dear @zombiemaker thank you so much for your reply, i tried to change news category’s name, and its worked, i created a news with that translated category. but when i try to change slug, its not working as you said. so im only able to change post type’s name, not slug, right?

Been asking a lot of my local business clients what they think would be great for a viral media theme. One that repeatedly gets brought up is calendar integration. This way it is a viral way to spread news,humor and events thru the local community via facebook ect. With JSON-LD they would also rank easily in google. Maybe a buy ticket button for concert and events.

This moblie version carousel (http://i.imgur.com/Czy4fj0.png) above the posts is tricky, seems to much like the post featured image. I think it’s too big for the carousel, and seems like just a part of the post.

While I’m here… Can i hide this carousel (just the mobile theme, because in the desktop version is soo cool) somehow and show instead the post featured image?

And one another question… Can i somehow show/hide featured image (per post) in the post admin panel? Because i don’t find it.

By the way… The theme is awesome, great job guys. I’m really excited about the new updates…

Well, just checked demos and 4 is a quite enough with great features supporting the main goal of a theme: build viral social blog site! Great job, guys!

@ultrasalgeria unfortunately is no possible to to change that, also you cant change the name of the page where is the shortcode of viralpress, if you edit this all the plugins stop working properly :/

As a recomendation for other buyers, Im rencently using this plugin Featured Video Plus https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-video-plus/ works great with boombox, you can set a featured video instead the featured image or is posible to open the video after the user click on the featured image.

Hope the author can add that option (play video after click on featured image) but meanwhile we can use this.

Stupid question, I can´t figure out how to put an emoji? icon? on the trending badge just like in the demo (the thunder icon)

we found a bug. When editing text in a post, when we selected “fullscreen” once we enter fullscreen it doesn’t let us exit out. In the viralpress website, it does, but in your theme, it doesn’t. http://screencast.com/t/Ggj68qSgtR

Hi, i can’t view the Reactions system in my wordpress dashboard

hello, i use boombox with viralpress, is there any way to change post type slugs? because i translate theme to my own language, and for example when i try to create a news, it says that i should create ‘news’ category before. but it shouldnt be english, i want to make it in my own language.

I also have the same error as other users have pointed out: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/boombox/includes/rate-and-vote-restrictions/vote/class-boombox-vote-restriction-trait.php on line 11

What is the fix for this? Surely it is not practical for you to login into everyone’s FTP to resolve this. I hope you can let us know the fix so we can learn and make the changes ourselves.

Hello, How to show the featured image in the detail article?

I love this theme and everything that you are doing with it, but I was wondering if you could add a feature? I have purchased UpVote on themeforest but the theme is lacking a lot in coding structure, 3rd party plugin compatibility, and support. However, the one thing it has going for it is the URL upload feature which takes the heading and main image from other websites. Here is an explanation of the themes plugin: “UpVote theme is powered by a custom-build plugin that will enable registered users to submit url (in UpVote we called it story) and the theme can automatically fetch the post title, featured image and description from the link, as long as the url support Open Graph.”

Can you implement a similar feature like this into your theme? If so, your theme will be the unstoppable. I really need this feature…
