Is it possible to have an employee apply to a job, the employer, hire the employee, then pay the employee, we hold the money in escrow and then when the job is complete, to pay out the employee, minus a % fee?

Hi there!

Unfortunately, Jobify, and the WP Job Manager plugin do not offer a feature like that. A user will be able to apply for jobs but Jobify does not offer a feature to pay hired users for jobs.

Sorry about that.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

We are a recruitment agency. We want to have 1 user account to post jobs for multiple companies. Companies cannot sign up to post jobs. Visitors can then apply for jobs. Can this be achieved with your theme?

Hey there!

Yes it can. The user would need access to the Admin Panel and from there can create the jobs required. You will need to remove the submission form to prevent other users from submitting jobs. Aside from that all other users will be able to apply to your website from the front end.

Hope this helps!

Hi there – Jobify looks great, I just have a few pre-sales questions if that’s OK…

1. It sounds like Employers are not automatically asked to log in or create an account with a password when adding jobs (http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/1047-how-do-i-add-a-password-field-to-the-listing-submission-form) – is that correct? Sorry if I misunderstood the article!

2. For jobs (and ideally also for resumes) – can you create subcategories eg Marketing would be a category, with Digital / Social Media / or whatever as subcategories?

3. In the ‘extended’ demo content, if you try to sign in to see the candidate panel, you seem to get sent back to the Wordpress backend (I saw this page: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fjobify-demos.astoundify.com%2Fextended%2Fcandidate-dashboard%2F) Is this just in the demo? I’m hoping to set things up so that candidates & employers will only ever interact with the front-end.

4. Again, on the extended demo: The employers’ dashboard looks like a store ie it has items such as ‘account’, ‘downloads’ etc. Can this be changed? Where would an employer do other things such as manage incoming applications, and see bookmarked candidates?

Thanks so much for your help, and my apologies if I’ve missed any existing comments on similar queries!

Best wishes, Lucy

Hi there Lucy!

Hope you are doing well and thank you for your questions today!

Question: 1. It sounds like Employers are not automatically asked to log in or create an account with a password when adding jobs (http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/1047-how-do-i-add-a-password-field-to-the-listing-submission-form) – is that correct? Sorry if I misunderstood the article!

Answer: Users can create an account using the submission form. At the top of the form it does ask the user to login if they have an account. See here: https://cloudup.com/cZnBbLXnvi2

Within the settings, if you wish you can hide the submission form altogether and get users to Login/Register if they try to access the submission form.

Question: 2. For jobs (and ideally also for resumes) – can you create subcategories eg Marketing would be a category, with Digital / Social Media / or whatever as subcategories?

Answer:Yes the WP Job Manager plugin allows for the creation of categories and subcategories.

Question: 3.

Answer: That is a default setting for Wp Job Manager, but you can hide the link to only display for users who are registered preventing this for your own website.

Question: 4. Again, on the extended demo: The employers’ dashboard looks like a store ie it has items such as ‘account’, ‘downloads’ etc. Can this be changed? Where would an employer do other things such as manage incoming applications, and see bookmarked candidates?

Answer: If you wish to allow users to manage applications you will need the Applications Add-on

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando

Hi,

1) Can we hide the job details (such as company name and salary)and restrict applying for job till the employees sign up/register 2) Employees have to sign up account (Have a free trial period to test the website) and be charged accordingly after the trial with the number of applications he/she makes?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well and thanks for your questions.

Question: 1) Can we hide the job details (such as company name and salary)and restrict applying for job till the employees sign up/register

Answer:Out of the box, Jobify or WordPress do not offer a feature to restrict content for users. By default, users will be able to view all content, but if you wish to restrict content, you can use something like Restrict Content Pro . See here for more information. http://jobify.astoundify.com/category/413-restrict-content-pro

Question: 2) Employees have to sign up account (Have a free trial period to test the website) and be charged accordingly after the trial with the number of applications he/she makes?

Answer: The Restrict Content Pro plugin will allow you to create a trial subscription for users to view and use your website. When it comes to submitting jobs and restricting a number of job posts a user can make you will need to create, a Listing Package

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

1.How can i add apply now link on each job lsiting in find a job so candidates can apply directly from that page without visiting individual company profile, 2. Is there a way u can add checklist to select company and than apply directly from find a job page so multiple companies can be send application in one go

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, something is not possible out of the box. To achieve something like this would require custom code to customize the theme.

We don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Hey there!

In order to allow candidates on your website, you will need the Resume Manager plugin. This will add all Candidate features.

Hello and congrats on the great theme! ;)

I would like to change the content of the sidebar, add more stuff like a banner at the top of the blog.

Hi Fernando! Thanks for the fast reply. It seems that I have to buy more license support because I’ve bought the theme for more than 6 months, so I have no right to more support… And I’ve never used it before…

The blog pages overall do not offer much ability to customize them besides the widgets. If you really wish to edit them you will need to add custom code to customize the styling yourself.

We don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP CurveEnvato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

hi there presales questions: 1. may i know if i can make something like userpro such that i can have my registered user to post their custom form profile ? i mean e.g. their avaialble time, their expected salary range and etc.

2. can i make the filter page : https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/find-a-job/

in a way that it can show the user profile picture?

3. how to make the user registration available in faceboook integration pls?

Hi again,

Glad you are enjoying our Jobify theme.

Unfortunately, there is no integration of custom filters available with the theme at this time. This is for both jobs and candidates.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you have any further questions let me know!

Cheers! Fernando

hi there, may i know is there any update so that i can amend the filter options? e.g. if i allow my user to add their 1. Gender 2. nationality

can these be available in the ajax filter option in here? https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/find-a-job/?search_keywords=&search_location=&search_categories%5B%5D=17&submit=Search&search_region=&filter_job_type%5B%5D=#s=1

thanks!

it seems that USD69 but in the demo it in fact requires many much more other plugins such as the WP job manager and resume manager a lot etc. do make things available?

Hey there!

At this time there is no setting to add custom filters. You can add filters should you wish using custom code. See here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-adding-a-salary-field-for-jobs/

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Does the Job detail page still display map of the job location?

For example if the location is added for the job on the demo, will the map be displayed?

https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/job/senior-ux-designer/

Cannot find info on the Documentations.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Only the location of the posting is displayed at the top of the page. There is no map feature available for a single job post page.

Hope this answers your question.

Kind Regards, Fernando

Hi there!

I really like the theme but I am thinking about a different concept, I would like to know if it is possible to change the payment method. I mean that it is not the employer who post the job, but it is the candidate who post his offer and when the employer needs someone hire him and pays a quantity for this project. It is kind of a freelance marketplace.

Thank you

Kind regards,

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well!

Something like this is possible using the Resume Manager plugin and the WC Paid Listings plugin. Which will allow you to create packages for resume submission and allow you to charge only candidates to upload their resume to your website!

Hope this helps you out today!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

I think I have explained it in a bad way. What I want is charging the employer but not for posting but for hiring, so there is no charge for anyone until the employer hire the freelancer. I hope you understand me better now. Thank you

Thank you for clarifying!

Unfortunately, there is no feature like that available with Jobify. The only close alternative would be using Restrict Content Pro you charge employers a subscription in order access the Candidate pages and contact them.

Jobify and WP Job Manager do not have a feature where a user gets charged for contacting candidates.

Hope this answers your questions.

Cheers! Fernando

Hi, where can I edit and translate the content of the page “submit-your-resume”? Many thanks for your support

hello, your theme can integrate reccuring payment? and integrate buddy press or other plugin with company and professional profil for create a social network Job like linkedin?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well and thanks for your questions today!

Question: your theme can integrate reccuring payment?

Answer: Yes using both the WC Paid Listings plugin and WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin you will be able to create subscription packages for your users.

Question: integrate buddy press or other plugin with company and professional profil for create a social network Job like linkedin?

Answer: The BuddyPress plugin is not officially supported by our theme but can be added. We just have not added any styling to the plugin for our theme and will need to be added if you wish. It will work but the styling just won’t match our themes.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

ok, i will be interest to see how integrate buddypress or ultimate members for create a social network professionnal job portal.

Unfortunately, we do not have a preview of this. I also have not used the Ultimate members feature with Jobify. This one would require more than CSS to have it fully compatible. As Jobify does not offer full support.

Cheers! Fernando

Good day,

I am about to buy your theme but I want find out if I can use visual composer on your homepage because my client wants entry text animations (i.e. as you scroll down the website, the text coming from the left, right or bottom. And visual composer has such features

Thank you

Hi there,

Jobify uses Widgets to allow you to create your page layout. Unfortunately, there is next to no support for visual composer when using Jobify. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

hi there team Astoundify

I have two questions that require your assistance :

1 I have already brought the jobify theme and i would like to know if there is a quick way to make the jobify theme look like the listify theme if i buy the additional plug ins or do i have to buy the theme again?

2 With the jobify theme I would like to know if there is a plugin that you would recommend to do the following : when a new listing is posted to the site that listing is then auto posted to my faceboook page?

thank you in advance for your assistance with these enquiries.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well!

Question: 1 I have already brought the jobify theme and i would like to know if there is a quick way to make the jobify theme look like the listify theme if i buy the additional plugins or do i have to buy the theme again?

Answer: Unfortunately, depending on the extent of this it will require custom work to make Jobify look like Listify. In particular, both Jobify and Listify have different settings that prevent Jobify the ability to work like Listify.

It would just be better and easier to simply purchase Listify.

Question:2 With the jobify theme I would like to know if there is a plugin that you would recommend to do the following : when a new listing is posted to the site that listing is then auto-posted to my facebook page?

Answer: At this moment Jobify we have not tested Jobify with a plugin that offers a feature like that. I know there are some available but we have not used any at this time.

If you have any further questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi! I am interested in your superb theme. I wan to know if it is possible to close job offers, i mean, only the registered users can view the offers because I want to sell a subscription. Is it possible? Thank you

Hi there!

Out of the box, you can hide what menu items are displayed for guests, and have different menu items for logged in users, but aside from that the theme does not offer a restriction system.

I can suggest using the Restrict Content Pro add-on which will allow restricting content for users till they purchased a subscription. See here for more information: Restrict Content Pro.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando
