Hi, thank you for comment. We have big features list which will make BoomBox even more powerful and advanced however at this moment in the market BBPress are more popular and required by customers. We have worked a lot to integrate BBPress and unfortunately or fortunately we can’t leave this work half a way. Hi, thanks for interest in BoomBox.
1. We have major update list for BoomBox, after that we are going to improve comments section.
2. Theme doesn’t support banners or covers in header as boredpanda, however it is in our major update list, it will be added very soon. You can add banners in posts, before and after posts, WPquads integrated in Boombox.
3. Yes we have plans to add leaderboard it will be available during this 2 months.
4. Currently we are not planning to change social sharing system which we have now to version which you showed in demo, however we will consider possibility to add that.
5. Could you please write what browser and mobile device you are using? It works fine in our side. Screenshot may be helpful. Currently there are not option to change social sharing options, however we will consider possibility to add that feature.

To disable post creating functionality go to admin panel Appearance->Customize->Authentication and check “Disable Site Authentication” checkbox see screenshot For removing BoomBox community you need to do it from menu. After uploading a image into the Wordpress website, it gets “copied” in more images with different size. Is it natural behaviour by Wordpress or the theme? Can (and should?) this be turned off?

Hi, this is normal WordPress behavior, it is cropping images for devices with different screen size. You don’t need to turn of that.

Great features so far! It crossed my mind, I think it has a lot of potential.
I have never seen a viral product review feature.
For example someone or you posts a product let’s say its a book. Have a place where you write your bit and then your visitors can post their review of the book. Also have a star rating system that shows up and a button that says something cute like “I want” or “Grab it” that links to amazon. Have an option to share on Facebook as like a wish list item or something. I know on amazon you can by stuff as gifts for people and have it sent to them.
Something along these lines would be a great way to monetize the theme. Maybe even have woo commerce integrated to have on site monetization in the form of a store.

Thanks for informing, however API is matter, in case if it set not right you can have similar problems. Any way we are glad that issue is solved, let us know if you have more questions.
FYI, this is not caused by the API key. Even if I did not put any API key in there, the option was still missing. So the only option was to reinstall the WP website. Not sure why that happened.

We have a functionality to show images like shown in your screenshot ( broken one ). It means that image can not be loaded for one of these reason: broken link, image does not exists, or trying to load from external source that is not available for the moment of loading.

You can edit, see excerpt field below editor and please check if it’s enabled from screen options.
