As to the footer issue – there’s a need to deactivate third party plugins to check their influence on footer functionality.

And regarding portfolio displaying – please note, that portfolio width consists of four columns, thus to occupy full with with three projects being shown you need to settle one of them to have 2/4 width. You can settle project size for each project individually as shown on the screenshot.

You can create a multi language site with the help of GoodDay theme as it’s compatible with WPML plugin (which needs to be bought separately) or create multisite/add sub domains if you aren’t planning to use WPML. As to the log in possibility – it’s available for the theme in measures of WordPress users functionality. Profiles post type is for presentation only, it doesn’t include corresponding profile/user cabinets. Though such functionality can be achieved with some third party plugins, we just can’t name any at the moment as haven’t implemented tests with them.

GoodDay Multi-Purpose theme can be a suitable solution for your case, we’d also recommend to pay attention to products released after GoodDay, they refer to certain niches, but still can be used for corporate/private events & weddings site. Please note, that all theme colors can be easily changed, content elements can be regrouped/added/removed according to your requirements as our custom admin panel is really flexible.

I have a problem to display the projects portfolio on Safari (desktop and mobile). If I want to see my website on Safari, all the portfolios are white and no pictures are displayed. What can I do to correct this ?

Also, is it possible to change the little dots to scroll through the images in the gallery (in a project for example) ? I would like to have more visible arrows instead.

All updates are free for the customers who bought the theme. Sure, comments can be enabled on any page/post type (for Music band site that can be blogs / artists / albums as you mentioned). We just haven’t made them visible for our demo, though basic Discussion functionality is available and can be successfully used.

As to the compatibility with the latest WordPress version (4.3) – the theme should work properly with it.

Most likely you’re referring to Visual Composer – a third party plugin we don’t ensure as the one compatible with Good Day theme, that’s why we don’t provide assistance on troubleshooting necessary for its compatibility with the theme.

We do our best the theme compatible with the most popular plugins (they are listed in product description), but can’t ensure absolutely proper functioning with all the variety of existing plugins. Appreciate your understanding.

As to errors you receive – you are not uploading the theme folder, as far as I can see. You are using only update files, instead of the theme itself, as goodday_fix_1.2.8 is a folder that contains all the updates to the current version.

The theme is located in a goodday.zip folder. Please check the archive you have downloaded, you will find the needed theme archive in the root folder.

Also we highly recommend that you follow installation instructions listed in theme docs. Please check out the DOCS folder and open index.html file in your browser. There is a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to install and use the theme. Quite sure you fill find it helpful.

I have uploaded through the admin panel and directly through the ftp. In both situations I result in the same error.

I have followed the guide even after doing the same before checking it.

I should note the the theme is being read in the theme panel. But as soon as I choose live preview or activate. The site is presented with those errors.

I checked the theme settings on line 23 and it is calling files such as ‘cmsms-theme-setting-font.php’ that I can’t find anywhere within the original download files.

If you could please let me know of why this is happening and how I can fix it that would be very helpful.

Ps. Sorry about sending the incorrect log errors, (I know that is the update folder)

I received the email, but instead of explaining they said they would install it. It should be as simple as loading the plugins and template. I replied, CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME DIRECTION TO INSTALL? This is the second time I am reaching out asking for install instructions because the instructions that come with the DOCS does not work. I gave the wordpress login but it didint work because the theme doesn’t work and creates a white screen. I just want to install myself I dont want to have to wait 2-5 days for a reply. I have clients waiting! This is slowing down my business.

The problem you’re experiencing is really specific, it’s not a common one as instructions we provide in the documentation work absolutely fine and lead to a successful installation and demo content uploading. That’s why exactly in your case we need to see what happens on your end. It’s significantly important to have FTP access for troubleshooting purposes, they are missing at the moment. Besides we’ll surely provide you with descriptions of actions implemented to make theme function properly. Our support team provides replied to requests within 24 hours (except for the weekend days), so it won’t take 2-5 days to receive an answer. At this stage FTP data are still required to proceed, so I’m still kindly asking you to submit a new request (please submit it here), with proper email address and both WP and FTP sets of relevant credentials. Cleaning the database and providing us access to a clean WordPress installation can also be an option.
