Is there a way I can move the header add on my website to the far right?
At the moment it is too close to the website logo on the left.

In this case add this to your custom css:

That will float it to the right.

All the posts on my front page- www.pittalkasia.com- are daily news posts. I also have longer feature stories on this website. Is there a way I can add posts for my feature articles in the middle of the page. Say after the second row of news posts? And also make the feature posts sticky?
And then arrange video posts below. So the blogroll doesn’t just have all posts in chronological order?

Hi, it is possible to do that but you will need to do some coding. If you have some skills with php you can take the existing query as example and modify it to suit your needs.

For Ad Sidebar 2 it says it should appear in the middle of the homepage.
But it looks like it appears just under the slider header and not in the middle of the blogroll.
I also have an ad at the bottom which is fine, but I would like an ad right in the middle of the posts on the homepage.
Is this an error?

The ad sidebar 2 can’t be moved unless you move it in the code and it’s meant to be right under the slider like you see in the demo.
You can put a sidebar beside the blogroll by setting the name of the desired sidebar and choosing in which side you want it to show. http://take.ms/p1ewa

Hi,
I just visited my site and noticed that the header has changed scheme from what it is set at in Layout Settings, and there is also now some weird cartoon graphics on my header.
I have not made any changes in Theme Panel. Why has this happened and how do I revert back to the proper setting and remove the horrible cartoon graphics?

The format of my posts has changed as well- Headings are now in the centre instead of the left side, and the dark background of the widget titles has disappeared. I’m sure I haven’t changed anything.

Wow this is strange. I have never seen that custom CSS before. One thing I’ve really liked about your template is that I haven’t had to use custom CSS yet. I definitely did not past this. Is it possible I’ve been hacked or if this has automatically appeared due to another setting change I’ve done? Should I delete all this custom css? Thanks.
Well.. if you were been hacked you wouldn’t notice at first glance. They normally use server resources to spam others. There is a possibility but I don’t think so.
Just remove the undesired code and make a backup of the site, just in case you were right with the hacking.

Sure, it corresponds to the primary color defined in the options panel.
Which options panel? I changed the primary and secondary colours in Theme Panel but that hasn’t changed the colours on Frontpage. I would prefer to have the post border hover colour red and not the default yellow.

All your content should be kept as it was and you don’t have to use the child theme if you don’t want to.

I can’t find instructions on how to install to wordpress. There is no documentation in the file I download when I purchased the theme. Is installation as easy as just uploading the theme to wordpress then activating it, and is the design dashboard etc the same as wordpress, or everything is different?

I left all boxes blank because I thought I had to ignore that as per the note written above. Is this incorrect and will it effect the theme? And for step 6 Setting Default Themes, if I want to use the Sport theme I paste the tele settings.txt file from the sport folder? Thanks

It shouldn’t, but if you find something not working as expected you can always start from scratch with the theme documentation on your side making sure you follow every step as described.

Thank You for the reply. The suggested modification does not change the Sticky Post arrangement to Random. It change the posts arrangement below the stickypost to Random instead.
What im looking at : 1. Sticky Post = Random. 2. Blogroll = Recent.

i been struggling with the theme for the last two days and i have not been able to get the blogroll to work. i set the categories and slugs as the online documentation says (how to build a site from scratch like on live preview “shockmag”) with no results. i can only get one category to “work” but the post displayed are old or deleted and to make matters worse from another category.

I’m trying to change the theme language. I set the language in settings>general but the frontpanel keep using English.
How to change that?
Some language files are not compatible with what WP trying to set.

Hi again, it is updated for new installations but if you don’t want to download the theme again you can follow this steps:
1. Deactivate and uninstall the plugin
2. Reload the page and you’ll get a notice on top like this http://take.ms/oUgPh
3. Click on “Begin installing plugin”
4. Install and activate

Hey there, loving the theme so far. When I was playing around with the settings, I noticed my site went completely blank even though my cursor can still interact with elements on the page.
In the console I noticed this error: jquery.st.js:367 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘split’ of undefined at HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous>
If this clue helps, I was adjusting my social icons in the layout panel
I figured out the problem. In my wordpress General Settings, I changed my Site Address so it was different from my Wordpress Address since I’m using WPEngine.
In the file jquery.st.js, line 367 this causes an issue: st(this).attr(‘href’).split( stData3 )[1]
stData3 is different from what exists in st(this).attr(‘href’). Therefore, there’s only one item in your split variable, and [1] doesn’t exist. That causes a failure and only shows a blank page.

Hello, i don’t want to use it, but even if , it’s an option on your theme then that should not give an error, you should code that with if function exist … for me it’s a bug :/
