Hi Eva – thank you for telling me about the “force users login” setting the other day. It was exactly what I needed. I have two follow-up questions: a) how can one reduce the width of the shaded “login area” and move it to the right half of the screen (I’ve marked with two arrows what I’m referring to in this screenshot: http://mf.ly/mc6) and b) how can I place some informational text to the left of it? I’m basically trying to create something similar to the mockup you can see at http://mf.ly/f6l
Hi,
please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – this way I can answer you in more detail.
Hi there – a pre-sales question: Is this theme compatible with Moodle 3.2.2 ? Also – when moodle gets upgraded to a newer version – what is the average delay before this theme gets updated to support the latest version of Moodle?
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. The theme is already compatible with Moodle 3.2.2+. Theme Lambda is the longest-standing product at themeforest for the Moodle category. It already had some important updates, it runs stable & reliable and until now you could always seamlessly use the theme for each new Moodle version.
Thank you for the prompt response! Much appreciated.
Hello,
How do I make it so that a user who is not logged in and visits the homepage sees a page with a full screen background image and only the site’s logo in the top left and log-in fields for user name and password in the center of the page, and one semi-transparent box with some textual information, to the left of the login fields?
I realize this a real beginner’s question, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction for this.
Thank you very much, Marc.
That’s the Moodle “force users to login” setting. This way, all visitors and users start at the standard Moodle login page where only a login form is shown. You can find this option at the general Moodle site policies settings in “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Security” > “Site policies”. Here, you’ll have to click the “Force users to login” checkbox.
wow, thanks for the useful help. I’ll try it right away. Thank you again, Eva.
You’re welcome!

Hi, I’m looking to pay a freelancer to help me customize this great theme (I hope it’s OK to post this here). If you’re interested, please contact me at www.atlanticpoint.com/contact. Thank you.
No problem!
But you could also take a look at envato studio or contact me via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) – perhaps the customizations which you need are no big thing and can be done as part of the theme support.
Hi, is it possible to change the color scheme of a specific course, without change all other courses? Is this described in documentation? Thanks
Hi,
I have just replied to your email.
We love the theme but I have a question. How do you set up a course to take on the “Buttons” course format or where in the documentation can I look it up? thanks

Hi, I have an issue with url activity module. When i try to embedd the link using the url activity i have a white page. After many search it seems that the template is responsible for this error. Could you please help me fix this issue. Its an emergency. Thanks a lot
Hi,
the theme doesn’t have any effect on the general Moodle functions. So I doubt that this is theme related. You could try and temporarily switch to the default Moodle theme “Clean” to verify if you have the same issue there.
If this doesn’t help you, please contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) and send me the login credentials for a temporary admin access so that I can take a look at your settings.
Hi. In my “Theme Option” i don’t have “Frontpage settings”. I’m on noodle 3.2 and with latest Lambda Theme. Thanks Luca
there is indeed no Panel “Frontpage Settings” at the theme settings, but you have the panels for the “Slideshow” and the “Frontpage carousel” which can be defined for the frontpage:

It is possible to install the theme on 2.4 moodle version? Thank you
Hi,
unfortunately, the theme won’t work with Moodle 2.4. It uses the Moodle bootstrapbase parent theme, which is included since ver. 2.5.
Perhaps you should contact your hosting service: The support for Moodle 2.4 has ended since July 2014, so this is also a matter of security issues…
Hi it is possible for you to make an demo version where i can login with administrator so i can lokk at this theme before buying. (Some of the another moodle themes have this ) Regards Trond
sorry, but I don’t plan to provide access data for an admin or teacher role (with a student role you won’t see any backend settings options). As a teacher, you could delete contents or change the theme for the courses of the demo site. Even if I backup the site, there might be visitors who watch the demo in this state. I hope for your understanding…
But every course in the demo site is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like. If you want to know how the theme can get customized and how the theme options are set up, you can take a look at the online documentation: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
At the theme’s demo site, you can also see some screenshots of the admin settings page (-> slideshow): http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/view.php?id=3§ion=3
The theme follows the Moodle standards and so of course all admin settings, activity modules and the course creation will work in the way you are used to.
Hello, is ther any functional DEMO ??
Hi,
yes, of course: You just have to click the “Live preview” link!
Before making the purchase I am having few questions:
1. The demo link you have given its not allowing to login, I would like to see the placement of the menu and other thing that is available when you login as admin.
2. Does theme need a license key to get activated? the reason why I am asking this because, if I purchase 1 license and then I have to install that on localhost while developing the website, does it need to be activated or only when i make our website live that time I have to give some license key?
3. Is it compatible with moodle 3.2?

But now the good news: You don’t need to activate the theme with a licence key so that you can use it at your local dev environment without any problems. And of course the theme is compatible with Moodle 3.2.
Is there any way to place dummy content on our Moodle installation the same as you have in the demo site? i had raised the support ticket to author as well but didn’t received any response.
Hi,
yes, I have noticed that you have already contacted me. I have replied on 14 February and on 18 February to your support requests. Could you please check your inbox again? Perhaps you should also verify if the email address which you are using for your envato profile is the correct one.
Hello, in the demo, the theme does not cover the whole area of the screen and appears a background with a green landscape image, this is when the template is installed? I would like the subject to be responsive and cover the entire screen.
Thanks for the reply.
the theme is of course responsive and you can choose between a boxed version with a background and a full width layout. You can take a look at the various settings options here at the theme’s online documentation
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
or here at the showcase:

Hello!
Unfortunately I don’t know which way contacting you is better, so I duplicate my questions.
To tell the truth it is my first purchase so i have maybe some strange questions:) Well, will i have access to the CSS-code after purchasing? Will I be able to change the item? Actually, I’d like to make smth like Adobe Captivate inside. So I need to understand how much of the template can I change?
Best regards, Ivan.
Hi,
I’ve just replied to your email.
Hi, i bought this theme a bit time ago, and only now i’m starting to use it, because that, Envato is telling me “Your support for this item has expired”. So i don’t no if i can ask something or not, if not just ignore that please… But, i’m trying to set my frontpage like in demo, there’s any way to do that? Because my HTML don’t move out from the sidebars and have a grey background. Thank You!
No problem, just contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support )
Hi, After upgrading to Theme version 1.56, moodle page stops loading after the header no menus no page content, this happens only after login, regardless of, if you login as an Administrator or a student.
Please help…
Thank you.
Hi,
I assume that your issue results from choosing the wrong installation folder: If you have uploaded the installation file for Moodle 3.2 and your Moodle site is running with an older Moodle version, then the theme could indeed stop loading after a login.
I have just sent you an email with the necessary steps to install the theme correctly again.
Hello, I am interesting in this theme, but I need to be sure if it support RTL fully while using mobile?
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
You just have to choose your rtl language in the language settings and you’ll be fine: https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Language_settings#Site_administration_settings
In general, Theme Lambda provides a native RTL layout support. Everything is horizontally flipped including dropdown main menu and blocks.
What a pity your registration didn’t work.
I am looking all over the place, but moodle doesn’t seem to have that feature. Guess all students, members, etc. are for free. Which means moodle is really only good for schools or universities, where students already paid for attending their schools, physically. What a shame, lol.
Hi,
you can not create a new account since this is a demo site…
But of course Moodle offers several options for the authentication and enrollment of your users:
There is for example an Email-based self-registration – for enabling users to create their own accounts. This way, your users choose their own username and password, and of course they are always able to reset it. But you can also manually add your users, for example with a connection to a database or a csv list. Or you could use a login via an existing social media account. And of course you can also offer paid contents so that a user will have to pay before he can access a certain course.
Please contact me if you would like to learn more about the user and course management with Moodle: http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support
