Hi, this is not an error from the theme or our plugins. I’ve never seen this before, please try the install on a fresh wordpress version without any EXTERNAL PLUGIN AND FOLLOW THE MANUAL FOR THE DEMO INSTALLATION (LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPORT THE DEMO PLUGIN INSTEAD OF installing it.

Hi, I installed on a fresh wordpress but in tools>import it will only accept WXR file but the demo content is zip file “easy_installer.zip”. Every other demo files are also in zip format that’s why I am getting such error. Please let me know how to change that file to WXR or let me know if there is any other way to work the demo file.

Hello, you are repeating what I already explained in previous post You really should please check the manual. Sonik provides INSTALLER PLUGINS. You have to please install your chosen demo AS A PLUGIN and NOT try to import it. It’s explained in the manual with screenshots too:

Hello, I am not sure it can work with WPMU, as it’s pretty strict with many functions and may lead to problems. We never had reports of white screens on QT Video plugin, the version on dropbox is already older than the one bundled in the theme so just use the bundled one please as the theme was updated more recently.

Hello! No, to keep the theme lighter we didn’t include Revolution as is pretty heavy. The slider is built in and has many content settings, while is not super flexible by the design point of view. There are no limits on the plugins you can install by the way, so you are free to install revolution on this theme and will have no problems.

Thanks for the response. When the notes mention video background, does that include behind the slider? If I can put a video behind a very simple slider then that will be enough for what we need to do.

You can create a section with Visual Composer and set a youtube video as background of the section easily. To do what you mean you need Revolution Slider (not included) or maybe some other free slider plugin to achieve the same result.

Hello, thanks for the reply. Yes I was using easy_installer.zip. I checked into the forum and found someone with the similar issue. The issue is the static home page is defaulted to the radio demo when it is originally uploaded. You have to go into the static homepage settings and set the front page to default to “Sonik Home”. This will bring in the label template (as shown in the demo). All good now, thanks.

Ok I understand. So the contents are correct, the difference is that in the demo online we decided to set another page as home in Reading->Settings. The same pages you see in the demo are also inside of your demo installation, you can set your favorite homepage in the wp settings.

Hello! 1) Never tested but should have no technical problems. Probably you’ll need to change manually the color of some buttons via CSS as there are no specific style customizations for buddy in the theme.

2) Sell tickets: yes you can using woocommerce and the built-in purchase buttons. You can add unlimited buy links in any event. If you want to directly add to the cart a product from the event page, we can provide a small code customization for you. Of course analyze well what means selling tickets with woocommerce as the support only covers the theme and not the external plugins setup and issues. Thanks!

Hi! The theme is only tested and compatible with woocommerce, other plugins I don’t know as there are thousands for ecommerce and we just provide support for the most diffused one. I don’t understand the first question. You can disable the preloader if this is what you mean. The demos are pretty heavy because Envato requires to have super hi-quality pictures and in the home of the demo pages we uploaded about 10 MB of pictures.

Hello! The OWL carousel itself has this limitation, so we had to bypass the setting for 1 and set on 2 to make it work. Is the component itself unable to handle 1 post at a time, so I’d suggest to use a slideshow gridstack to do that, which works fine with 1 post a time. Also there may be components from visual composer that may fit your needs (maybe need some styling on Visual Composer settings). My best regards Igor

Hi, thanks for your reply. Only problem with the gridstack slideshow is that it crops the post title, also I need to have 3 columns – posts, events and qtvideo and the gridstack slideshow doesn’t give me the option to use qtvideo.

You cannot do like you want, the element requires the full space of the row to work, as I understand you want i t to occupy only 1/3 of the page. That’s not possible that’s why you don’t see it in the theme demo, the elements are designed to work fullscreen. But I think you may easily find many free plugins to achieve what you need.

The titles are cropped ‘cos otherwise you would have all the items different sizes, then everybody would complain that the columns are not even.

Hello! Those features are possible but you need external (free) plugins, there are many on the Wordpress repository. For the counter there are many stats plugins and for the song request you can integrate a form with contact form 7, which is free and compatible with the theme.

Well thre are hundreds, the design is the only difference mostly so you can just check them and see which you like. But generally people goes for a classic analytics and don’t expose the stats anymore so i’m not really updated on that

Hello! All the components you see in home page are created with Shortcode (drag and drop with visual composer) so you can create your page exactly as you want and place any type of component, carousel or gallery in any page you like.

Thanks, I’ve tested the plugin, but still the same result. Also, when the QT Video Galleries plugin is activated, it seems to interfere with updating Role Manager settings in VC. On save, it displays a white page with “{message settings successfully saved.”}”. When deactivated, it saves normally, staying on the VC settings page in the back end. Actually, just tested again. With the updated plugin installed, it seems to disable Visual Composer completely on the backend.

I’ve tracked down the issue. I had the “Live Search & Custom Fields” plugin enabled, which seems to conflict with Sonik. Disabling it seems to have cured the issues. I thought I had disabled it before, but I missed it. Sorry for any confusion! Thanks for the help as well

Ok it looks like probably that plugin match some class name with the theme, hard to say which ones.

Hello! Never tried, can’t guarantee that it works, but I’m interested (as you say is good) to provide support for it. If you want you can purchase the theme and check if it works, otherwise you can choose to get a refund or wait a few days that we provide the needed integration tools, but can’t give you 100& warranty that they integrates smoothly as there are many plugins out there with bad programming issues that you notice with more complex themes like ours. Unfortunately I must say we are under xmas holidays and will take some days off along december/beginning january.

So as i explained in my previous answer, if the server accomplish to the wordpress reqquirements it is ok. The theme works until wordpress does.

The api key is not enabled correctly, looks like the domain in the Google settings (not in the website but in google maps) is not correctly set. You can enable the debugger in Appearance->Customize and then check in the Chrome’s Console if you have any message from google maps.

The software is ok is just a matter of Google API settings, you have really to check carefully the instructions from google.
