We have installed and created our website with this perfect theme, but we have a question about the top menus. We have created a menu, design, illustration, motion, etc and in each menu are different types of work. The problem is that if you rollover menus will appear on the work and then the click, but if you click the name of the section, you go to a page where there is nothing. As we do so that when you press section, do not go anywhere, but to continue running the rollover?

Great theme!
I have the following problem, my frontpage is a movie and it is playing fine, but when I want to change to another page it takes like 5 seconds or longer till the site responds.
I have cable internet up to 80mb/s so thats not the problem…
I found out that it happens in FF8 , in Safari I do not have the problem…

Hi Vincent,
It could depend on many things. Nothing intercepts clicked links from the theme. The browser get’s full control of it.
It could be something to do with how FF8 reacts or probably flushes data after loading a movie.

I followed your instructions to add more sidebars from ten to fifteen. It seems to work and i can add five more sidebars in the theme options, but in the widgets are still ten visible.
How to fix that?

Change sidebar count to 15 as you’ve set.
And just to make sure everything is set in pages and posts
edit page-metaboxes.php line 56 ( change 10 to 15 )
edit post-metaboxes.php line 55 ( same as above )

Fullscreen images can carry links in the description. The captions field can carry HTML tags. If you put an HTML href tag it should work.

Hi, I have a problem with the Thumbnail gallery options. I leave the field Optional Thumbnail empty, so that it should used the Featured Image, however this doesn’t work. If I provide optional thumbnail image path, it will show. Any suggestion why the featured image isn’t automatically cropped and used as thumbnail?

I have bought the template. Really really impressed 5 stars! Just a couple questions if you dont mind:
1. I am trying to change the positioning of the navbar and logo. I want the logo to sit to the left of the navbar and for both the navbar and logo sit to the left of the screen.Is this possible and would I go about this?
2. How do I change the width of the navbar
3. I want the text throughout the whole site as helvetica. How do I change this and how do I change the text in the nav bar to helvetica (non caps)

Hi,
There is no single code that can get those customizations done. But it can be done. I’d recommend going through a CSS developer.
1. edit css/menu/superfish.css
You’ll need to modify the .top-menu-wrap
Best way would be to position : relative; and use a bottom: value as you’ve said in the second comment.
The logo can be adjusted the same way.
2. Width of the Nav bar is in the following class
.homemenu
The padding values can adjust the width.
3. Edit style.css
The body tag.
font: 12px/18px "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
You can remove the “Helvetica Neue”.
There’s some other font associations. Look for the term ‘font-family’ and remove any of which you don’t want. When removed they will refer to the body font family which is set to Helvetica.
To remove caps from the menu.
css/menu/superfish.css
Remove from class .homemenu
text-transform: uppercase;

The category pages show the image defined in theme options.
You can edit the includes/bg_image.php to check Category ID and show an image per category. Will require modification of the file. If you’re contact a WP developer this will be an easy job.

Yes , all of them are customizable. You can either replace the icons in images folder with your own – with the same image dimensions as currently set, or customize the CSS style file and change the dimensions as well as use new images.
The CSS modifications will need some familiarity with CSS styles. If you can hire a CSS developer these changes will be very easy to change.
Otherwise you can just overwrite the images files in the image folder with your own. This won’t need code modification. ( in this case the images will need to be in the same dimensions as the ones you’re overwriting )

I’m really keen not to have any drop down menus on the top nav. Can I choose to have these or not?
For example when someone clicks directly on ‘portfolio’ on the nav I want the user to be taken to the ‘2columportfoliopage’ then when a user clicks on a image I want them to be taken to a ‘fullscreen slideshow’ for that project. Can you tell me if this is going to be possible? and whether I can choose not to have dropdowns. Thanks!

The menus are built using the WordPress menu builder. You can have total control of either having drop downs or not. Or rearrange the menu items when ever you feel like.

Great thanks for your help on my previous questions. If you dont mind answering my other questions it would be most appreciated.
1.What a want to do is have it so that if the user clicks on ‘portfolio’ I dont want it to open ‘slider gallery’ as it currently does. I want it to open the ‘2 column portfolio’. And then when you click on an item it doesn’t open the lightbox but links to a ‘fullscreen with captions page’ page that I set up.
2. Can I edit fonts/font sizes etc and the social icons in the nav bar?
3. Can I change the design of the nav bar. I want a black/non gradient nav bar. Am I able to edit this?
4. Can I have the images in the slideshow come from the right hand side?
5. I dont want any drop down menus from the top navigation. Can I define if I would like these or not?
6. Under the shortcodes can I use the ‘fullwidth columns’ template and place images in there? Basically I just want a fullwidth page with several images of the same size and some text.

1. You already get the option to link your portfolio items to other pages.
2. Yes. This is easy if you’re familiar with CSS .
3. Yes. Very easy modifying the CSS code.
4. The option is available. Along with other transition effects as follows.
- Fullscreen Slideshow transitions
- 0-None
- 1-Fade
- 2-Slide Top
- 3-Slide Right
- 4-Slide Bottom
- 5-Slide Left
- 6-Carousel Right
- 7-Carousel Left
5. Yes. You can simply omit having any subcategories in the menu builder. Indented items in the menu builder creates the drop down menus.
6. Yes of course. You can generate thumbnails using the thumbnail shortcode or place images using the pictureframe shortcode. You can even place images manually using wordpress contents tool bar.
