Hello,

Only Administrators can Post Jobs in the portal. Other users should not be allowed to Post Jobs. Is this possible using this Theme & Wp Job Manager?

Thanks.

Hi there,

It’s great to hear from you.

You can simply remove the submission page. This will prevent users from submitting jobs on your website and only admins can create job posts.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi, Like Job Type row in the front end to select full time/ part time etc option. Is it possible to add one more field in the job posting detail to select some other options like fresher/male/female applicants only and show in the front end to select for filtering criteria.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thank you for reaching out.

To create additional fields for your job posts you can use the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. This will allow you to create custom fields for the job post details.

Although you can add custom fields using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, there is no out of box solution to add custom fields as search filters. At this time, the only option to accomplish this is by adding custom code to the theme.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

EDIT: sorry I found the answer to my question in the search bar…

Hi, I currently use a theme for my recruitment website that no longer receives support or updates. I am therefore looking to change.

I want to ask if Jobify uses Visual Composer and revolution slider, as I am very familiar with these plugins.

Please can you email me some screenshots of the back end, so I can see how it works from a design point of view. As I am changing themes, Id want to make sure I can achieve a similar layout/feel.

Many thanks

Dino

Hi Dino,

It is grat to hear from you today!

Just to confirm, at this time Jobify offers minimal support for the use of Visual Composer. You can read further here: Does you theme support Visual Composer?

Regarding Sliders, you can use any slider of your choice with the theme. You can use the Slider widget with any plugin you wish.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi.

I am interested in buying the theme but I have a question, when I click on the apply for job button on a job application page Is it possible to change the contact form that appears in the Popup? For example: add more fields.

this form of contact is a plugin or should it be modified via code?

Thank you very much.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thank you for your questions today!

No code required! You will be able to manage your forms from the back-end. By default, you can use Ninja Forms to create your contact forms. You can read further here on how to Setup You forms.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hello,

Your Jobify demo site is very fast, which hosting provider do you use?

Kind regards Christopher

Hi there Christopher,

We use Pagely to host for our demos.

Kind regards,

Fernando

Is there a demo version to see how the backend works and what it looks like? That is something you kind of want to see before purchase..

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

Unfortunately, we do not have a back-end demo for our jobify theme. You can access the front-end of both our Jobify demos if you wish. I can also provide you wish screenshots of some of the back-end if you wish to see how some features work.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

https://boolerang.co.uk/my-account/ is this site using your theme, is it possible to make your theme similar to it,

How to check how many candidates has viewed the job posting in employer dashboard and also on the frontend.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

The website you provided is, in fact, using our Jobify theme. So you will be able to have something like it.

You can use the WP Job Manager Stats Plugin for employers to see how many visits they get on their job posts from their dashboard page. Although you do see the page visits, it does not display this information on the job post itself, or it shows the candidates who came to view the page are.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi, I’ve set up a test site to do the upgrade to version 3.5, I was on version 2. something. It’s all worked ok, apart from the main nav. I can’t get the text colour to change to white. There’s no option in the customiser where I think there should be, and I can’t seem to override it with css – I can change the font size, make it uppercase etc, but not the colour…

The test site is here: http://www.avantitest.com.gridhosted.co.uk

What are the demo login details for candidate and employer?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, we do not have any credentials created for customers, but you can submit a dummy job to create a employer account for you. This will grant you access to all the front-end pages.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hope you are doing well today.

Can you email me directly at fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com and I can send you a patched release that is compatible with older versions of PHP.

Nice Theme. Quick question: What workaround would you recommend to hide the Google Maps on job listings on mobile? It seems users are having issues scrolling down, while so much screen estate is covered with the map… https://armyofchefs.com/jobs/

Hi there,

The simplest option would be using CSS to decrease the height of the map, or hide the map all together on mobile devices. If you need assistance with this, we can help through our support!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Any suggestions or will there be a fix for the next update

Hi there!

Can you please tell me which file drives the content of the Featured Listing page? (not the list view, but the detail/page view) When updating to the new version a few things broke and I am having a hard time finding the template for Featured Listings to fix an issue.

All I need is the name of the file that drives the featured listing page, I cannot post in the support portal because I did not purchase the license, you make it very difficult for people trying to help other people that bought the plugin…

Hi there,

If another user purchased the theme and you are helping them set it up. Feel free to email me directly(fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com) with the users theme license and we can help you out.

Kind regards,

Fernando

Thank you Fernando, that is a feasible solution.

Hi,

We have a client that has your theme which we are setting up. We love it but have a question. Our client wants the front end popup login to redirect to a page based on role employer to page X and candidate to page Y.

Is that possible? (can not be done with peters login redirect)

Gr Erik

Hi Erik,

Jobify out of the box uses the default redirect settings that come with WordPress and WooCommerce and there is no setting that redirects users according to user roles.

If you need assistance regarding Jobify, please contact support!

Cheers! Fernando

new install and first error Can’t use method return value in write context in themes/jobify/vendor/astoundify/content-importer/app/ImportManager.php on line 46. Site okay, admin panel dead

I have now 3 times installed a fresh wordpress install even before activating the theme, previewing it gets me this error. Something is wrong with your download.

Thank You that did it – Thanks for Your generous Support :) !!!

Glad to hear this helped! :)

At the companies page is meta title “blog” fixed finally in this update?
