Still having the same issue, when downloading the theme directly from Themeforest and uploading the “goodday” folder via FTP I get.

No such file or directory in /home/accelera/public_html/wp-content/themes/goodday/framework/admin/settings/cmsms-theme-settings.php on line 20

There are files missing in your theme one is this ”/inc/cmsms-helper-functions.php”. Ive already submitted a ticket and provided all credentials.

Is it possible to set standard-icons for blog-posts depending on category? Is there a setting for not showing icons at all?

Icons can’t be settled according to the category, but they can be changed or even hidden. To disable icons please proceed to Theme – Settings – General – Custom Codes – Custom CSS and enter the following code:

.blog .cmsms_post_format_img {
display: none;
}
#page .blog .cmsms_post_header {
padding-left: 0;
}

Then save changes.

Hi – as soon as I activate the theme, my wp-admin and site front end both go completely blank. Any ideas why? Or what the fix is? If it’s of interest, within the Themes section of wp-admin your theme does not have a preview image – is that suggestive of anything?

Thanks for getting back to me – I have plenty of experience building WP sites with different themes and know how to install a theme – and I have tried many times to install this theme unsuccessfully. I have uploaded the installable WP files only in the correct way and tried both via FTP and via theme install in wp-admin. I have done so again following your response even though I know I have done so correctly before. It continues to fail. I will put in a support ticket. Thank you.

Trying to save a page as a template and it doesn’t save. I’ve named the template, Saved All as Template, updated page, refresh page and it confirms the save, but when I open up the templates button, it’s not there. just want it to work…

I’ve noticed a bug in a few of the theme demos I’ve viewed concerning the top section of the site that holds the location and contact information. When viewing on smaller screen sizes where the info is hidden behind the arrow icon: the info becomes invisible if it’s clicked open, then clicked closed again, and then the window is resized to a larger screen size.

The process is hard to explain, so I apologize if this doesn’t make sense immediately. If the top menu is popped open using the arrow, and then closed again, it disappears when the window is resized to a larger desktop size.

There is a small issue in latest Firefox, a fix for this is on its way and will be available soon. For now please use the given below code in custom css field in Theme Settings – General – Custom Codes:

I used this theme a few times, the install is painful. Every single time there’s an issue installing the plugins, no matter how carefully you follow the directions, which are mediocre at best. Safest thing to do is manually upload the plugins and install them, that seems the safest route. I’ve never gotten demo content to load 100% either, although it usually gets close enough to work. Bottom line, you better really like this theme, because installing it is a frustrating and time consuming process.

As to theme installation – in fact for most of the customers it goes quite well, though on some servers it really does require manual uploading. We would also appreciate if you specify what exactly you feel theme documentation should describe, as most of the customers report the instructions given there are sufficient and helpful. Yet, we will eagerly add the needed information to the theme docs, if there is a need for this. As to demo content – we would really appreciate if you submitted us a support ticket so that we could take a look at the issues and see what can be done regarding this – submit.

I love this theme but I don’t think that it is WPML compatible. It is not on their list of compatible themes and my blog still shows English for In, By, You are here: HOME instead of the en, par etc. that I put in the string translations. Have triple checked that all strings were translated within WPML and the translations still won’t show. Wrote to WPML and they said it might not be compatible. Any suggestions? Thank you.

My mistake…sorry…just checked the WPML site again and they do say it is compatible, but the person I talked to there said it wasn’t. Not sure why, maybe just a miscommunication? Could something have changed in the updates? Using WP 4.2.1 and lastest version of theme. Thanks again!

In the meantime I spoke with WPML again and using their plugin I updated all the translations via Translate by WPML, Review Changes and Update and that fixed it.

The theme initially has all the needed integration for WPML, but there were core updates for the plugin? We do plan to update the theme for this, yet if you submit us a ticket, we will see how we can help you with the mentioned issues sooner. Could you please activate any standard WordPress theme (like Twenty Fifteen) and then activate Goodday back? That should help, it’s just a necessary action after update is uploaded.

Hi, I love this theme, one of my favourites! A problem has just cropped up in the last couple of days though with the Twitter feed – I’m getting this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/sites/t/thehealingheart.org.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/goodday/framework/class/widgets.php on line 1852

Logo disappears in firefox, theme version 1.2.0

As to logo – we are aware of the issue and will add this fix to the upcoming security update. Just give it a couple of days. For now, please use a temporary solutiuon, please add the following to custom css field in Theme Settings – General – Custom Codes:

The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

In fact you really seem to be the first one to fact this sort of an issue. This message can mean that the theme archive could not be extracted from the zip archive. Can you please check that your web server has available space on the volume where WordPress is installed and that you’re not running into quota issues (if applicable)? Please try contacting your hosting provider about this.

first of all, I love this theme and I’m very happy with it.

Today I’ve learned that there is a newer Version of it available then the one installed on my site. I have the Envato Wordpress Updater tool running on my site and made the update through that tool, afterwards there was stated that I need to update a few of the cms plugins, which I did. So regarding the Theme everything is up and running just fine.

But somehow the Content Composer won’t run anymore, and one of my pages looks like it won’t load the js correctly.

Mainsite seems to be ok http://mindcoaching.ch Not ok http://mindcoaching.ch/angebote/

Since the content composer won’t run, I’m not able to edit vital data on my site.

Can you please help?

p.s. yes, there is a backup of the theme files, but somehow it’s not working anymore and just gives me a blank white site.

I’m wanting to update my website and in the update that I downloaded you state in the readme file the following:

“To update your theme please use the files list from the FILE LOGS below and substitute/add the listed files on your server with the same files in the Updates folder.”

The file log list is very long and I’m not really sure how to do this. Can’t I just zip the whole theme, upload it to wordpress, switch over and then delete the old theme. Will I lose all my content? There must be an easier way. Thanks in advance!

You can upload the new theme archive, just please first rename the existent one to backup it. If you have not applied any custom changes to the theme files, you can feel free to overwrite it.

Hi! After 1 year happy with GoodDay I’ve got 2 questions now.

1) I’ve recently transferred my website from old to new hosting and since then (15 days) I’ve got problems with ICONS that I can use but I do not see displayed in the page. Is there some link to check?! And if yes where do I find it?

2) I see theme is now version 1.2.0 while I have 1.1.3 …but no Update allert in my mail and when I look in my Envato basket I still find 1.1.3 …why that please? And should this be in relation with above mentioned problem

Hi I tried to install this theme on two different hosting plans and each time i would randomly get this error: “Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /home/terencecgreen/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ilightbox/ilightbox.php on line 218” I really need help on fixing this issue. Hi. Great theme! I want to remove the featured image inside the opened project. i saw the code: .profiles.opened-article .profile .profile_content > figure { display: none; } But only works with the profile section i need it with the project section too. I replaced the word “profile” with “project” but doesnt work. Can you help me please? Thanks!

You can see changelog in the very bottom of the product page. Also you can find a list of all updated files and the files themselves in the Update folder in theme general archive. There is a readme file that lists all the files.
