Hi. So I’ve used this theme to build out a site and had to step away for a few months while the client tended to some business issues. Now that we are revisiting the website, I noticed that WooCommerce is not installed and I’m not sure why (see attached screenshot). I’ve already started building the theme out so I’m afraid to try and import the Psychiatrist demo using Tools > BT Import.
Any recommendation or assistance on how I can install WooCommerce at this state, since the client wants to utilize that feature of the theme?

Does the current theme come with Bold Builder? or can we install it separately and it will still work with all the theme features?

Hi Guys, I really love the look of the theme and was about to click the buy button when I saw that is wasn’t built on VC. It is a shame that you hadn’t built it based on VC as that is what most designers are using as standard nowadays.
I appreciate trying to offer something different but I had a quick look at the Rapid Builder demo and it is not intuitive to use. Perhaps if someone is building a one off site and has to learn a builder anyway it won’t make a difference to them. Unfortunately people may not have time to learn a new interface/builder when they are accustomed to VC, as straight forward as it may be to some, it is different and different = more time no matter what.
I love the theme but unfortunately I don’t have time to learn another builder. I hope you decide to re-issue the theme with VC, i think your sales will go through the roof – it is doing well for you regardless.
I also like the look of some of your latest HTML templates and am hoping that they are publish for WP using VC.

We appreciate the insight and your suggestions related VC, it is truly a great product with a huge user base, but in order to form a definite opinion we think you should give other options a try – Medicare is far from the exception in the market – there are many themes out there which are not based on VC.
We find VC a bit slow, buggy and clunky and with less than flexible licensing options. So we have built a product which counterparts all that

May be I misunderstood how the themes work. When I purchased the theme based on looking at the demo, my assumption was that on installation of the theme, we would have a working theme that looks more or less like the demo – at least with the pages assembled.
Here is the demo I saw: http://medicare.bold-themes.com/clinic/about-us/doctors-profile/But, looks like we have to pretty much build the elements of the page, arrange them to get to look & feel of the demo using Rapid Composer.
That will take a good amount of time, so I am not sure how this is supposed to be a reusable / ready-made.
All I wanted to do was to change the text to suit my clinic, use my portfolio image etc. This would give me a ready-made static set of pages, without knowing how to do all the HTML etc.
Is that doable? I saw a support link to install the theme – If I pay for that, would I get the demo site as part of the theme?

Also you need to scan your local computers for malware and trojans so your passwords don’t end up in the wrong hands.

Thanks Background color of the boxes can be changed using page builder. For the borders, you will have to add custom css statements in order to align them with the required design, so it will require some css coding.

Hello! Is it possible to use the Visual Composer plugin to replace Rapid Composer in this theme? I am aware that Rapid Composer is not very accessible, but the theme is very good and I would like to be able to buy but replace this plugin with another one. No Visual composer currently is not an option. As far as Rapid Composer is concerned we were getting comments on both ends of the scale – both praises and critical views. The thing is that people who are critical are always louder than those who like it.

Hi i’ve got a question. The style.css from the child theme loads before the parent css file and is overwritten by the parent. Do you have a workaround for this. I use this function to load the child theme:

Just a comment – no support requested. Rapid Composer is terrible. For 19 years I’ve hand coded sites on notepad, used authoring software, and built with most of the WP visual tools on the market – and RC is perhaps a rung below notepad. Heads up – it’s not pleasant, even for a seasoned vet. I’ll stick with the theme and use the text editor on this one. Just know that RC’s unfriendly backend adds to my development time and costs me hours and $$ – which means fewer customer sites per day. Guarantee: I will not purchase another theme using RC. Punt this one, fellas. It’s not good.

On Appearance > Customize > Blog panel there is a Settings Page Slug field. This field should contain the slug of the page which serves as a template for all blog posts. All blog post will inherit settings and shortcodes of the page referenced via this field.
In order to add sidebar elements on blog posts, please locate the page with the slug entered in Settings Page Slug field and edit it. At the bottom of the edit form, there is Global Setting Override section. Please add the override called sidebar with value right.
It should add sidebar to all individual posts.

You should definitely switch to visual composer as backhand. The tooling you are using rightnow is really terrible. With visual composer you will generate more sales for sure.. I bought this theme but never used it because it was to hard to work with

Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate it. We’ve had opinions from both ends of the spectrum – which is, of course expected.
Having analyzed all the comments in the past we have decided to go for the third option – to switch to our own page builder solution over which we will have full control. It is called Bold Page Builder and has been implemented in our Industrial theme https://themeforest.net/item/industrial-manufacturing-factory-wordpress-theme/18939815 and will be implemented on all future themes.
We intend to use it behind Medicare in near future as well.
We feel that we should keep needed level of flexibility which we have with our own solution, while at the same time switch the focus more to usability of the builder – and we hope we will achieve this.

Thanks We haven’t tested Catalog visibility Options Extension. Although we do not see the reason why it shouldn’t since we haven’t modified the core WooCommerce code in any way.
