possible to ad facebook videos, now are YT,Vimeo and DM.. and gifs! and a preview thumbnail if i upload a self hosted video

hi admin.. why you need my page login? i just asked if you make it happen in the next update that we can ad facebook videos and gifs in the upload field.

now is this: Input link of video, support: Youtube, Vimeo, DailyMotion please ad facebook videos!

and for self hosted video please ad a preview image, when i upload a self hosted video there is no thumbnail… and maybe upload gif is possible in future update.

Sorry because I didn’t understand your questions, If that is only questions you just mentioned, you don’t need to send login details anymore.

To display thumbnails for self-hosted video posts. Please add featured image for that post.

For facebook video, I will check if it is possible, I will consider add it in next versions.

no its not working, i use the blog classic layout, and there you can play the videos direct in newsfeed. and there is no preview image for the video also when i have a featured thumbnail. printscreen here—> http://de.tinypic.com/r/ok5vtu/9

The classic layout will display all format types. If your post is video post it will display video iframe instead of the featured thumbnail.

It seems the issue due to your video doesn’t thumbnail cover, so It will show black. You can try to use another format layout as grid and list, or try to use another video or you can add the cover thumbnail for that video.

and how i can add the cover thumbnail for that video, i buy the theme because i want show video direct in the newsfeed and i use a thumbnail for self hosted video..

Yes, the theme displays direct video iframe if you use classic layout but it also includes self-hosted video.

If you want to use the featured image for hosted video posts, we need to change it in PHP. If you really to do it, please send me your site login details and FTP details via support tab, I will help you, or you can ask to refund the theme, I will be pleased to approve.

it works only when i have grid or list, for Block 3 (Classic) and play video direct in feed its not working.. to bad

For added the video playlist, you can use the video playlist block of Ruby composer and select format is video.
