Hi

Not sure if i missed it but how can i change the footer widgets amount? I only need 2 columns :/

Thanks

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well!

At this time there is no setting to change the number of columns on the footer. You can only change what widgets are displayed on the footer.

If you need answers to questions regarding Listify, please contact support!

Cheers! Fernando

Hi,

And can you give me a code snippet or what code i need to edit to modify it ? It is really needed to be in 2 columns. Thank you

At this time, regarding the footer section, the theme is coded to have four and would need custom code to change this.

We don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP CurveEnvato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Cheers! Fernando

Hey,

my clients website is no longer showing correctly when viewed on a mobile device, format and text are either missing completely or out of placement http://eitstaffing.com/ especially any text that has a bullet point is not visible on cell phones. Also, when clicking “apply for job”, on cell phones, no fields are displayed, just the asterisks. e.g. http://eitstaffing.com/job/sr-server-technician All plugins are up to date.

Can you take a look?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Having a quick look at the website on a mobile device everything appears as it should. The text seems to still appear for me including bullet points . The form also came up for me as shown here.

If you need further assistance, we can gladly have a better look into this through our support!

Cheers! Fernando

Hey Fernando,

thanks for the reply, I see your screen shots, if they are taken from a desktop computer and minimized for mobile viewing we get the same, our issue is when the site is viewed on an actual phone device the formatting and text is missing/not showing up.

Thanks,

Hey again,

I tried again on a Nexus Android device and the content seems fine of the link you provided. See here.

I compared it side by side to the text on a desktop and everything is there.

Cheers! Fernando

Hi does this support Yoast?

Hey, Its great to hear from you,

Hope you are doing well today!

Yes, the Jobify theme does support the Yoast plugin!

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Is it easy to add additional fields in the job search criteria?

Hi As suggested by you, I tried the WP Field Editor Plugin Demo to see if it can achieve my requirement to display some extra info on front end. Plugin display the fields but I am not able to make it display good. Also I cannot find those field in view-source option to check under which class it is going. Please check this image for expected display and suggest if that can be possible or not. https://snag.gy/JBSIDt.jpg

Hi, Could you please provide suggestion for above query?

Hi there!

Sorry for the delay and I hope you are doing well!

Keep in mind the demo used for the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin does not use our Jobify theme. When using the plugin with our theme there are additional options and styling added with our theme.

For example there are additional options on where to place field content as shown here. Also, the output of a Salary field looks a lot different on Jobify then our demo. See here.

Hope this gives you a better idea of how the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin works with Jobify. Let me know if I can be of further assistance! :)

Kind Regards, Fernando

Hi,

Good day.

I have a couple of questions that hope you can help me out, please

Where can i translate the next words in my site 1.- Job finder keywords locations any category 2.- Button “get started” 3.- In sign up First Name Last Name Sign Up

Also is there a way we can change the link of the button “apply job”, in order to redirect to a page where they can fill their resume

Also i created a ticket a few days ago, but i havent received any answer. Hope you can help me out, please

Thanks in advance.

Hey there!

Thanks for your questions today!

For your first question, you can use the SayWhat plugin to edit the text of these fields. You can read a bit on this here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/406-translate-a-single-word

I do see you have submitted a support ticket over at our support. We apologize for the delay. We will get back to you shortly and help you out with your questions better through support!

Hi (Pre Purchase Question)

In Our Case, Company will let us know JOBS and we will be posting on behalf of them and if anybody reply to that job or if anybody is interested in that job and post resume or query then that reply should come to us and not to company.

is it possible ?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

Yes, you can post all jobs yourself on behalf of the company. You can also have the applications be sent only to the Admin and not the company. You will be able to manage all this yourself on behalf of the company.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi

Theme has a feature that Employer can post a job, even if they post job we can stop email to them and only mail comes to Me as ADMIN ?

Thanks

Hey again,

Sounds like you need to Set up your Contact forms in order to send to the employer and not the Admin. Follow the steps on the article for assistance.

If you needfurther assistance with setting up your forms, please contact us through support!

How do I include more than one Job in the Job Spotlight section on right side of the Home page? Similar to https://digitalmarketingjobs.ie I currently have one Job posted in the Spotlight section, but would like the list to run down to as many Recent Jobs I have.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

To make jobs show up under the Spotlight Section you need to make sure Jobs are set to featured. This will enable them to show up.

If you need further assistance, please let us know through support! We hope to hear from you!

I have updated to your 3.5 and now have lost the register option select dropdown?

Why is this? Sean

I have now worked it out….!!

Hey there Sean,

Glad to hear it is sorted! :)

Cheers! Fernando

Hi, I am hosting the theme on a AWS Bitnami wordpress installation. Since migrating images and scripts have started taking a long time to load. It is nothing to do with the performance of the host as it’s exactly the same machine running it. If anything it should be faster because my ping to the server is lower as it’s hosted in a region that is closer to me.

Do you know what this might be? The site is hosted at http://strivefor.co

If you look at the page it won’t load the scripts for around 60 seconds. All HTML and CSS will load, just not the functionality. The find job page is the best example of this.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Will

p.s. this is the console log from chrome on page load: http://imgur.com/a/PLp3k

Never mind, found the issue! Some of the image file paths were looking for the old address which was making the whole page hang until the request timed out. Fixing now.

Hi there William,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out!

I am glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue! If you do run into any issue or road blocks, feel free to submit a Support Ticket over at our Help Desk where we can help you with any issues you run into!

Hi guys, thinking about purchasing theme and using basic version. Do you have a standard contact us page with corresponding mail.php file available?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well.

You can create a Contact us page and use a Custom Form to contact a Employer or the website admin.

Hope this answers your question!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi, i’ve just purchased the jobify theme about a week ago. And have had problems once installed. In that the setup guide to install plugins doesn’t load.

I’ve tried creating a support ticket 5 days ago but have had no response or confirmation email that the ticket was received. I appreciate that there has been public holidays over this period, but any help to get this resolved would be much appreciated

Hi there Joel!

Hope you are doing well!

I am trying to solve a 500 error that I get for wp-admin when updating to the latest version of Jobify, but I can’t get to the support level because my envato purchase isn’t showing up in the Astoundify interface. When I contacted envato, they replied (below):

“Thank you for writing in. My name is Riqi, an Envato Help Officer. I am sorry to hear about the problems you’ve had while trying to submit support request on the external site of Jobify – WordPress Job Board Theme.

I checked your account and confirmed that your purchase code is being detected by the system and it is valid, however, it seems that the API integration tool of the author is having an issue. As much as I personally would love to help you with this, I am unable to do so given that we do not have access to the website database of the author. :( I would recommend for you to try reaching out to them so they can further assist you with your request.”

Meanwhile, I am getting a blank page for the wp-admin section when I update to the most recent release of Jobify. the site is: https://dssjobs-sswcwec.vipapps.unc.edu/

Hi there,

I do see that your support has expired. I can suggest the following to resolve your issue. It does seem you do have files from the older version still lingering on your server and this is what is causing the issue. Make sure you are using FTP to delete all previous theme files before uploading the new theme updates. This will resolve the issue you are experiencing.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi Fernando,

Happy New Year.

I hope you are well.

I am in a process of developing a social networking Job Portal Website.

I had a couple of questions before I took the final call of buying your theme.

1. Is it possible to have only one user sign up? For Example: The candidate can be an employer as well as a candidate?

The reason for Question 1 is because I am making a social networking job portal for within my company to enhance people collaborating with each other.

2. Is it possible to install BuddyPress plugin with you theme?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Ekta

Hey there Ekta!

Happy New Year to you too! :)

Question: 1. Is it possible to have only one user sign up? For Example: The candidate can be an employer as well as a candidate?

Answer: A Candidate will be able to submit both Jobs and Resumes if they wish.

Question: 2. Is it possible to install BuddyPress plugin with you theme?

Answer: The Jobify theme uses WordPress coding standards so any plugin that uses these same standards should work with our theme. There are certain styles theme developers can add to themes to make plugins like BuddyPress look more “styled” but we have not added any of these styling elements to the Jobify theme. BuddyPress styles may not be perfectly suited to the Jobify theme.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Please tel me can you crate something for me if needs me? Because I need some things which you don’t have in jobyfi. Can I order?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question today!

At this time we do not offer custom work for our themes. If you need additional features for your theme we highly recommend WP CurveEnvato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Hope this helps!

Cheers! Fernando

Hi,

I sent a reply to the support, did you get the last email?
