I have already followed ALL steps of the installation. I spoke for hours with the hosting and changed the version of PHP and changed to the requirements of the theme. Hi there I have another question. I have used an additional unique class to style my text box differently in the short code and then added the style in the child theme css, but its not working..please advise. Thank you. code is as follows:

Thank you I will submit support ticket, although I deleted the class in the style sheet as it didn’t work, so I was concerned I had done something incorrect. I’m not sure if I put the class in the correct .css file….maybe that was the problem, as there is more than one way to add the .css, 1). add it via ‘Appearance – editor – kids child: style.css or 2). via ‘Appearance – customise – additional css’

The best practice to use a custom CSS class is to add it in “Additional Classes” field in Text shorcode, and use this class in Theme Settings – Elements – Custom Codes – Custom CSS as shown on the screenshot.

I have a question about the tabs / tours & toggles / accordions. How do add a menu link /url to each item (tab or tour)? Also, when using the toggles / accordions the font color of the heading / title is white, how do I customise the styling using a class, as i have tried the above method but its not styling.

As much as we’d love to help, adding menu link to each tab or tour requires significant modifications, that are beyond our support policy. Appreciate your understanding.
Concerning the color changing, I can recommend you to use the following custom css code in order to change the font color of the tour heading:

Hi there, I would like to use the projects feature to show case our classrooms/ages and then be able to use the portfolio short code, to insert it on the page. I know i have to create / add projects to use this feature, and I know how to add a new project, but the project opens as a post with the sidebar, with the likes, author, date and catogories on the left side bar. How do I disable it so that my page does not look like a post. Please advise thank you.

Please note that you can proceed to Theme Settings – Single Posts – Project tab and uncheck the boxes which you don’t need to display on your projects.

Thank you. I have also noticed that the post and projects format is not displaying at full width. I have changed the settings under theme settings- single post – post tab & projects tab, however its still displaying with a margin / padding on either side. Is there something that I have missed?

The matter is that the open project/post can not be displayed as full width. Changing its layout requires serious theme customization that is beyond our support policy.

The Layer slider plugin doesn’t provide opportunity to display 3 slides at the same time, but I can recommend you to add three images in different layers to one slide, each of the can have its own link. Hope it will be helpful.

To update the theme just download the newest archive from the Themeforest, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders like kids/kids). You can rename the theme you used previously (for example, adding “-old” after the theme name) – in this way the old theme will be backuped on your server.
If you still experience any problems, please submit us a personal request here with relevant WordPress and FTP credentials and our support agents will be happy to help you with the theme update.

The matter is that the arrows are displayed for mobile view only, that’s how the menu is presupposed to function. Hi there, I have sent a ticket for support yesterday regarding a few issues, the 1st issue i was having with the send button on the contact form and that I would like to center the buttons, and I see that my site has been worked on, however i still don’t know what was done to centre the buttons, and the send button is connected to and email that is not known to me. To center the buttons the following custom css code was added in the Theme Settings – Elements – Custom codes tab:

As for the Contact form, you can set needed email address in the Contact form shortcode settings.
If you need to use the reCAPTCHA in your form you need to enter your keys first.
Besides please don’t forget to add all the fields you used to your Message Composer, as shown on the screenshot. Just click on all the fields you used save changes. Then message received when contact form is submitted, will include the entered information.

Hi there, can you please let me know which google map plug in was used so i can research on how to use it correctly. At the moment i am just playing guessing game with google short code marker settings.
Also when i add the co-ordinates it doesn’t seem to work. Is there a help manual that i can get a hold of to help me. Feeling very frustrated!

The matter is that a while ago Google changed the way Google Maps should function and now API key is required (it wasn’t required previously). Please add your key in Theme Settings – Elements – Custom codes tab. The key can be generated here. Here is a video instruction so that you can see how the key should be generated. Please be sure that you activated the Google Maps JavaScript API and Google Maps Geocoding API.
After that Google Map should be displayed correctly. Please note that on our demo we do not use any additional plugins for Google Map displaying, it is added only with the help of Google Map shortcode.

Thank you, I eventually figured it out and got my own API key, but didn’t need that as it was easier for m to embed the google code into a text box…display much better for my requirements. thank you
oh..and all this talk about shortcode…do you have any tutorials available to brush up on some skills? as I have absolutely no clue!

Please check this video demonstrating how easily shortcodes can be managed. It’s taken for another product from our portfolio, but general idea for Kids theme is the same. We’d also kindly advise to check other videos under Features menu item to see other composer and overall theme options. Our customers usually use exactly Cmsmasters’ Content Composer, as they are absolutely satisfied with it.
