Hello, unfortunately in the current version sidebars on single products pages are not supported. We will add the support in the next update, which will be uploaded to Themeforest by the end of the week.

The best way is to delete old plugin anps_theme_plugin and than you will get notification to install the newest version of plugin. If there won’t be notification, you can find it in appearance -> install plugins.

The plugins can be installed under Appearance – Install Plugins.
Regarding their activation, unfortunately this feature is available only for direct customers for both plugins. Envato does not provide a license for us to share with our customers and we can only include the plugins in our theme.
We do provide updates for both plugins. To update, simply remove the plugins under Plugins. Once unistalled you will be able to install the latest version under Appearance – Install Plugins.

So how do we update visual composer? It comes with the theme, but I don’t see how to update unless I pay extra.

Set the Menu Type under Appearance – Theme options – Page setup to the 2nd type. This menu type has the same menu white background for both sub pages and the home page.

I upgraded the theme and the Visual Composer that comes with it and now pretty much my entire site is broken – the shortcodes all show in raw form on the front end rather than the output that should be showing.

You will also need to update anps_theme_plugin. The easiest way is to disable and delete plugin and than (you get message) install it. You can also find it in appearance -> install plugins.

We have not done any testing for AdSense, but it should work fine with the official plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-publisher/ If you find any issues, we will fix them as soon as possible.
When uploading theme to WP, I receive an error message saying “The zip file must include a file named screenshot.png or screenshot.jpg.”. I cannot proceed with the upload. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have moved past that error, now have the following error “There is already a theme called accounting by a different author. Please change the name of your theme in style.css and upload it again.” There is no way for me to change the style.css. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is strange, we see the ticket is added and it is set to “Pending”. You should have also received an email notification.

How to use vc_column shortcode? its really confused
Hello, we recommend using Visual Composer and not directly writing shortcodes, as editing the content is much easier.
If you do want to write them directly then this is an example of a 2 column layout:
[vc_row] [vc_column width="1/2"][/vc_column] [vc_column width="1/2"][/vc_column] [/vc_row]
This means you first add the vc_row then vc_columns inside of it. You write the size of the column using the width attribute.

Hello, sorry to hear that. Sorry, I just retested our theme and noticed that we require Visual Composer in order to work. Do you have it installed? If not, you should see a notice or an option to install it under Appearance – Install Plugins. You can still use shortcodes, but the plugin is required in order to work.

But I would like to replace the photos in the theme with the kind of photos with more more Asian looking people as our customers are mostly Chinese. Can you please advise how to achieve this? If you guys have photos which include Chinese/Asian looking people (photos suitable to be used in the wordpress site of an accounting firm), I am happy to buy them.

Hello, sorry to hear you are having difficulties with our theme. You can try using the default WordPress importer to import the demo content (Tools – Import). The XML files are located in accounting/classes/importer/dummy1 to dummy 6.
Please also open a ticket at http://anpsthemes.freshdesk.com/ where we can also help you import the DB directly, if the default importer will not work. For this we will require access to your server. Note that because of the weekend, we may complete the DB import on Monday.

Hello, yes it is possible. To turn on Visual Composer for portfolio posts (or other post types), go to Visual Composer settings – Role Manager and under Admin set Post types from “Pages only” to “Custom”. Once changed, a list of all the post types will be shown. Select the ones you need and click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.
