How many plugins do i need to buy in order to make website like https://digitalmarketingjobs.ie or https://boolerang.co.uk

If I use Gravity form, will it be possible to customize form open after clicking “Apply for Job” ? I would need to ask user option if he is member or not, if he is member he can login and Apply or if he is non member use same form like demo to upload CV and apply.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well! Thank you for all your questions today! :)

Question: How many plugins do i need to buy in order to make website like https://digitalmarketingjobs.ie or https://boolerang.co.uk

Answer: Looks like these websites are currently using the same plugins as our Extended Demo except for the Resume Manager plugin and WooCommerce Social Login plugin.

Question: If I use Gravity form, will it be possible to customize form open after clicking “Apply for Job” ?

Answer: At this time to edit the submission form, you need the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

Question: I would need to ask user option if he is member or not, if he is member he can login and Apply or if he is non member use same form like demo to upload CV and apply.

Answer: When using the Resume Manager plugin you can let logged in users apply with their resume and profile for your jobs. If a user is a guest, then he can upload his resume like the demo.

Question: Is there an option to make job featured? in demo when i post new job, cannot see any option to ask for making job featured for an extra bucks?

Answer: Absolutely! You can create a Listing Package and make a certain package featured to make jobs featured. Our demo’s packages at this time are not featured.

Question: When employed search candidate, where is the option to download the CV/Resume?

Answer: You can add the appropriate widget to download the candidate’s email from the Candidate page.

Question: One more query; Is there any way/plugin to validate employer email domain? ex. employer login with email from gmail/yahoo should now allow to register

Answer: You can see about using a plugin like this to verify their email: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-confirmation-email/

Question: on the job posting page if i add new fields, where those will be displayed by default after post

Answer: Using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin after creating the fields you can output them as widgets and add them to the Job Posting page like the other widgets.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando

Hi Fernando,

Would it be possible to see information on the backend, such as the candidate and client dashboards, and also the admin dashboard?

I’m very close to buying this plugin and this is the last thing I’d like to know before I do buy it.

Thanks.

Hello, I’m in the process of setting up jobify. I have an issue. In website mode when i’m viewing my page it doesn’t display a menu bar instead it displays a “burger” menu icon as if it were in ipad or mobile view. How can i fix this?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out!

Our theme is responsive and will adjust to the size of your device, whether desktop or Mobile. The Menu bar gets condensed on a Tablet or Mobile device and should not on a desktop but this also depends on your monitor you are using.

We can have a better look at this for you through our support if you need assistance.

Kind regards,

Fernando

Thank you! It would be nice to know exactly what is going on and why? If you could determine. I am on a macbook air just to let you know if that helps.

If you could message us over our support we can have a better look into this for you. :)

One final thought off the top of my head is making sure your browser’s zoom level is set to 100%.

Hope to hear from you soon over at our support!

Fernando

Hi there,

Happy New Year and Thank you for your questions today!

Question: Is it possible to have left panel searching criteria as show in this link http://jobcareer.chimpgroup.com/jobs-classic-view/

Answer: At this time the Search Results will appear like our Jobify Extended demo. You would need to customize the themes page to get a layout like that.

Question: we don’t use resume manager plugin; If candidate apply for job, Is that information is stored in DB and file on server?

Answer: Regardless of using the Resume Manager plugin or not it will need to be stored on the Database. Jobify need the Resume Manage plugin in order to allow candidates to submit resumes. Without the plugin Resumes, will not display on Jobify like or demo without Customization.

Hope this answers your questions.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando

Hi, I recently purchased the theme and it’s working great. There’s one thing that’s different with the downloadable version which I don’t know how to change. On the demo site you have drop shadows under the featured jobs and testimonials. Is there a way to do this? On the theme i’ve implemented these shadows are replaced with a stroke and it doesn’t look very good. Thanks

Hello, can the “Apply for Job” be configure in such a way it will take the user directly to the link in another tab or same window?

Hi there!

Thank you for your question today!

At this time a feature like that is not available with the theme and will require custom code to be added to the theme.

I reached out to you through our Support Channel, if you have any further questions regarding this let me know and I will be glad to reply through our Support.

Hello, can you configure so that by clicking “Apply For Job” you see the email or company URL instead of the form?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and Happy New Year!

At this time you can only either add a Submission form to the Job Post or have a Pop-up display with the companies URL. To enable the second option, make sure to no add a Submission form to your Job Posts.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi, I wish to make a job board for remote work. Is there a way to easily remove the location search and fields from each listing and the home / job search pages? Thanks

Hi there!

It is great to hear from you!

There is no out of the box option to hide the search field and submission field. You can hide the search field using CSS. Something we can help you with using Support. As for the Location field on the submission form you can use the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin to manipulate the submission form fields and hide the form fields.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi, thank you for the quick reply. One final question – is there a way to make the payments a recurring monthly subscription using woo commerce? What kind of changes would be required on the front end? I know at the moment you pay per listing (sort of). I just want some clarification on the monetisation of the site. Thanks again

Hi again,

You will be able to add recurring monthly or yearly payments using the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. You will be able to create Subscription packages just like Listing packages, only difference users will be charged recurring payments.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hello,

1. How can I add fields for credit card like (IBAN, security code) because I made a payment and there’s nothing like that for direct bank transfer.

2. I installed the Nav Menu Roles and after that the website is not working anymore, it show HTTP 500 error. I had to upload a backup to make it work. I’m sure that before 3.5 version worked very well.

How can I add custom content to Homepage? For example editing default homepage and adding “Some test content” into textarea does not work. Whatever I add goes to meta tag as <meta name=”description” content=”Some test content” /> In other words I can not add anything to homepage except widgets.

I know that my support has expired, but I think this is question will be helpful for others.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

You can add content to your web pages using the pages widgets. This will allow you to add content to your pages easily. Anything beyond that will require you to customize the theme yourself.

Hope this answers your question!

Hi Fernando,

Could you upload some admin screen-shots to check how it works ? I have some questions.
1/ Does it allow add company in admin and manage job list of specific company ?
2/ Does it allow to register resume in admin?

Thank you. Hope can get answer from you soon!

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

Question: 1/ Does it allow add company in admin and manage job list of specific company ?

Answer: Job Company information like in the front-end is submitted when a user submits a job post. See here to see how it is done in the back-end. All Jobs will be displayed in the back-end to allow you to manage them.

Question: 2/ Does it allow to register resume in admin?

Answer: Yes, just like Job posts, you can create candidate Resumes in the back-end.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi Fernando, Thank you for the quick answer.About question 1, I mean in backend could we add a company directly ( without posting a job in frontend) and filter jobs of a company?

No there is no option to add Company without posting a job just like the front-end. When a Job is submitted a Company is added. There is no option in the back-end to submit a Company only.

Sorry about that.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando

Featured jobs are always shown on top. How can keep order by date and featured jobs highlighted?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

In order to sort all jobs by date will require custom code to achieve this. This is a default setting of the WP Job Manager plugin.

If you need answers to questions regarding Listify, please contact support!

Kind Regards, Fernando

Any reference for customizing? I have tried creating new page with this code [jobs per_page=”5” show_filters=”false”orderby=”date”] but it still displays featured jobs at top.

As mentioned, the WP Job Manager plugin does not have any default setting to accomplish this.

Hi Team,

I have been using JobEngine from EngineThemes for about 4 years now and have about 20000 job listing and 3000 candidate resumes.

I want to change the theme and decided to go with your theme. Can you please advise if there is any chance of migrating my existing data from JobEngine to Jobify.

I have checked some slugs and found they are same for both themes.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for your interest in our theme.

If you need to import your Jobs and Resumes, over to Jobify, you can do so with WP Job Import. You can read further here: How to Import Job, Resume Listings Using WP All Import

Hope this answers your questions.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Thanks.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, a change like this will require additional custom code since it is not possible out of the box.

If you have purchased and have questions regarding Jobify, please contact us through support!

Kind Regards, Fernando

I know this will require additional custom code.I am a developer too.I can see that before the featured jobs there is col-md-4 and if I can set there col-md-3 there will be 4 jobs in a single row.I am unable to find out the location from where I can change that.Would you please tell me?
