I am finding it impossible to remove the white space below the frontpage slider… the problem is that the row after the slider is dark while my background is white.. and I have spent way too many hours trying to figure this impossible thing out

I would like to report a bug with the submenu. I am using the latest version 1.4.2 with a child theme. I have set the main navigation to be sticky. However, when I scroll down, the submenus do not open. When I scroll to the top, the menu works fine. Can you replicate this on your end? How may be able to fix this?

Did you scroll down enough and hover over the menu to open the submenu? I think it’s a bug because I don’t have any special CSS/JS custom code or plugins that might interfere with the rendering of the submenus.
Do you have a demo page (similarly to https://demos.qreativethemes.com/thelandscaper/) on your end with a sticky navigation I can preview to see or find any implementation differences?

The page builder is a plugin from the WordPress directory and is not bundled within the theme folder. If there is a new update you can install it via Dashboard -> Updates in your WordPress admin menu.

Hello, I have an issue with the theme since the recent updates. On the home page I have “QT: Latest Blog Posts” plugin which is loading old news first and I can’t find a way to change their order. On the other hand, when admin is logged in, it shows the news conversely, like they should be loaded (first in, first out). Do you have any suggestion how to change that? However the theme is great and keep up the good work!

Thank you for also sending the error notice because that is causing the issue. The PHP execution time of your server is (by default) to low. Please ask your hosting provider to increase the PHP execution time and you can run the importer without issues

Hello. Very nice theme. I seem to have the latest version of the theme but I am not able to update the image slider on the home page. Am I just missing the location to edit?

Please make sure the ‘Front Page Fullwidth Slider’ template is selected in the ‘Page Attributes metabox. Then the page slider metabox will appear below the page builder.

Not by default options, but you can extend the page builder functionality with this plugin. It will add a new option panel for the row settings where you can add a background video. On this way you can easily create a video header.

The theme has basic WooCommerce integration. You can use WooCommerce in the theme as what is possible with WooCommerce by default and how it is in the theme demo. By default WooCommerce offer a checkout for credit cards.
Unfortunately there is no shopping cart through the site that will display the added or purchased items. Only on the shop pages it would be possible with the default cart widget.

When you click on the image from the Essential Grid gallery it opens the image twice. Once I click the x to close, it stays open and I have to click the x again.

Easiest way is to place your cursor between the shortcode tags and then press the ‘Add Media’ button to add 2 images

This is because WooCommerce use it’s own lightbox. We prefer to use a more lightweight lightbox version through the theme (Easy Fancybox).
To remove the double lightbox window please navigate to: WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display and uncheck the last checkbox of ‘Enable Lightbox for product images’ and save the settings.

To enable the navigation arrows / scroll function in the lightbox window please navigate to Settings -> Media and set the ‘Autogallery’ select field to ‘All in one gallery’ (under Images settings).
These are some pre-purchase questions. 1) In the estimate form, is it possible to add extra fields if I need too? 2) It says we can get the PSD files, are these icon files or what are they? 3) The import data, is this just the existing text data? 4) I’m guessing the stock photos are not part of the import data, so these will need to be purchased separately at a stock photo site? 1. Yes in the estimate form you can add extra fields (with a shortcode generator inside the form editor)
2. The PSD is the Photoshop file of the design of the theme
3. The ‘demo data importer’ created a copy of our theme demo (except for the images, those are replaced with placeholders). It is the easiest way to start editing the theme.
4. Correct. Unfortunately we are not allowed to distribute the stock photos in the theme (or PSD file). We created a summary of the images we used in this article
