how can i download the demo to my site?
Hi,
You can go to Mikado Options > Import, and choose to import All content with attachments. Then you will get the layout from our demo site. After that you will have to import sliders. Search the whole directory you’ve downloaded from Theme Forest for folder named revslider, there you will find all slider demos. Then go to Slider Revolution > Import and import them all to achieve the same look you see at our demo site.

Hello, Thanks for your answer. My other worry is about Visual Composer. I’m not buildin this website for myself but to help my teachers. I told them WordPress was very easy and showed them how it worked. What will happen when Visual Composer will be installed. I wish the whole thing would remain as simple as WP. Is it going to be easy for them to change a page? Or to add a blog post or an event to their calendar? Thnks in advance,

Visual Composer makes things even easier. It enables you to edit pages visually, rather then having to code. You can watch some videos on youtube to see how plugin works.

Hi, thanks for a great template. We have imported the demo content and successfully migrated a site however, in the main navigation, the search icon is sitting below the main navigation (in the breadcrumb area) not right from main navigation on scrolling down the page, the last item in the navigation menu (contact) moves down to the breadcrumb area also. in the widgets, we have the mikado search in the right from main navigation so we can’t understand why it is sitting below the navigation bar and why the last item in the navigation moves down on scroll. You can import it from Mikado Options > Import. There you can set parts of the content and choose whether you want attachments or not. That way you get all the styles you see at our demo site. Calendar is broken because plugin manufacturer changed the styling of their plugin which caused overriding of our existing CSS.
The compatibility will be released in new version of the theme, so it will work after you perform theme update.

Hi there, I purchased this theme and tried it for a few days without uploading the demo. My site was fine. After uploading the demo, my website´s speed slowed down significantly. I wrote about my concern here and was told that the support group can help me solve the issue after I´m done learning from the demo. I have deleted everything I can see from the demo and the site is still is non-functional. As told, I contacted the support group and they did nothing but sending me a list of things to do which I do not understand. I´m very disappointed now because if I knew this was going to happen, I would have replaced my website with the backup without the demo (which I don´t have anymore since my backups are only for the last 7 days). Now, my only solution is to pay a yearly fee of $90 to GoDaddy for higher server resource limit which I absolutely did not need before the demo. Please offer a functional support without telling me I´m on my own with this mess now. Thank you.
I also asked for the code for newsletter and contact form from support group and did not receive it.
For starter, where are the demo pictures located? I can´t find them under media library, yet they appear on the demo pages of my site. I need to know where they are so I can delete them.

When it comes to site performances, you’ve got pretty nice marks on test, around 80%, only couple of modifications needed to be much better.
When it comes to demo content, it is not optimized because it is only a showcase. Images are not well compressed and there is a lot of content. When you adopt site, it will work much better, just follow instructions of our support team.
When it comes to images, when you import demo, they are stored in media library. To delete them, you should edit elements on your page or to delete media library archive. Just search patiently. Also, when you right click > inspect any image, you can find its path in code.

If we’re talking about lightbox, we’re using third party script, so basically it can’t be changed. The way you see it in the demo is the way it works. It will require custom codding to solve that.

Hi, thanks. I didn’t mean the size of the lightbox, but the size of the video banner itself. in the elements page of ‘video banner’ on your demo the previews are all the same size whereas we would like to customize these. Is that possible?

Is it possible to: 1. add a custom hyperlink to a timetable activity? 2. preview a page in tablet or mobile phone mode while working in the CMS? 3. add a hyperlink to items that are mentioned under ‘Event Hours’ 4. open google maps when clicking on a location (instead of showing address), so that visitors can find directions?

The size of the video banners depends on the holder where it is placed, since it takes 100% of width.
1. No, this is plugin and it has unified layout.
2. It doesn’t have live preview, but you can browse while you work in backend. Changes will take effect once you save and refresh page.
3. Can you send screenshot so we can see?
4. There is no option for that, but you can fix that with CSS or create image with the map which is linked to gmaps. Basically theme embeds regular google map.

Hi, Thanks so much for your quick reply! Regarding 1.: instead of linking a timetable activity to an internal page it must be possible to use a url that links to another website i assume? Re 3.: pls see http://wellspring.mikado-themes.com/events/body-balance/ at the bottom just above the footer there are 4 areas that indicate event hours. We would like to be able to add links to each area. Is that possible?

Unfortunately, both of the elements are being automatically generated, and you can’t add links to them. The only way is to custom code theme and plugin files and try to achieve that.

What exactly do you think when you say it doesn’t work? Can you send some screenshots and name of the device and browser version?
Also, note that the link you sent has comma sing at the and and page doesn’t work. If this is the problem, when you remove comma sign page shows normally.
Also when we inspect on mobile it works.

Thanks, actually I tried again another day and it worked, it may have been the inet that didn’t load the middle of the page, just the titles, headers footers etc.

It took me over 3+ hrs to upload the theme to WP and over 10 tries to import the demo content – And I’m not new to uploading themes to WP. And now that I’m trying to edit content, no photos will load and whenever I try to save my changes, I get error messages. I am beyond frustrated as I have a client eagerly awaiting her new site and I can’t do anything because the theme works so poorly. Also, when I tried to send this as a ticket to your support site, I have only been met with error messages. This is getting super old.
