As TiaID said 14 days ago, regarding Infinite Scroll. I would love to use this feature, but the problem is when you click on a product, and then decide to go back in history, you get to “Page 1” again.
If the category has a large number of products in it, its not so good for the customer to have to redo the scrolling down to find the location where he left of.
An easy solution would to be to attach an anchor tag to the product url on click, rewrite current location history to category + anchor, then redirect customer to product page.
When going back in history, the rewritten history will be used, and page JS could check anchor and autoload pages until anchor corresponding to product ID is found, then scroll to correct placement.
Hi, unfortunately this isn’t possible with the infinite scroll at this time. We’re looking into it but can’t guarantee it can be added in the system.

Just updated from 2.8.5 to latest 2.8.9. In Journal Dashboard, it still says 2.8.5 and notifies me that Update 2.8.6 is available. Using OpenCart 2.3.0.2.
I have refreshed modifications using extension/modification -> Blue icon. I have also cleared the Journal cache. I have also renamed the system/storage/modification folder to something else, and created the modification folder again, empty. Then I refreshed extension/modification -> Blue icon
I also manually deleted the VQMod cache and let it be recreated.
Have logged in and out.
I have checked all files on server, and they are from content of latest download from folder Journal_2.8.9 -> OpenCart_2.x
What to do?
This is now solved. Had to Turn off Journal Cache, Clear Cache, Set vqMod $_devMode to true, delete system/storage/modification folder, recreate it manually, refreshing modifications from admin. Done.

Hi, I have a programmer who can do this (so when updating we can redo it.) Just need to know if it is possible without editing code? I guess there is no option in the normal settings for this?
ps, if it possible through the custom code section please let me know, i will contact you than. I have a lot of changes and whenever I update the theme it costs me lots of time to redo all te changes. Looking for a way that is permanent.

I see you’re missing the whole point, you don’t share anything here. You file a ticket on our support page where you enter both the Themeforest username and purchase code associated with that user. No one will see them, except us, the developers of the theme.

Hi journal team,
I noticed on my phone that both the product breadcrumbs as well as carousel titles are getting cut off as they go beyond the view port of the phone instead of jumping to the next line and being responsive as they should. Using Journal V2.8.9
A fix would be Awesome! Keep up the good work.

Hi, please update to 2.9.0 for the breadcrumbs, however the carousel titles cannot be displayed on multiple lines, they will display with ellipsis ”...” at the end.

hi, i have improved demo data (demo 4) and video in slide is not playing in mobile browsers but it is ok on desktop browsers. Could you please tell me how to make it works on mobile. thanks,William
Hi, videos cannot play automatically on mobile devices, that’s only available on desktops. The mobile device prevents any videos from autoplay so you have to click on them to start playing.

thanks for replay. I did some research and it says it can auto play if you mute video and use latest mobile broswers. So i have checked mute option in slide and you module does not add mute attribute to it.

add to cart v Enquiry.. In earlier versions of journal I had the option to have BOTH showing, its important to me to have both as i get lots of questions about each product. Is there a way that BOTH add to cart and Send Enquiry can be shown. I seem to have lost the ability to place the enquiry block in a position i want it in. please advise
Hi, sorry but that was never an option so you couldn’t have had both. The button will replace the add to cart button, it’s how it’s supposed to work. There are ways to create custom links via the Product Tabs/Blocks that can open a popup but only on the product page.

I need to add a code for this page for the Meta Title to display the Blog Name + Tag Name , or whats the tag .tpl file to add rel no fallow for tags links. I wll have more than 100 tags on my blog , I don’t want google penalize my blog because I will have 100 + pages with same Meta Title. Thanks!

My fault, I thought that Blog Meta Title is similar to Meta Tag Title from opencart, It will be nice to add this option. Thanks!
About Tags, possibly because my English is bad, not to be understood. Pls check this screen. 3 different pages on blog, but all pages have the same Meta tag title. https://i.imgsafe.org/b1eb147c8f.png . This is not good for SEO. 100 tags means 100 pages with Same Meta Tag Title. I’m not a coder and i don’t remember the code, but i know it’s very simple to add a code for the Meta Tag Title to import the words from url .
The results from the screen I made for the meta Tag Title will be 3 different pages with 3 different Meta Tag Titles :
1. Journal Blog
2. Journal Blog Modern
3. Journal Blog Sweet.
