Hi,

I am referring to the Search Form.

My settings for Header > Search Form is Search Content Type is “Product”, why do the search results include products with the search word found in the product description? An example is when I search for “Computer” in the Search Form, the search results include both products with the name “Computer” and products with the word “Computer” in their product description – why is this so?

Also, when I have more than 10 products with the names “Computer”. However, the ajax search only return 3 results. Why is this so?

Hi,

This is the default functionality of the YITH search plugin and it gets the words from the product details as well because product descriptions is also the part of the products.

You can increase the search result count from Admin >> YITH Plugins >> Increase the Maximum number of results

Hi, I seem to be having some trouble with coding remaining consistent on a specific function. I have put flip boxes in an advanced carousel with smaller fonts for the back of the flipping box. While the first flipping boxes that show up have the correct font size, when the flipping boxes start over again in the carousel the font sizes are now a default larger size that doesn’t fit – even though they are the exact same boxes as the ones that show the correct size in the beginning (they are just starting over again). actually, that hasn’t seemed to help. I just wanted the link item (top right icon) to link to another website, but want it take me through to the portfolio page when clicked anywhere else. Is this not possible?

Hi, never used your support before but having a problem with images in the portfolio modal window for a portfolio item. When I click on a profile item and the detail modal window displays the images on the left hand side only show about 20 pixels of the top of the image. I have to click on the dots to navigate back and forth between the images to display them correctly – it looks like they are not loading properly. Any ideas?

Hi, just a feature request: Another theme I am using (Real Homes) just improved their speed in doing this: “Added performance improvement settings for JS and CSS. If JS setting is enabled then one JS file is loaded instead of thirteen JS files and if CSS setting is enabled then compressed version of various css files are loaded to optimise page load speed.” Would be nice if the Porto theme also has some improvements in speed. I am always testing with pingdom, GTmetrix and others and there could be many improvements in speed (JS + CSS). Thanks.

This is the only layout option for the Header means this is the Header type option only. If you want to change the color of the header then please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header.

Hello, first let me apologize for asking a stupid question. Will this theme work with shopify store? We have just moved over from magento to shopify we own the magento version to this theme there is nothing else like it on the market it is one of the best ready made magento themes ever, we really miss our old store. If this theme could work for shopify that would be amazing, we are also sure that you would get a lot of sales most shopify themes are very basic. If not do you have any plans to make a shopify version of your Pronto theme? Thanks much

Porto does not have Multi-vendor feature, you can use this plugin for that type of feature: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-vendors/

Please note we have not tested this plugin with Porto and cannot guarantee or support that.

I already bought the Porto 3 Theme from SW-Themes. There is no info on the site, that Porto 2 can’t be updated to Porto 3. Changelog even mentions all versions back to version 1.

I need to upgrade my website content, otherwise I’d have to rebuild all my pages from ground up with Visual Composer.

Please give me advice how I can handle this problem.

As you have purchased Porto theme You can start using and building your website on it. But it is not possible to update the theme of a different author with the different Author’s version. For more help about the “Spyropress porto theme” please contact theme author. This is the best info we can provide you.

It appears that my hosting provider does not support max_execution_time above 30, but porto requires 180, so it appears that my hosting doesn’t match requirements. Please tell me how crutial execution time is and is there a real need to change my hosting?

Hi,

Max execution time is very important for any theme or site. You can not import demo properly without it or your plugins are not working properly without it. So you have to change the hosting service and should use the max_execution_time more than 180 because most of the theme requirements are higher than the 30 seconds.

Can you please contact us through our support system so we will make at least 1 try to increase the max_execution_time for you. If we will not success then you have to change your server.
