You can find documentation inside your main download archive’s documentation/index.html file. It is included in download (instead of hosting online). In your requirement, you would use the following shortcode:

You will need to change numeric category IDs inside cat=”xx” parameter.

Navigate to WordPress admin’s Appearance > Widgets. Next, use a text widget inside the “Default header bar” widget area. Inside this text widget you can place either your Adsense script code, or a simple image banner by pasting the following markup:

You can replace link and image URLs with actual ones.

The dummy XML file is only 2.3 MB. Mostly, 413 Request Entity error is caused due to low size specified at server side. But sometimes it is caused due to VPN settings too. For example, check this thread.

Alternatively, you can set up Home page manually as described inside the documentation file. The Home page is pre-made template which doesn’t need importing XML file. You can directly load it from the page builder. XML file will be required if you need to import posts.

2. The text “Comments” is translation ready. It is located inside wp-content/plugins/newsplus-shortcodes/languages/*.po file. You can use the “newsplus-shortcodes.pot” fiel for creating a .po file for plugin specific translations.

According to your answer I found out that was my China cdn provider error, so I changed one, now it appears all the fonts including FontAwesome and google fonts now.

I was able to get the design and the news ticker. However the design gets little scattered with

Medium list can be achieved by using “list-big” within a smaller container. For example, using the following shortcode:

- some other stuff -

Then if you want smaller font size in the list titles, you can add the following CSS at the end of child theme’s style.css or main theme’s user.css file:

.my-list h3 { font-size: 18px; line-height: 27px; }

In next update I will add an option for split ratio of thumbnail vs content so that you can choose between different sizes of list.
