Since i pressed the update button for AVADA to version 5.0.3 nothing seems to work anymore. Download is corrupt, Wordpress erroros etc etc . Very nasty for a production site. We have bought several AVADA themes and until now reasonably stable. A seems that the secret key, or registration key or whatever it’s called messes things up. This is definitely our last purchase if this doesnt get solved quickly. I’ve done three clean databases and clean wordpress installs and keep running into problems.

Firstly let us clarify that updating to Avada 5.0.3 is working perfectly fine for tens of thousands of Avada customers, this we guarantee.
Having read your explanation here, it is evident that the update instructions were not followed carefully. With each update we provide highly detailed and specific update instructions and they must be adhered to ensure that you do not experience any issues.
Furthermore, applying a Token Key to register your purchase cannot affect your update or the site itself, it simply is not possible and it has not once been reported as an issue by any of our customers.
I checked our support system and the one and only support ticket that you have created was back in July 2015, our support replied to you and you have not replied back.
Lastly, if and when you update and the migration does not complete for some reason like a 3rd party plugin conflict, you can very easily rerun the migration by going to -> WP Dashboard >> Avada >> System Status >> Avada 5.0.0 Migration

Can’t find the topic I just started, but I have new information:
I am using a plugin names responsive gallery grid, and the lightbox does not work when I use that. It does work with normal wordpress galleries though, but they are not nice looking at all.

Can I not use RGG, and use your lightbox, somehow? The plugin “simple lightbox” works out of the box with RGG, why doesn’t yours just override like that one does?

Hey, quick question:
Can I turn on lightbox for all images? I have made a standard wordpress gallery (since you don’t have one as far as I can see), but the images only link onto the media file.
Can such a gallery open with your lightbox? It is must nicer looking than other lightboxes (which work, btw). Thanks.

Dear Team of Avada,
I’m having trouble with the presentation of the logo in the nav bar and the custom pin for my google map on mobile and in safari, it’s not displayed. Is that a known bug? I’m using the new version of Avada and of course I did set a custom logo for mobile.

Hello,
I could not display any of images in Image Library. I only see gray boxes but when I copy full path of this gray boxed images and paste on the browser, I can display the picture.
Beside, I can see all images when I make a FTP connection. It means, all pictures already in server but Image Library could not find or display it.
I changed file permission as 777, try to use 3rd party plugin without success.
Could you please advise me how to fix this problem?

Please make sure your PHP version of server is 5.6+ as per our and WordPress system requirements here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/requirements-for-avada/
However if you are still unable to access / upload media do try with a default WP theme such as 2015 or 2016 and in case issue persist you need to talk to your server / hoster about this.

I believe you meant WPML here? and the answer is YES, if you install a multi language plugin with our theme in that case the theme options are saved individually for each language.

Are you referring to your actual online site? Or your account with our support center?
If it’s your actual site, then there is nothing we can do as we do not have any type of access to that. However, if you contact your hosting provider, they can help and get you back in, so that is what I’d recommend doing.

Since applying the updates with my registered license – the rev slider is no longer working….please advise

Did you register the product via token registration? That is now required due to licensing rules. When you update to v5+, you need to register the product with the new Envato API token method, you can read about it here: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/how-to-register-your-purchase/
Once you do that, you will have access to Revolution Slider, Layer Slider and all the Avada demos.

Our prebuilt elements, like blog or recent posts do not work with custom post types. In the future, we are looking to add the ability for blog, portfolio, recent work, etc to pull from registereed post types.
However, you can enable Fusion Builder on any registered custom post type.
Hi, after upgrade Avada to version 5.0.3 the slider revolutio plugin (part of Avada Theme bundle) became “Not Activated”. It have a button to Register and another to Deregister Domain. What should I do? Please Help. Thanks.

I am not sure what do you mean by lost registration, With our new version the plugins are offloaded so you will need to register your purchase in order to activate them, that is all you need to do and we have complete instructions on how to do this here : http://bit.ly/2eahzvS

Added widget to the footer, but it is showing recent posts from one of the categories but does not display the news/recent post from the other categories. Is there a way to change that, adjust it? Update to Avada 5 and new Fusion Builder has broken shortcodes throughout the entire site. Is this something you are working on fixing or do we need to rebuild the entire site?

Thanks for your reply. One thing to add: when I go to the system status panel and then to wordpress environment and languages, there is already the language set that I want. Also, on my server, there are the right .mo and .po files in the languages folder. But still, stuff like “add a coment” or every text on the 404 site is still in English.

Please make sure that you are renaming the translation files as per our recommended method and storing them inside wp-content / languages / themes folder as well as wp-content / languages / plugins folder and nowhere else, However if the issue persist you will need to open a ticket with your complete WP + FTP details so we can take a look at it.

What is the logo size for mobile? My site logo in mobile screen looks distorted and the resolution is out

There is no logo size requirement for our theme, any size you attach should come up just fine, however if you are looking from a retina device please make sure that you are attaching the correct resolution for retina version of logo that should exactly be 2x of the normal logo.

Hi, I am trying to create a white border (padding – 5-10px around the hero section of each page and set the navigation inside that. Am I able to do this with some funky css tricks or is there another way before I attempt this design.
