Hi Support I’m currently out of Support, but I am stuck after upgrading my theme. Please can you help me as some settings have been lost. this should not happen as I am using a child theme On my homepage, my grid was full width and now there is a massive blue space to the right of the grid images. How can I get this back to how it was? Tony

Hi there – I’ve been using this theme for the past year. It works well for our purposes. Although retina-size images displays correctly on desktops, it seems much lower quality versions of images are displayed on smartphones when the responsive design applies (I think when width is smaller than 700px). This happens with both featured images and secondary images. Is there anything I can do to change this behaviour? Will using a plugin like WP Retina 2X help? Thanks for your assistance.

In general, correct images should be used but the problem may arise in responsive view if grid box is stretched to full width (or close enough). Then box is much larger then the image and it can result in pixelated images. If this is the case then it can be solved with a simple CSS tweak and there should be no need for a 3rd party plugin.

currently content page is a little bit narrower, but it can be adjusted with a simple CSS tweak (we can certainly help you with this).
There is Theme Setting which controls width of the right sidebar, so you can set it’s width to value you need easily.

Ubergrid is translation ready as per WordPress (and ThemeForest) standards.
There is a PO file which is used for translation and no other file has to be changed.

WooCommerce isn’t officially supported but we can provide you a few CSS snippets which should be enough for basic styling.
As for BuddyPress, we haven’t tested Ubergrid with it.

2) I’m not sure if I follow you, but if you’re talking about grid layout size of each block can be set to 1 of 3 predefined sizes or set to random size.
As for the “blog” category on our demo, image height defines the height of the post.
3) You can display posts, pages, category element (which displays latest or random post from selected category) and custom element (in which you can paste any code you wish).

I want to use WPML but when I switch language I loose part of my styling, the logo is replaced by the text version and the home page is not a grid at all. What am I doing wrong?
Hi,
when you switch language a Theme Settings panel for that particular language is loaded, so you need to make settings for that language also.
This is made this way because there are some text options, which may be language specific, and also often different logo has to be uploaded for different languages.

sorry it’s not possible to modify how social buttons are embeded without changing some internal theme files.

if you want to use grid layout for your custom post type archive a theme modification is needed (preferably by a developer).

1) Visual composer is not included, but we have our Page builder which is bundled with the theme. We haven’t tested Ubergrid with VC (I can test if you’re realy interested in buying), but I see no reason that it doesn’t work (since it loads it’s own CSS/JS files).
2) There are 3 types of grid boxes: post, category (which displays latest or random post from selected category) and custom. You can enter any HTML/JS or shortcode into it’s content (sorry, PHP is disabled for security reasons).

Hi Once again thank you for fantastic design and brilliant support. I will like to reduce the size of the text font in “read more” in the bricks, Looks like the the css-box is the easiest way to do it. But what code can I use?
Another question: Is it possible to ude grid or any alternative, that shows the post minimized on a “tag-page”. When I click on a tag all the post with the tag are displayed in full lenght. I would love to have some more overview – one way or another. regards Jan

if you would like to reduce font size of brick excerpt text you should add following to the “Custom CSS” box:

Hi, it is only the “read more” i want to reduce. I dont ude the arrow. But have changed it to letters. And they are very big. biggere than the other excerpt text. Looks like double size. I will open a ticket for the other issue. Thank you

for this “link” post format should be used (like “ATTRACTIVE TEMPLATE” box on our demo) and it can be easily modified so “read more” arrow leads to single post page.
As for the frontpage contents, there is a “Front page manager” panel which is used to add boxes to the front page and set it’s size and order.
