Thank you for the comment and for buying the theme. We don’t have any specific field for tours or iframes. In front end submission we don’t have any field with html option. It may be possible what you wish with custom development at this point, but since we haven’t worked with this I wouldn’t be able to confirm

If you have some technical documentation about how to add the tour in an external wordpress site, I can show it to my colleagues from technical team and ask them if this is something that can be added to core.

If there are booked dates for a property, and an user wishes to look for those dates in search – the property will not appear in search results as available. If the user lands on a property page and wishes to book a property with booked dates, he will not be allowed to send the request.

—> Yes. You can set default currency to whatever you wish. For payments via PayPal or Stripe you have to choose a payment currency supported by these 2 merchants. if neither works for you, you can choose wire transfer and set your own currency.

2. Can I set the template for a multilingual platform with WPML?

—> Yes. Please consider the following. WPML is a multilanguage plugin which is paid. Must be installed and used separately from the theme. It requires admin translates everything manually from wp-admin.

3. Can I add a rental category? Car Rental and Cruises for example?

—> I am not sure I understand how you wish to add the category. The theme features (search, property, submit) are built for daily rent and property accommodation booking. If you need something else, then the theme would have to be customized (and the changes could be more or less complex, depending on what you need), but such modifications would require a developer assistance for quote and implementation. We can only assist guiding clients through existing code, not making new changes.

-> We want to implement a monthly or weekly price, but I am not able to tell if this will be as you wish at this moment. We’re also not sure on how we will deliver this add-on, if we will make it as a plugin or part of this theme update. We’ve recently had to deal with several unpleasant situations where other developers simply copy our code illegally, wasting our time and money on legal arrangements required to protect ourselves. Because of that, we may decide to offer some of the most complex new features for our theme only to clients who will wish to host with our own servers (now we have a setup in progress). These clients will get access to exclusive features and at the same time we can protect our code. We enjoy coding new stuff, not chasing “code thieves”.

-> In general we don’t show the future development list public because we usually plan very complex changes, that may change during development. We don’t want to advertise a possible feature unless it is done, tested and available. Please make your decision only based on existing features. I am here to answer any questions you have about existing functions.

2) Does this theme supports API’s if we want to develop a mobile app for this theme?

—> We don’t have that.

3) Will it be possible to have different packages for the membership and featured listings? Example: I want to have 3 membership packages with the number of listings differences (1st Package will let 20 listings, 2nd will let 50 listings and 3rd one will let 100 listings),

—> This you can do with membership.

and also I want to charge featured listings as an extra to the members.

—> This is not possible with membership. If you choose membership, featured listings are part of the package you sell.

Like if they want to add their properties to featured listings they need to buy a package for that. For example 3 listings with 1 week featured is this price or each listings to show on featured listings for a week is this price.

—> This is not possible.

4) Is it possible to show featured listings according to the propert types? Like Villas, apartments etc.?

Payment for submission happens in user dashboard (not at registration). You have 2 options: Paid Listing OR Membership Submission.

Paid Listing implies you ask for a fixed fee for a property to be published and, optional, an extra fee for that property to be featured. Help – http://help.wprentals.org/2015/10/28/paid-submission/

OR, you can enable membership submission.

—> In Membership Package – the package allows admin to include x number of listings, and from this value y number can be featured (this can be a fixed number), and set the duration of the package in a number of days, weeks, months or years.

Let’s say you have Package 1: x number of listings, y number of featured listings, for 7 days, $100 value

And Package 2: x number of listings, y number of featured listings, for 14 days, $120 value

Let’s say user buys package 1. That package is active for 7 days. After 7 days (no matter if they published a property or not), the package expires. If they publish a property, the property is published while the membership is active. If it expires – then it is set to status EXPIRED and user would have to buy another package to be able to simply re-submit the same property to be active again.

Only admin can un-mark a property as featured and give the user manually another featured listing to use. The user cannot do that from his dashboard.

You can delete the 2 extra advanced search pages. One is from default installation (for who doesn’t import demo) and the other 2 are from demo import (1 was left by mistake). However this doesn’t affect the search functionality and you can have only 1 if you wish to remove the other 2.

About 1 – I am afraid we don’t have that. A property must be published to be accessed in front end. I am not able to tell if the preview that exists in admin can be implemented in front end. It may be possible, but this would require research to know for sure and then implementation/test to confirm.

About 2 – If by security deposit you mean take the money from user in full – then make the payment to owner by admin, that is not something I would be able to guide you as it’s a very complex feature from our estimation. As direction, we know this could be done with adaptive payments from paypal (they have it in API).

Hello Anna. I have issue with client who is not internet savvy when using the template.

Issue: Featured Listings There is no lock security or alert when a property has been set to Featured Listing and accidentally clicked on the ‘star’ icon again. It automatically deducts the rest of the featured listings available in the membership. Featured Listing is not indicated in My Properties to separate it from other listings.

Thank you for the comment. If I understand correctly the request is to include a 2nd step in making a property featured (that is to show a notification like “are you sure you want to do this?” as it’s easy to make a property as featured by accident. If I understand correctly, this is a new feature but I will add it to wishlist to be reviewed for next version as I understand its usability.

The user cannot change featured to non-featured in front end because the option is meant to force users to upgrade if they wish to use more featured properties.

In My proprties the label FEATURED shows for featured properties, but they are together with the rest of the properties. Not sure about what would mean to separate them. If you can tell more more, I will fwd this idea as well to my colleagues.

You can also set a custom weekend price for certain period, or custom price per guest (or extra guest). Anna, I just did it and I like the result corcening the images but now description is missing, the “view more” button out of place, the search box is below and not in the middle, a total mess. is it my fault? did I need to change something more? I fixed it, thanks a lot, I realized I just had to lower the level of opacity. yes, it sounds obvious but I’m new at this. To leave it at zero is not a good idea for light images so I lowered it to 0.3, And it is much better now. Thanks a million, as usual!!!

This happens because Facebook API (used for facebook login) has updated and starting August 2016 the new API is mandatory. So we udpated the API as well in the theme. This new API requires PHP version after 5.5 (at least) but we recommend 5.6.1 as it has a better performance overall.

There is also the possibility to not use this feature and comment the facebook api code (there are 3 files). If you wish that direction please let me know.
