can find all currently available footers in Porto Studio. If a specific footer is not listed, it will be included in future theme updates. For now, if you need to import a particular demo footer, you will need to install the theme on a test or local site, import the required demo there, and then copy the footer from the test site to your live site according to your requirements.

Hello, @mctxdata1,
You can create your own Custom Author archive page layout using Porto WordPress.
Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Archive, create the new archive page there using elements as per your requirements, and after that, apply the condition as: https://pasteboard.co/E0IrP78SYATh.png it will work for you.

Hello, @mctxdata1,
Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. Currently, you can only create and apply a single archive layout for the Author archive page.

Hi, I want to buy this theme and I have some questions.
1) Can I have multiple buy buttons for a specific product? For example price 1 regular price. and below price 2 with discount depending on quantity.
2) Can I put icons in the product filters, on the product page? (color, size), etc.
Thanks, George.

Hi P-THEMES team!
I’ve received a strange vulnerability report over Porto Theme – Functionality plugin: - WordPress Porto Theme – Functionality plugin <= 3.6.2 – Broken Access Control vulnerability (https://patchstack.com/database/vulnerability/porto-functionality/wordpress-porto-theme-functionality-plugin-3-6-2-broken-access-control-vulnerability?_a_id=110). - WordPress Porto Theme – Functionality plugin <= 3.6.2 – Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability (https://patchstack.com/database/vulnerability/porto-functionality/wordpress-porto-theme-functionality-plugin-3-6-2-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability?_a_id=110).

Hi!
They don’t appear on the WP dashboard; they appear on the server, and I can’t give you access to them, sorry. The only thing I could do is send you a screenshot of each message, but they’re the ones I’ve already shared here.
The messages specify ”<= 3.6.2,” but the Patchstack links, as you can see in them, indicate “No official fix available”. Does the latest version, 3.7.2, which is the one I have installed, contain these vulnerabilities, or have they been fixed, and the Patchstack links would be simply outdated?.
Thanks!

Is the plugin fully translated to German out of the box? All the demos only include the englisch and french language version. Thanks
Hello, @enno-und-jens,
Thank you for your interest in Porto WordPress!
Yes, Porto WordPress is fully translatable and completely compatible with both the Loco Translate and WPML plugins.
If you want to translate and use the theme in a single language, you can use the Loco Translate plugin.
If you need multilingual support, the WPML plugin is the recommended option.
