Hi, is compatible for moodle 3.2? and is multilanguage?

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. The theme is already fully compatible with Moodle 3.2 and it will work fine with this version. Moodle offers many features to support multiple languages, Theme Lambda is for example compatible with the Moodle multilanguage filter.

Since the last update the menu doesn’t expand anymore on mobile view. http://frooc.de/pix/expandmenu.jpg

Sorry, I still can’t confirm your issue. Please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) to share some screencasts or screenshots. Perhaps we are talking about different things?

No. I just found out that this only happens when you’re logged in. As guest the menu works fine!

This is really just a comments area and not for support requests. The code for the custom menu is exactly the same regardless of whether you’re logged in or not. I can not reproduce your issue. If you want me to take a look into this matter at your site, please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ).

Hello,

Does this awesome theme support RTL?

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
You just have to choose your rtl language in the language settings and you’ll be fine: https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Language_settings#Site_administration_settings
In general, Theme Lambda provides a native RTL layout support. Everything is horizontally flipped including dropdown main menu and blocks.

Hi there, do you have an ecommerce capability in the Lambda Theme?

Hi,
please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – this way I can answer you in more detail.

i sent two emails just now. regards, Shaminda.

I have just replied to your emails

URGENT URGENT: I have bought this theme and is now going through one particular bug. The slideshow transition shows the first image and does not show the next one. It just places the image icon at the top right corner. In fact, it shows only one image and does not show the rest. I am developing A site and with only 2 days to launch I am simply stuck with not knowing how to fix it. Details below: - Only one image will show. - Captions working properly. - Lambda Theme for Moodle 3.2 - Moodle version = 3.2.1+

Please let me know what needs to be done to fix this.

Hi,
I have just replied to your email.

Hi, I got issue with the carrousel that always loading and never show the picture. Can you guide me how to make it work?

I just re-install my moodle to the latest version. and I am using the latest version (downloaded a week ago). I’ll contact you via support page

The page says that I need to renew support and pay another bucks?

Hi,
don’t worry: You don’t have to renew your support license. Of course I still answer to support requests even after the official support period if these requests are technical issues about the theme’s built-in features.

I just bought this theme. I would like to know If this theme is compatible with version 3.3 Moodle. Thanks.

Hi,
the theme is fully compatible with the latest Moodle version 3.2.1 – but Moodle 3.3 is not released yet. The download at moodle.org is only a development version of the incoming Moodle 3.3 and should be used only for testing and development purposes. You can install the theme also at a Moodle 3.3 dev site and it should work fine, but a full compatibility can not be assured before Moodle 3.3 is officially released.

What are the demo access data?

Thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
However, I don’t plan to provide access data for an admin role. As an administrator, you could delete contents or change the theme of the demo site. Even if I backup the site, there might be visitors who watch the demo in this state. I hope for your understanding…
But every course in the demo site is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like. If you want to know how the theme can get customized and how the theme options are set up, you can take a look at the online documentation: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html

At the theme’s demo site, you can also see some screenshots of the admin settings page (-> slideshow): http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/view.php?id=3&section=3

The theme follows the Moodle standards and so of course all admin settings, activity modules and the course creation will work in the way you are used to.

Hi,

I sent you an email as I cant seem to recreate the home page as in your demo, i cant find where to add the text and video / icon-boxes section / parallax section / and image and text section.

Wanted to check you had received the email and would be really grateful for your help!

Thank you Dan (dduncanuk@yahoo.co.uk)

Hi,
I have already visited your site and added some sample sections to your frontpage. I have sent you an email with a list of things I have done. Please check your inbox again.

We have also just realized that the audio players have turned into video play buttons with the “current time, duration time, loaded” etc texts in the middle of the answers. I can’t add the screenshot here but it looks like a complete mess. Can you please help us?

We sent you an email ith the screenshot.

The problem is solved. Thank you so much for your help!

You’re welcome! :)

Hi, we’ve just upgraded to Moodle 3.2+ and the question numbers in the Quiz navigation block have become invisible! Could it be because the background color and the quiz question numbers are both white? When we try Clean and Aardvark themes, the numbers become visible again but we have this problem with Lambda at the moment. Urgent help please…

Hi,
don’t worry, that’s not a big issue and can easily be solved. But for support requests, please contact me via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ).

We are having some hard time changing the fonts size with this theme, as it involves using CSS; hence alot of things have to be accounted for; because different elements font size/line height/..etc are using prefixed sizes and not related to each other (using %, em, ems).

We hope that you reconsider this in the near future because the default 13px body font size is just too small for most screens today.

Hi,
the font site can be changed with a single custom css addition at the theme settings. Please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – this way I guide you through the necessary steps.
But you’re right: I will definitely consider to optimize the settings options for the fonts.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

I have recently added the “Lato” google font to the list of fonts provided in your theme. During that course, I have noticed that you are using a hardcoded “body { line-height: 25px }”.

The use of “25px” instead of “2em” for instance, caused any increase in font-size, to mess with (for example) the height of “div.header” elements, and the left icons would go outside the boundaries.

Nevertheless, I am glad you agree that the fonts settings can be better pulled off, especially for people with zero technical background (eg, most clients :))

PS: our support license has ended a while back, and frankly I have no intention to renew it for just some CSS hacks, i’m sure you understand :) thanks anyway.

In red box from image: How to hide “Available Courses” from page home?

Hi,
please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – this way I can answer you in more detail.

How do I make the carousel line up with the ”Explore Lambda Theme” block as it appears on the demo. http://preview.themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/full_screen_preview/9442816
Hi,
images, texts and URL for the carousel can be individually specified for each slide at the theme’s settings options. To access the configurable options go to “Administration” > “Site Administration” > “Appearance” > “Themes” > “Theme-Lambda” > “Frontpage Carousel”. You can show up to 16 slides here. You can also take a look at the theme’s online documentation for a more detailed description: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/options_frontpage.html

The “Explorer Theme Lambda”-container is defined in the textfield for “Additional HTML Content”. You can copy and paste the HTML from the file in the attachment. You can also find some more infos for this element in the theme’s documentation: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/content_boxes.html

Thank you

You’re welcome!

With the previous version of this theme, I had a perfectly working HTML <form> within the “Course Summary” field of Moodle.

Now, since upgrading to the latest version (1.55 – 2016120509) of this theme the HTML Form is not displaying at all, this form has <input type=”image” name=”submit”>, I looked at the browsers “Page source”, everything between and including <form>-</form> tag is being completely omitted.

Interestingly it displays correctly in Moodle’s “Edit Settings” course summary editor HTML display.

I am using “Moodle 3.1.2+ (Build: 20161104)”.

Please help…

Hi,
an update of the theme shouldn’t have any effect on your contents. Please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and send me the login credentials for an admin access, I will take a look at your issue.

Hi! I want to know if l can use the Oauth2 plugin and the moodle login at the same time, for the user´s login.?

Hi,
I’ve just replied to your email.

I must recommend buy this theme without doubts. The price is very low looking the next: -It’s the best support that I have received. Moodle is not easy and Eva is always helping. And in addition, she’s very quickly. -It’s the unique theme which has improvements and new releases. The rest are stopped with their first versions. If you buy it you will be able to download the new updates whenever you want. -The theme has got many possibilities. In general it’s complicate to make a good design in moodle, but with this theme seems easier. I will show my website when I will finish it, hope in this week. It’s looking really nice! :) Many thanks for your effort eva!

Many thanks for your kind words! :)

Is it compatible with Moodle +3.2 already?

I don’t see that mentioned in the change log/description/software version; but only on one of the banners.

Please confirm. Thanks.

Hi,
yes, the theme will work fine with Moodle 3.2. I am currently implementing some of the new UI features of Moodle 3.2 for the next theme updates and then these features will also be mentioned in the changelog.

Thanks.

Hi I have just updated to moodle 3.2+ a test site with version 1.53 of lambda theme Carrousel on front page stopped working after update as you can see: http://www.my3is.fr/prepart/ Any ideas why? Thank you Roger

Hi,
I have just visited your site and the carousel is displayed correctly. Perhaps just a caching issue?

Just for clarity, it is page-bottom carrousel, not top slider Emptied cache, and meantime had updated to lamda 155, but still same problem whether in FF, Chrome or Opera: only loader displays Roger

Hi,
that’s strange: The last time that I visited your site the carousel was showing up correctly, but now there’s only the loading animation – please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and send me the login credentials for an admin access, I will take a look at your settings.

Hello! Great theme! Few questions: 1) how can I access the basic configuration of the theme like favicon settings etc. after first install? 2) It seems that on the course front page (list of courses) the course images are not scalable with bootstrap, is this true? 3) Is it possible to some how have two column layout for the course front page list meaning that there would be two list of courses side by side + the block column for administration, profile blocks etc.? Thanks!
