1. The theme is secured as good as a Wordpress theme can be. There are no known vulnerabilities.
2. You can use the custom Mailchimp widget plugin that theme comes with.
3. The theme is installed as a normal Wordpress one. Every deal is a separate post.
4. CouponHut comes with the WP All Import plugin + special custom add-on for importing multiple deals from a CSV/XML file.
5. After purchase, you can download the theme here from themeforest and install it on any server of yours.
6. The theme is a one time purchase that comes with 6 months support. Support can be further is extended.

Hi ! I think your theme has some nice design and features but I would like to make suggestions and have some questions before deciding a future purchase.
1. Are you able to implement variable deal options in the near future? This is really good for hotel, tickets and tour deals.

2. Are you able to implement (in future) shops and/or categories page preferably A-Z and sorting/filter options so customers can select stores and categories easily? A good example below:

3. Able to implement total number of deals bought for each deal (on the deals listing page and solo deal page) ? This would really help customers see how popular each deal is and encourage purchase – must have feature in my opinion.

5. Since there is no email notification currently (I would like buyers and/or vendors to be notified of each deal purchase), how do we go about implementing it ? Is it complicated? Do you think this may be implemented in future?

1. The theme currently doesn’t feature variable deals.
2. There is no such option for now as there doesn’t seem to be interested in one.
3. We will have this in mind.
4. You can do something similar if you use a plugin that adds social icon shortcodes.
5. This should be an easy feature to add for a freelancer.

Yes, the theme comes with the WP All Import plugin + a custom CouponHut add-on for it. Please read the documentaiton in documentation.index.html It is described how easy it is to import deals.

1. Have you refreshed your Permalinks? If yes and you still have the problem, we are releasing a new version in the next 24 hours that includes fixes bout this.
2. It’s currently not possible.
3. Updating ACF is not necessary (yes paid version is needed for update), further CouponHut updates come with newer versions of the plugin. You will have to comment theadd_filter('acf/settings/show_admin', '__return_false'); line in “inc/hooks.php” Notice that the fields are included in the “inc/includes/acf-fields/ac-fields.php” file.

If you add to a user the metafield “user_company” with a value “yes”, it will become a company. You can edit meta fields with plugins like “User Meta Manager”. If you still have problems, please refresh your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save.
Team , I have tried permalinks things many time. It still not working . Let me explain all steps to reproduce this issue.

One question and if it’s good, i want to purchase this right away. Can I make it so that deals and coupons show by city. I live in Quebec, Canada. Can I show individual postal codes or cities and only have certain deals show up depending on geo location? Thank you
Hello and thank you for the interest in the theme! The cities dropdown is automatically populated by all the cities from the deals. When a city is selected, the theme shows only deals from that city.

1. Yes, geolocation can be disabled.
2. The theme supports coupons without an expiration date. There is no timer (and no “expires in” text of course), unfortunately, there is no such deal currently in the demo. We can create one if you want?
3.Expired deals are no longer showing in search results, they appear as published in the admin panel.
4. Yes, you can add.
5. Yes there is, you can see http://subsolardesigns.com/couponhut/submit/ and yes, they can check their submission in their profile.

When a deal is submitted, the administrator receives an email to approve it, which redirects to the Wordpress admin dashboard where the Deal is inserted as Pending.

<iframe> works, just make sure that you insert it in the Text tab as there could be a problem inserting it in the Visual tab of the Text Block shortcode.

I’m afraid I can’t understand what you mean by “partial coupons on home page”. Can you explain? You will need to install Wordpress and change your whole theme to CouponHut.
As this has excellent ratings and looks great, I’m likely going to buy it but I’ve learned to think through everything I need and ask questions beforehand. (Have bought a lot of themes on here I ended up not using because they lacked features I didn’t think of when I bought.)
The other theme on here similar but with lousy ratings and reviews has a credit system which is a big plus. Have you considered adding this on? That helps with the site monetization if people buy credits ahead of time and use as needed. Otherwise, how do people pay to list? Is it per listing? And there’s a PayPal gateway?
Also, I’m considering it for a members-only private deals site. Do you think I can integrate this with a plug in to make it viewable to members only?
And can you use Visual Composer? Not sure if I need it for this but just checking as I use Ultimate Add Ons for just about everything.
Might have a few more questions but seems like the best theme for listing deals and coupons, so will most likely buy.

The theme doesn’t have an option to fee the shops. We have considered adding such feature but we haven’t reached final decision still so we can’t promise anything.
Yes, there is a PayPal Gateway as the theme uses the WooCommerce plugin for selling the deals.
For the Visual Composer Question – The theme uses the Unyson framework but there is a way to use it together with VC. In the admin panel, clicking on Unyson in the sidebar ->”Show More Extensions” and then installing the “WordPress Shortcodes” extension will add a shortcodes button to your Unyson Wordpress editor. So now you can use the VC Text Field and in it insert the needed Unyson shortcode via that button.

3. Stores can edit their submitted deals.

3. The theme can be localized as each other theme on Themeforest, with a program like POEdit or a plugin like WPML and Codestyling Localization.

Hi, do this theme has the following features:
“Options” – deal owner can add options to a deal for purchase. Example: 60 minute Massage $60 90 minute Massage $85
“Give as Gift”. – User purchases the Deal and is given the option to send it to someone else.
“Ask a Question” – User can send an inquiry to deal owner before purchasing. (a popup inquiry form would be great)
“Ratings” – User can give a Rating along with the Review. Furthermore, the ability to give a Rating and Review should only be available to a thoses who purchased a deal. In User Dashboard there should be a new tab showing what Deals are pending rating/review.
I truly hope you can consider these features(if they are not included) as they would make this a very powerful Theme. Cheers

“Options” – this could be added as a simple text in the content of the deal.
“Give as Gift” – There is no such option integrated. As the theme uses WooCommerce it could be possible with an appropriate plugin but we haven’t tested such thing and can’t say for sure.
“Ask a Question” and “Ratings” – No such features.
It’s recommended to contact a freelancer to implement features that you want and are not included in the theme. They should be an easy work for one.

1) Please update the theme to the latest version, go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save. If the link still doesn’t work, please contact us via the Support tab of the theme and please give us credentials and link to your admin panel so we can inspect the problem closely.

3) The theme uses WooCommerce for the registration. You will have to configure the Woocommerce registration options the way you want from WooCommerce > Settings.

I have a problem that I need some help with please. When the user clicks the pages numbers on the deal catergory page it show a 404 error. SO they are only able to see the first page of deals. Please see:

I have disabled the plug ins as requested but I still get the issue on the deal category pages (http://www.pureoffers.co.uk/deal_category/holidays/) where its goes to a 404 error when trying to navigate through the pages numbers.
It works ok on the all deals page though.
I noticed that since the last update the side bar that was previously on the deal category is no longer there – do you know where this has gone and could this be related ?

Deleted the theme and updated it to the latest version and now everything works correctly. Also deleted the cache via the WP Ending menu in the admin dashboard.
