Hello, we’re using this theme and love it so far. Minor question. We would like to use this theme to create some landing pages. However, we want those landing pages to be a one-way funnel, and therefore we do not want them to have the persistent navigation and the footer of the other pages in the site. What is the best way to achieve this? Child theme?

Is this theme safe for updating WP to 4.8?
Also, my company purchased this theme but I’m not sure where to find my purchase code for support. I’m having issues with the navigation menu dropdowns not working on iOS Safari. Would like support but not sure how to go about finding my purchase code from the product.
Yes, we have tested with WP 4.8 and have not seen any issues come up. When upgrading to a new major version of WP it’s always best to make a backup just in case, but there should be no issues.

Okay great, I’m having some of the older employees look into tracking down who made the purchase. Worst case scenario I can just purchase the theme again in order to access support. The dropdown menus not working on iOS safari is a pretty big issue for us!

- How flexible is the header banner. I was interested on adding content into it in two columns. Is it robst enough for this and is it searchable for SEO?
- Can the brands section be scrolling?

1. Can you tell me what you mean by header banner? Are you referring to the site header that includes the logo and nav? Or the page header section?
2. The brands section does not scroll, but you can use the Thumbnail slider section instead which has back and next arrows. Or if you want auto-scrolling, you can use the included Master Slider plugin.

The page builder is similar, but it uses more WP custom post types.
I have been using Pursuit theme for long time on my website and like it the most. But, when we measure the page load speed with Google page speed; then, the report for both mobile and desktop are quite poor. So, could you please let me know the compatible W3 Total Cache setting for css, JS minify and other browser related cache setup?

Yes, you can use W3 Total, just be careful when using JS minify, sometimes it can be tricky and depending on the plugins you are using could break functionality. Everything else should be fine. You can test it out by turning options on / off. We found that it worked very well.

1. How to change the background color of footer 1a. How to remove the pre footer area just above the footer if I am not using it for anything like social
2. My primary nav is made up of HOME which is my static front page and then 4 anchors i.e. #partner #press. When i load the site, ALL menu items in the nav are underlines, as if I am selected on all of them at all times. Any thoughts?

Hi. it seems the theme is causing issues with Formidable Forms. When I have Pursuit theme installed Formidable Forms settings-tab is not working, and I see the following errors in the console: https://screencast.com/t/onRFffGhgA As soon as I select another theme (eg, the default Twenty Seventeen theme from Wordpress) there are no errors.

Is this theme W3 Total Cache compatible? Specifically the minify of JS and CSS file?
Hello, we use W3 Total in our demos, but we don’t use the minify options because we found some irregularities with some of the plugins we use. It works great without those options.

What are the sizings for the images to add to the slider function?
Generally speaking, you can upload any size and the theme will shrink or stretch it to fit. For full width background images, we recommend a width of 1400px – 1800px.
