Hi, we can’t give you custom css in the comments, but there are options for that, look in Journal > Settings > Catalog Mode.

Hi, i have a problem with Journal Mobile version. In checkout page (quick chekout) there are unable to fill any information in required fields and unable to choose any payment and shipping option. OC support check this rpoblem and answer that this is a problem with theme but not with engine. My store URL: www.fitnessmeal.eu

Hi, I know my support has expired. I have disabled the Journal push button options from Settings > Product Page > Product Details > Product Options > Push Options > Push Image > OFF. However, I am seeing a blank image next to the text option. How do I remove completely the image? I do not want any image. I just want the text option in the default opencart form. With version 2.8.9, When I set caching on, I loose my background image and the background is white.
Is this a known problem ?

Just installed Journal2 2.8.9 and I do believe there a is a problem with Slider Revolution. On a boxed layout, the slide image is not wide enough. I was able to fix with the following vqmod xml.

Hi, we can’t find any issue with that on our end but you should make sure you run the latest theme version 2.8.9 as some slider sizing issue was fixed recently.
Furthermore, you should not resort to patches or mods, you should just report the issue and if indeed it exists it will be fixed in our next update.

Have you tried switching your demo10 to boxed layout to replicate the error ?
We are looking into this now, seems the issue was addressed in fullwidth at the time. Will be fixed and shipped in 2.9.0 tomorrow.

The google description shown is not the text at settings: Meta Tag field, but some system text, like the cart is empty and add to list. I added all text for each categories and products and still I’m getting some chops of system text.

Hi, we’re not sure we fully understand your query but Google may include additional information in search description if meta tags aren’t relevant. This isn’t a theme related issue and we suggest you consult with a SEO expert for more information.

Hello, thank you for your answer. I sort of find the problem (however no the solution). When I turn on the “recommended products”, as carousel in the home page, Google takes as description of the web site part of the text from this banner (i.e. name of the product.. add to list… ). When I turn off the mentioned banner the description in Google is the one at Description Meta Tag as expected, The banner’s text, for some reason, overrides the expected site description. I hope this helps.
Hi, I would refer you to my previous reply as we’re not really sure how Google decides what test to use from the page, best would be to ask a SEO expert and then build your modules on the page page as per their instructions.

Hi, simply remove any menu items from Secondary menu (create all in Top Menu) and then the menus will display in the center of the screen while the language and currencies move to the sides.

Hi Great job on this theme, well done. One thing, can you update your Journal Documentation, just trying your new theme demo 15 and the demo documentation only goes up to 10. Want to find out the configuration and modules used in that theme.
Be great if you had a print version button for your documentation also, not always able to view it on screen and would make for some great bedtime reading

I am quite surprised with the good quality and neat organization of this theme as compared to other 2 themes which I bought few months ago which I already stopped using due to messy documentation, and also hard to find the options I wish to change. Thumb up to the authors of journal!
I am using journal 10 skin, may I know how do I extend the width of my contents, menu and everything right to the edge of my left and right of the screen? and also how do I change the transparent part of the icons to white background?

I have figured out that I need to set header skin to journal 10 too and it now use the full width. However I have not figured out where to change the transparent background for the icon on footer.
Hi, you don’t need to change the active skin to get a larger site width, all skins share the same set of options throughout the admin so in your desired skin simply increase the site width from Journal > Settings > Global > General > Layout > Site Width.

the super filters would be nice if they worked by specific category not the same for all of them. In my shop each category has sub categories for different niches and the super filter has standard options for all of them. Maybe this to be added in a future version?

When I select ‘show 16’ items on a page it still shows all available items in that category and not just 16 items as requested. Do you know what is causing this ? The URL looks like this:- MyWebsite/mens#/sort=p.sort_order/order=ASC/limit=16

Hi, on GSC i have too much problems with duplicate titles. When i see from where are these duplicate titles i see that i have problem with the filters. For example i have an product with url ribarnik.com/shop/baitrunner-st-fa, but something create a link of the product /shop/baitrunner-st-fa?sort=pd.name&order=ASC&limit=100. I dont know how is created this link and why is indexed by google, but i wanna add all these links (with filters) to be “noindex”.
Also i have to all products canonical tag, but google say again that i have duplicated titles.
Please help, really! I have more than 20 000 products and on every product i have between 5-10 duplicated title, so… Please help!

Yes i know, but the problem not is this. When i go to change the “sort by” the link is changed with ”#/sort=pd.name/order=ASC/limit=16” not with ?sort…. This is the problem. I don’t know from where is coming this ?sort …
That link is generated by Super Filter (note the # after the category name). If Super Filter module is placed on a page, pagination, sort by and limit options are handled by Super Filter and they are shown in url after # character.
How can i add to all the filter links on the head ”<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW”>”?
That’s not possible unfortunately, filter urls are generated dynamically on the client side, they are not present in the source of the page.
You don’t understand me. When i am on the category page is normal to have an link with filter, but when i am on the product page this is not normal. Something generate an link of the product + filter. My product is ”/shop/baitrunner-st-fa” why i have on the product page an filtered link with “sort…”? This not is normal.
That’s surely not something theme related, super filter urls can’t be applied to product pages, they are only working in category type pages (category, special, search, manufacturer) basically only layouts with category type structure.

Just wondering is it possible to add plugins to the current version of CKEditor used in journal? I see that certain plugins are not available in the tool bar that I would like to use. So far it looks like Journal is using CKEditor 4 but I am not sure if it is the most current version. If not is CKEditor V4.6.2 compatible with journal?
I would appreciate if you would guide me through the process including what files would need to be modified or replaced so that I may preferably update to the latest CKEditor or at the very least add a few new plugins. I am assuming I would need to replace the files located in /admin>view>journal2>lib>ckeditor with the new CKEditor V4.6.2 files? However, I then also noticed that there is an additional file in /admin/view/journal2/js/directives as well. I’m Not quite sure if this file should stay/be replaced or modified as I am unaware if journal has made any other modifications to the CKEditor?

Hi, unfortunately that is not something we can assist with, please consult with your developer to see if it’s possible but we can’t guarantee the CKEditor will work fine if modified. In any case, you shouldn’t be concerned with the directives folders, relevant files are in lib.
