Hi, A pre purchase question, I am new to WordPress so I’m just wandering will I be able to set up all of the pages the way they are on the template displayed here? I have had trouble in the past where some pages were missing after I imported the information.

Thanks

And also can I set up payment method where you can pay for a job to be done through the website?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

Question: I am new to WordPress so I’m just wandering will I be able to set up all of the pages the way they are on the template displayed here? I have had trouble in the past where some pages were missing after I imported the information

Answer: Our Jobify theme comes with a setup guide that imports all demo content for you. You can be set up in 2 minutes with one of two of our demo contents. See here: Getting Started With Jobify

Question: And also can I set up payment method where you can pay for a job to be done through the website?

Answer: Yes, you can charge users to submit job postings on your website. You can Create multiple Listing Packages in order to charge users.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi there

How can I set the company details (company name, social media, tagline etc) so its teh same across all jobs? For example i added 3 jobs & changed the company name each time. Instead of syncing them it now shows 3 separate companies in the company directory even though its just 1 company account!

It woudl make more sense to have a separate page where companies can just edit their details & it syncs across all jobs they submit. I was told by support this was how it works but it doesn’t seem to work.

Apart from that, great theme!

Thanks John

Hi John,

Hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible and not a feature the WP Job Manager Plugin has. I do see you submitted a ticket regarding this issue and Rashid replied back to you. If you have any further questions let us know through our support!

Hello,

Just wondering is there any option that I could make adding a logo as a featured option. For example, currently I have made three pricing plans:

1: Free Trial Plan 2: $40 with featured listing 3: $60 with featured & job stats view

I want to add logo visibility for only plan 3. If this is possible I can get back to support for more help/info.

Thanks

Another thing I wanted to know if I have a free trial plan where user can list one job which will expire in 15 days. Will this user be able to post another free job again after 15days?

I do not want employers to misuse free job listing trial option. thanks

Hi there, Unsure why the following code would not work for the Hero Search element:

.search_location > div.search_location { display: none; }

.search_keywords > div.search_keywords { width: 65% !important; }

Thanks

Hello, I’m trying to use the theme with the “WP Job Manager Field Editor” plugin, the custom fields are shown at the Job submission page but not at the job page after published. There’s any incompatibility with the theme and the plugin? Thanks

Hey Fernando,

I remember you answered a query about having multiple regions for a job listing & you answered it’s not possible. I am using WP Job Manager Field Editor which allows me to select Taxanomy Multi-select Dropdown for both jobs & resume regions. Just wondering will this allow jobs & resumes to appear in multiple region searches?

thanks

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well.

It does look it is possible with the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. So there should be no issue. The issue would now only occur if a Job posting had 2 actual locations. That will not work. The WP Job Manager plugin does not allow for Job posts to have more than 1 Address.

Cheers! Fernando

Hi ,

New to CSS so trying really hard to get to grips with it and slowy getting there.

I recently removed company logo’s from my job results page

Example

Marine Service Engineer – Oiljobsearch.com

I used the code ; .company_logo{ display: none; } .job_listing-widget-top default-widget { display: none; }

Which worked fine , but…

I want to hide the box that the image was in as it is stopping all the other text from realigning to the left.

If I goto inspect element it would be the below that I want to hide

If I delete is through the inspect element page it realigns fine , but obviously I want to hide it with “Simple Custom CSS” as one day I may need to put it back in

Can anyone help

Thanks

Hi, I have just updated my theme but for some reason in appearance > customize > jobs > widget area location when I select ‘Sidebar’ it just won’t remember it and reverts back to the default. Have you had this issue before? As a temp fix is there a file I can edit to set the default to ‘sidebar’ in the code?

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well.

Can you delete the child theme and try creating a new one? If that does not work, get the child theme file found at the bottom of the page and follow the steps also: Creating a Child Theme.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

I tired that and something seemed to work for a while then it has come back. I have found this in the error log, could this be to do with it?:

Can I please access a demo for admin side and for users side to see if it meets our requirments

Hi there!

Unfortunately, we do not provide access to the themes back-end. You can create a front-end account by submitting a job post here: Post a Job.

If you would like I can provide you with images from the back-end if you would like!

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Yes. Please send me pics of the users section and the form creating for customised fields for the candidates and jobs post

Hi there!

Have a look at these images of the front-end dashboards.

As for demonstrating how to customize the submission form, currently out demos are not using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. If you wish to see the process of creating custom fields, you can view the plugins doc article: Field Output Configuration

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi there!

Question: 1. Can I change / modify Job post & Resume fields (hiding field/ making optional or required field) from admin?

Answer: You can hide or create new fields for the submission forms using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin in the admin panel.

Answer: You can use the Restrict Content Pro plugin for this. You can read further here: Restrict Content Pro

Answer: Unfortunately there is no daily limit setting for this.

Question: 5. Can I disable pm to not communicate with each others?

Hello, I’ve have a few questions.

  1. In the window “Apply to job”, Can I attach a resume?
  2. In the “Find a Job section” It can shows a little of the job description?
  3. Can I delete de “candidates” in the home page an put another row of Jobs offers?
  4. In the main slider at the home page, Can I put a search for job bar?

    Thank you, Bests Regards

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today and thank you for your questions.

Question: In the window “Apply to job”, Can I attach a resume?

Answer: Yes! You can create or edit your forms. You can add a field to attach resumes for submission. See here: Setting Up Your Forms

Question: In the “Find a Job section” It can shows a little of the job description?

Answer: Unfortunately, something like that would need customization to be done to the theme. There is no setting to display a description of the job on the results page.

Question: Can I delete de “candidates” in the home page an put another row of Jobs offers?

Answer: Absolutely, the homepage contains various widgets that display the pages content. You can remove or add widgets. You will be able to also adjust the number of jobs the widget outputs!

Question: In the main slider at the home page, Can I put a search for job bar?

Answer: You can remove the Feature Callout Widget and use the Search Hero Widget.

Hope this helps!

Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

Cheers! Fernando

Hello Astoundify,

I’d really like to buy this theme to advertise jobs, but have a few questions first.

1. Please can you confirm that it comes with the search bar function as per demo 1 (the search fields and search button at the top of the page on top of the image?) I’ve had real trouble trying to do this myself through custom templates.

2. Is it possible to display a list of featured jobs with thumbnails (company logos) in the sidebar on the home page?

3. Does this theme offer any additional functionality for tracking job clicks and other insights?

Thanking you!

Nat

Hi, Nat!

Thank you for your interest in our theme!

Question: 1. Please can you confirm that it comes with the search bar function as per demo 1 (the search fields and search button at the top of the page on top of the image?) I’ve had real trouble trying to do this myself through custom templates.

Answer: Yes it does come with it! The theme comes with the Search Hero Widget! You can simply drag and drop the widget to the top of your home page and it is already set up for you!

Question:2. Is it possible to display a list of featured jobs with thumbnails (company logos) in the sidebar on the home page?

Answer: There are two simple ways to display featured jobs on your homepage. The first is using the Jobs Spotlight displaying the jobs on the Homepage.

The second is using the Recent Jobs and enable the “Job Spotlight” section to display Featured Jobs on the side of the widget.

Question:3. Does this theme offer any additional functionality for tracking job clicks and other insights?

Answer: At this time it does not, unfortunately! :(

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando
