You should actually be able to use blog posts for this particular requirement and disable the featured images on each post to make it appear like your layout above, each post can have its category as well and with a bit of custom CSS help there should be no need of any 3rd party plugin.
That above site is also using posts for this matter

Hello, does fusion builder have an option build custom grids of custom content types like the ‘post grid’ in VC? I mean something that allows you to build the item template of a grid to show various fields including custom ones, and to modify the query as well.
For example, I’ll be making a list of courses at a school with custom taxonomy, and relations to teachers (yet another custom post type). Similar to the staff page I will make teacher lists that should show their title (Custom field).

We do have complete support for using Fusion builder on custom posts types to create the layout, however arranging the custom post type on a page in a grid layout like our portfolio or posts is not an option and will require you to use 3rd party plugin, i have seen people using essential grid plugin for this purpose as well.

Please help. I need to create a support ticket. When I enter my purchase code it says I have an account already. when I click to reset the password no one on my team receives an email. For your issue, I imagine it is because of the new change Google Maps has made. Basically they now require a google map API key.
Here is the info about the google maps needing an API key: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/setting-google-maps-api-key/To apply it in Avada, if you are on Avada v5+, then simply go to theme options > contact > google map to place your API key that you make from Google.
If you are on Avada 4.0.3, then go to Avada > Support tab and look at the bottom for the Avada Patcher tool box. You will see patches (fixes) that can be applied with a single button. Once the Google Maps API key patch is applied, you will see a new field in theme options > contact > google map to place your API key.
You will notice that some patches have to be applied in order so make sure to apply them as they show from top to bottom. Here is more info about the patcher in general: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/avada-patcher/
This is unfortunately a change Google made and is now required.

WOW! Know Avada a long time, and other “Theme-Frameworks”. Just installed Avada 5, loading page, looking at “Library”, seeing that i can save now the pagelayout, the container, the colums!!! and even the elements!!!!!. Getting tears in my eyes. Wow! Don’t you have pity with your competition?

After updating to version 5.0.4 I get an error message from the LayerSlider plugin. It tells me that I need to activate the plugin. I need an activation code. I tried the Avada code but it did not accept this. How would I go about receiving this activation code?

You do not need to “Activate / Register” your plugin purchase in order to use it with our theme actually, the bundled plugins are shipped free with our theme and License is only require to get premium support and add ons for the plugins, however the updates for each plugins will only be available in this case when we update it on our end (theme update)

So do I just ignore that it needs to be updated? It says NOT ACTIVATED. I have version 6.0.5 and the update would bring me up to 6.0.6

Yes, you can simply ignore it as far as you want the updated version of slider for some specific reason immediately, however in any case we will be including the latest versions for both sliders in our next update anyways

hi. just installed brand new Avada 5.0.4 onto a clean WP platform, It came with Fusion core 3.0.4 and Fusion Builder 1.0.4. the page building starts ok, then the fusion builder collapses and converts to Classic Editor!! i get a message: “Content Error
Your page content could not be converted. Most likely it was created with an earlier (pre 5.0) version of Avada. To update old content to Avada 5.0 or higher, you must go through conversion”
why is this happening?

Hi Guys
I have already purchased multiple Avada licences, before I buy another I have a question:
Simple website has 5 pages. I need every page to have a different colour scheme inluding the logo. This is how I think I can manage it:
Have one default the other 4 I intend to remove the header and use shorcodes to replicate the default, add a custom menu and custom css for headings etc Is that the best way or can you think of an easier option.

This is a possibility but you will need to use custom CSS to hide the main logo and then use CSS background property to assign a different logo to each page, however colors can be changed for each page using our new Fusion Builder custom CSS field on each page

Indeed it is possible for sure. All you need to do is set a custom CSS class or ID to your column using our respective fields and then you can set the background position to contain, its very easy.

in "fusion Builder" I have made some text box and change the content (plus adding some HTML codes), after updating the page, the following error appeared:“Your page content could not be converted. I have checked the avada System Status, but everything is updated and is normal as it should be.

Please make sure you are on the latest version of theme that is 5.0.4 and latest version of Fusion Core as well as Fusion Builder.
Also please make sure you have applied the patch from Avada > Support Tab as mentioned here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/avada-patcher/
Your Conversion link will not appear if you have directly installed Avada 5.0+ version as there is no need for conversion to take place.

My client wants links on the page in Visual Editor; they don’t work unless the links are on the page after the Read More… . Is this a glitch with the theme or a larger issue? BTW: I’ve taken over my client’s website which was previously managed by a different web dev. I suppose I’ll have to buy the theme again for my client as I don’t have access to the original purchase code, etc. Thanks in advance for your help. Laurie

Links should work just fine and good in our theme without any issues, however i am not able to properly understand your query here regarding the links and may have a misunderstanding.
There is no need for you to purchase a separate license if you already have one for this site, all you need to do is ask your client for the user/pass of their support account and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I’ve taken over a site designed using your Avada theme; however, the previous web designer purchased the theme for the client so we don’t have access to the purchase code. This means I will have to purchase the theme so as to be able to make future updates, inc. the most recent one.
To update a theme, do I simply update it using the purchase code? I don’t want to have to reinstall the theme.

In that case yes, you need to have your purchase code or more importantly access to an account from which you purchased Avada (ThemeForest) account so that you can register your purchase with that account and get our future updates and valid support.
In order to update the theme all you need to do is generate a token and register the purchase, then you can get the Auto updates for your theme, More info about this can be read here : https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/how-to-register-your-purchase/

i want to create a sub folder mydomain.com/test to build my new avada site… if i add my registration key on this subfolder, will it still work when i move the site to the root domain? thanks
